This Elmer’s location is great. My four-star rating is based off the fact that the food is great, staff has been friendly to me, parking is easy, and it’s almost never overly crowded. This place meets its expectations(as much as you would expect from a small restaurant). The poor ratings previously could be accurate or overblown, I don’t know. But what I do know is that my experience thus far has been pleasant.

They were all friendly and nice until you signed your credit card receipt. Remember that one ex-friend that was so so awesome but once you loaned him/her the $ 100, she/he changed and started ignoring you? Yep, the staff made me feel like that here. LOL It was my fault really, I paid and should have just left the building but I went to the bathroom. I came out it was twilight zone because they were all rude after that. :(AND the sad breakfast was over $ 9… A few pieces of Bacon, 2 eggs that looked like they got thrown on to the plate & tasteless hash-brown! I don’t know how this place got 4 stars but that was my first time and last time at Elmer’s!!!

Ate here this am. Husband had potato pancakes and he loved them. I thought they tasted great as well. I had French toast and we both got sausage links. I loved every bite of my meal. Everything was really good.

Best breakfast place in Tigard! The service is amazing and the food is always consistently delicious! The management and employees always greet us by our names and it is wonderful!

Elmers gets a 5 star from us for today! My mom was kind enough to treat me to a wonderful as always breakfast at Elmers. The chic fried steak was on point as always with the hashbrowns cooked a little crispy, just how I like them. Mom’s egg, hashbrowns, bacon and toast was very tasteful as well. The staff is super friendly and serve efficiently.

We haven’t been to Elmer’s in a few years and decided to stop by this morning. The parking lot was full and we were expecting a long wait but were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away with attentive service. Serving a packed house required a team effort and this team was up to the task, really efficient in every aspect! The menu had been overhauled since our last visit and was chocked full of wonderful selections. Our breakfasts were flavorful, filling and delicious, we’ll be back for sure!

I like Elmer’s because they have pretty good food. They’re definitely a high step above Sharis or Dennys — I refuse to eat at either of these places. One thing I really like is their build-your-own omelettes. Muy sabroso. Staff is always friendly, even when they’re obviously stressed. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing — no rush to leave. Great for groups or just two. One thing I miss is the decorations they used to have. Old plates and teapots used to line the walls and now they’re bare. Our server this evening is very Christmas-y and she’s pleasant. Like this place.

Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars German pancake? With lemon and butter?! It sounds weird but it is very good. Covered with powdered sugar plus with a side of over medium eggs, crispy bacon and a glass of OJ. What more could you ask for? The pancake was very good. It was fluffy and slightly thicker than a crêpe. The bacon was very tasty. Also, a friendly service.

Excellent service. We are regulars here. We come here every sunday and have made this a weekend tradition. The food is great but its the customer service that keeps us coming back. One of the weekend manager, chelsea, is always cheerful and makes it a point to stop and talk with us and the kids.

I love this restaurant! I come here specifically for the German pancake. The food is of a much higher quality than something you would experience at a Denny’s or IHOP, for example. The waitstaff is always very courteous and friendly and there has not been one single time that I have dined in this restaurant without the manager walking by our table to find out how everything was going with our visit. For a quick little breakfast place that also serves a lunch and dinner menu at a reasonable price with a higher quality of ingredients than most other restaurants of this sort, and I recommend you stop in sometime and check them out!

I have been here twice this week and both times it was absolutely Horrible! Not really haha. The German pancake with triple berry… Out of the park!!! I could not stop making those happy mmmm mmm awesome food sounds while eating. The second time(this morning) I had the Dungeness crab Benedict. The first bite was awesome but that was it for the crab. I looked in the other one and it also had a pittance of crab. My friend who had enjoyed these before said he had much more on his. I brought it up to the manager who was awesome because she rectified the situation very quickly. They were delicious without the crab but a home run with the crab on it!!! Mmmmmm!

This is what Denny’s, iHop, Waffle House, and Applebees should be. Local chain, happy staff. Serve a variety of comfort food from the northwest. one of the breakfast specialties is German pancakes, which, if you’ve never had, you should try it. it’s more like a sweet fried flour totilla. Elmer’s does have the plastic picture menus. I try to go there as an alternative to starbucks. oh lots of parking and free wifi too.

Went here for breakfast with my wife. I had the cinnamon roll french toast which was very good, especially the crust. Probably not the healthiest, but who cares? Worth a few carbs. I also had the bacon which was alright. Nothing too special there. I suspect my wife ordered better than me, she had the german pancake which was very good and the apple sausage, the latter of which disappeared before I could try.

Happy to update my review after a few not so successful prior visits. The management truly cares about your experience, as they reached out after my review to inquire about additional details and apologized for the quality issues we encountered. I’ve rarely experienced such compassion from a restaurant and certainly not a chain(local or otherwise). They say they wish you to have a great experience and are authentic about it. We returned this past weekend and had amazing service(were checked on by the manager on duty 2 times and wait staff were accommodating and friendly). Food was far better, they’ve made some solid improvements(food was hot, cooked properly, just as we had come to expect over the decades). Elmer’s is back in our family circle of good breakfast places. Thank you Elmer’s for being consumer centric~

If you live on 99, choose Elmer’s, or Davidson’s, for your post-drink weekend morning breakfast. I highly recommend staying away from Biscuits… for various reasons. Elmer’s has phenomenal customer service. And speedy. You’ll never have to ask for water or coffee refills. And, your food is tasty, with good prices, served hot. The omelletes are all good. Mr Elmer’s or crabavocado are my faces. Fresh biscuits. Your food comes out hot. Your server is on point. This is why this Elmer’s is always packed every time I visit– because its ran like a fine oiled machine. The high ceilings capture noise, so be prepared to yell for conversation, because the din of noise is high, just based on the logistics of the building. My fav local spot for breakfast

Elmer’s Restaurants are a chain with locations predominately in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. This is a family-friendly facility with large menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner, lots of choices and at moderate prices. This location is clean, cheerful and efficient. Both Hubby and I ordered Breakfast for dinner and the food was hot and arrived at our table quickly. Our server, Sara K. was pleasant and made us feel welcome. A manager stopped by our table to ask if we were being taken care of okay and all in all, Elmer’s was a good experience for us.
