I’ve been here many times before and usually love the food but this last experience was horrible. They have a staffing problem they need to get under control. After waiting for 25 minutes to order sipping on weak coffee and mega pulp orange juice we weren’t happy with, we decided to leave. I found a better option in Sherwood so not sure if I’ll be back.

We’ve had ok experiences at this Biscuits location, but this time was ridiculous. We decided to sit outside as it was a nice day. We sat there for 25 min waiting for any sort of service. A waitress finally came out after 25 min and took the orders of two tables that were seated after us. I spoke up and said we’re ready to order and she proceeded to say ‘I know, but we’re really full right now…’ We then got up and left. Regardless of it being a nice day, their main staple is breakfast and should have enough staff available for the amounts of tables they’re seating.

Delicious food but absolutely terrible service. The server came to the table twice– once to take my order and once to bring out the food. Never came back to ask if I needed anything– waited 20 minutes for my water to be filled(which never happened). I would have asked another server but nobody came through the section the whole time. I came by myself and ended up being there 30 minutes after I was done eating just waiting for someone to come by. Seriously frustrating

Best Corn Beef Hash I’ve every had! The servers are great. Don’t care for cafeteria style. Would like to see some booths to warm up the place. Of course the biscuits are awesome!

Dissapointed in the food. Corn beef hash was dry, crisp, and tastless. The second star is because the baby red potatoes, while dry, were flavorfull and edible w/tabasco. The kids had pancakes… that’s rpretty difficult to mess up so the review is based off of my meal. I had high hopes for this place… the service was okay, my water and coffee cup never reached half full(this could be a negative because it kept throwing off my creamer/coffee ratio… but the thought was awesome). *sigh*

Great variety of food choices and fresh made foods. Service is always good and plentiful. Less of a wait to be seated at this location on the weekend compared to the El Monica location on Baseline Ave No outdoor seating here but is available on Baseline Ave.

Very good for and a good portion. For what you order. Don’t come here unless you are not willing to take food home!

You know what I love about biscuits café? Consistency in their food. I don’t go here for an amazing meal, or my next foodie adventure… I go here for basic breakfast or lunch when that is what i need. This location however is my least favorite. The staff is very impatient… My server got snarky with me that I wasn’t ready, but only gave me like 3 minutes to read the menu. They were also very crabby and didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. That’s the opposite of the experience I am used to. Hopefully this was just an off day for the Tigard location :-/

The food is great, the service is good but not exceptional. I had the Florentine Benedict, and my English muffin was really tough. When I asked for a new one, she brought it right away and apologized, which was nice. The hasbrowns are consistently amazing. I enjoy the atmosphere, it’s normally pretty quiet and calm, and the coffee is great.

Always amazing food and service. We are regulars. I love their club sandwich and their sweet potato pancakes! Oh and their biscuits are amazing!!! Try their berry mix jam! They have outdoor seating for the nice weather. They have a great deal on their breakfast menu called«Make It Simple» where you get to create your own breakfast. Such a great deal!

The food is good and the prices aren’t terrible. Except for orange juice, $ 5 bucks a large cup, really? You get a large portion of food with your order, so arrive hungry or prepare yourself for some grub. I’ve eaten here time and time again and I’ve yet to be disappointed in what I’ve ordered. Service, on the other hand… Well, there are two ladies who are awesome(Grace, and one other who’s name I can never remember). Then, there are others that always seem to have a sour look on their faces. As if they’d rather be somewhere else than there. I mean, I don’t expect you to be bubblegum cheerful but, manners, please. You know, basic courtesy? A couple of weeks ago, I didn’t appreciate how two of the«other» waitresses would gang up on the cook staff and bad mouth them. The kitchen is open air and we could hear everything. Even if there were mistakes made by the line cooks, these ladies acted inappropriately as reps of their employer.

Standard local diner. Little bit of a Hawaiin feel but you’ll see that they serve all the diner classics… and not much more. You can’t come here expecting more than a 3 star place so don’t be mad when your cup is a little dirty or the spoon has watermarks haha come here after a hangover and shut up.

This is by far the best breakfast place in the area. Beats out elmers or sharis anytime! Biscuits and gravy is so good! You must try it once!

Yuck, yuck, yuck. They have this written on the wall«we don’t serve fast food… we serve fresh food as fast as we can.» That is a total lie. I had the country benedict. The biscuits were disgusting, the sausage had no flavor and the gravy was salty but missing any true country gravy flavor. The food was all warm, nothing was hot or fresh. So not worth the 11 bucks I was charged for this disgusting meal. I did not eat more than one bite of the benedict. By far the WORST place I’ve ever had breakfast. I will never ever return again. The ONLY good part were the hasbrowns. I paid all together 20 bucks. My plate for the benedict was 10 something so rounded up to 11. My son only ate the eggs of of his plate. His bacon was burnt and he did not easy his had browns either. The worst place ever for breakfast.

Best breakfast in Tigard. Cheap, fast, delicious, what more could you ask for. You get huge servings and everything is great. I love the country fried steak and the gravy is unique in the best way. Ps. Lunch is great too.

