We were driving from Arizona. It was 10:03 and we walked in carrying sleeping children to get a bite to eat. And the first thing we hear is a big lady scream«we are closed already». She kicked us out and we were driving a motorhome unable to go through their damn drive thru

The worst fast food restaurant I have ever seen. They took over 30 minutes to make my order and issued the same order number to myself and another customer and couldn’t figure out who ordered what. I’m not sure what the employee was speaking but I couldn’t understand anything he was saying. Turned a quick stop for food into an hour delay in getting home. I’ll never get off the freeway in Palm Desert again. Seriously, never stop here to eat.

I was here a few weeks ago on my travel back to Florida. I thought this place was easy to find off the interstate. Friendly staff members, but not too attentive. I didn’t get my drink that I ordered, so I had to ask for it. I had to wait a while for someone to take my order as well. Food was fresh, but service here was slow. The exterior and interior was clean overall. I would suggest stopping here if you are in the area. Hopefully you will get good service.

OK, I haven’t been one of Jack’s fans for many years. Their food was always pretty much edible, but not something to get excited about. But a coupon for two Buttery Jack™ Burgers for $ 5.00 plus a definite lack of funds enticed us to give them another shot. I got the Bacon & Swiss version; my wife likes mushrooms so she ordered the Portobello Mushroom style. No lettuce or tomato, but, goodness! These burgers actually tasted GOOD! Maybe they have a new supplier or something, but this has definitely been a change for the better. Oh, and I like it that we don’t have to order exactly the same same thing, like some coupons require. Maybe we don’t want two identical items. In fact, we usually don’t. We noticed also that the automated order kiosk has been removed and the guy running the place(maybe the manager?) was friendly and helpful. I expect to return now.

Stopped in as I was craving some stuffed jalapeños and the girl who took my order was not the brightest and wasn’t friendly either. I asked for a combo number 12 and she asks«would you like fries and a drink?» Well if I’m ordering the combo I sure hope that’s an option. I substitute my fries for jalapeños and she looks at me as if I’m speaking a foreign language. In the middle of the order she gets a drive thru order and tells another employee to help me while she handles the drive thru. The other employee just shrugged and walked away. I’m now standing there waiting a few minutes before she comes back and completes my order. I get a number and sit down and wait for my order. While I’m sitting the employees are all talking about their personal lives, and how one of them is going through a custody battle and all I hear if «f*** this and f*** that». Really? I know it’s fast food but no one wants to hear about what a dead beat and loser of a baby daddy you have. Actual words that came out of her mouth. I get up and ask for ranch and hot sauce with my food, I get bbq instead I asked for it again, I get eye rolls and girl comes back with one ranch and a couple packets of sauce. I asked if I could get one more since I’m having chicken strips and jalapeños. Que the eye roll again. What I really wanted to say was, did they sell it you? Are you paying for it? Do you hate your job? I will never come back to this location. I prefer the Jack in the box on Washington. Service is much better there and they’re not stingy with sauces either.

*** Pit stop review(Thousand Palms) *** This establishment is located right off of the freeway. Makes for a quick and easy pit stop. Get some quick food and hit the road again. There’s plenty of easy large parking spaces for larger vehicles. Food = standard Seating area = clean Service = average Parking = fantastic! Restroom = clean

Simply disgusting — dirty bathrooms and restaurant. The employees can’t get the most simple orders right(how can you mess up a Jumbo Jack with Cheese with everything on it ???) and are not helpful. My comment that the bathroom had no paper or soap was just shrugged off.