We had just finished our move and it was early on a Sunday morning and we were sore, hungry, and our kitchen was still packed in boxes. What to do? Unilocal! We decided to try Biscuits because of the name; not really a proven method for food-finding success, but it does provide a sense of adventure. My partner was hoping the name was in reference to their mean biscuits and gravy. Well… it turns out not so much. They were surprisingly busy for so early on Sunday morning. Mostly older couples, but a few families and then a group of people came in who arrived at the same time, all driving classic cars. The atmosphere is, well, not much. It feels vaguely cafeteria-like or institutional, like a bad hospital cafeteria. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive — she deserves and earns 5 stars. This review rating is for the rest of the experience. The menu has about 87656799 choices of standard diner fare with assorted combination plate items. I ordered a Florentine Benedict(I recall there were about 4 different variations of Eggs Benedict; all were more expensive than anything else on the menu) with a side of fruit. My partner ordered biscuits and gravy with some sides of various barnyard meat and eggs with toast. We both ordered coffee. While I wasn’t expecting much for the coffee at this point, I didn’t expect it to be so watery and flavorless. There was no fresh cream — there were bowls of those little paper-top creamers on the table. Luckily our waitress could find some that had actual half-n-half so we had a choice other than the entirely artificial non-dairy sweetened ones. The food arrived quickly, and was edible. The Eggs Benedict had some sort of runny stuff that was probably supposed to be Hollandaise sauce, but looked like mucus. And they were stingy with it. The English muffins were barely warm and weren’t even properly toasted. The fruit was… well, mostly flavorless cantaloupe with a couple sad, not so firm red grapes thrown into the mix. Probably to look more like a Real Fruit Cup™ or something. The spinach was fresh! My partner’s biscuits and gravy were unextraordinary. I was bored looking at them. They were gray, and just looked sad. They tasted like spiced-up flour, with a few crumbles of vegan protein texture. I think it was supposed to be sausage. They should probably change their name, or change their game. Biscuits is so bland and unimaginative in every way. What a disappointment. They need to do away with the bad cafeteria setup, cut about 87656790 things off their menu, and reinvent themselves as an amazing breakfast place that makes something of the name«Biscuit». Uh. We likely won’t be back.

Went there for breakfast. There is a lot of food on one plate. I should of just ordered one thing and shared it. The food is priced at a little more than I’d like to pay for breakfast, but I guess that’s because it’s supposed to be organic. I probably won’t come often, but it’s has pretty good food and the staff was very friendly.

Update: We have been going there quite a lot. It is now our regular Saturday breakfast spot. The longer they are there the more the owners(Grace and her husband) pay attention to what customers want and the reviews. They have surveys that come out on a regular basis. Every item I have written about that I said needed«help» is either gone or improved from the menu. I am fairly sure others have probably seen the same. If something isn’t made to your liking they listen and will gladly fix it for you. I take back a lot of what I wrote below. The owners of this particular location really do care. It shows in how they treat you as a customer, you just need to give them a chance. We kept going back and that made all the difference in the world. Thanks to Grace and her crew for being welcoming and making great food. Oh, their burgers are to die for… melt in your mouth amazing! — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — We used to love this place. The servers recognize us now, since we go there so often, and they know what we want. Unfortunately, over the past year or so, the food quality and quantity has greatly diminished. Their best food is breakfast, and portions used to be large, but they have cut way back. My husband always gets the breakfast tacos, and he never used to be able to eat it all in one sitting. Now he can. I always get the Bacon & Egg combo with pancakes. I used to only be able to eat one of the pancakes, if that. Now I can eat both, as they are so small. Last week I went in for lunch with a friend and got the Border Patrol Melt. It is supposed to have cheese and bacon on it. Well, it did, but the it had one small piece of bacon for the entire sandwich. Cheap and poorly executed. We have started to go to another restaurant over in Beaverton for breakfast. They have huge portions and charge the same amount. My opinion is that when Biscuits franchised they took out things the patrons liked(such as pancake of the month flavor and good portions) and now it is all about the bottom dollar and more money in their pockets. I fill out the surveys when they get sent to me, but I really don’t think the owners read them or care. Slowly moving to other places to eat. If it were not for Grace, an amazing server, we would not go at all. Unilocal removed the photos I posted of the Border Patrol sandwich. «Hi there, We’re writing to let you know that we have removed your photos of Biscuits Café. Business photos and captions should be broadly representative of the business, however you’re welcome to share your personal experiences in your written review. Thanks for using Unilocal!»

AWESOME!!! My new favorite go to breakfast spot! It was my first time eating there and I love the food. Everything is apparently made organic and fresh from local stores. The pricing is reasonable and they’re very generous with their portions. Me and my girlfriend agreed that sharing was not an option before knowing how BIG the portions were. Were probably gonna share next time. The reason for the only 4 stars is because the service wasn’t all there. Having to talk to server is a make a break for me I like to engage with them and ask questions and get to know where and what I am eating. Being from Hawaii we don’t have this back home so I was very excited. She was very nice though.
