This place was a step below a dive bar. Poor karaōke Terrible food, strong drinks, a group of gangsters talking about prison behind me at the poker machine… This place was beyond creepy. The bartender was slightly aloof because we were not a regular which clearly everyone that comes here is. I told him that we found him on Unilocal. We ordered food. It was off of their nighttime menu. I don’t know if that affected the quality or not but it was terrible. Very greasy noodles with dried up pork in the pork lo mein, and the general south chicken was deep-fried chicken pieces with some sort of sticky brown goop on it. My husband went out to smoke while I played on a video game thing they have sitting on the counter that’s not a gambling machine. He was not impressed when he came back with the clientele that were out there with him. I didn’t really understand what he meant until a group of very intoxicated men who were wearing wife beaters and baggy jeans took the poker machines behind me. They started talking about how glad they were to be out and started throwing around various names of prisons that they had been to. At this point my husband looked at me and said are you ready to go and I was. On a good note the drinks were strong. But I would avoid this place in less you’re looking for a real hole in the wall greasy spoon that’s a little sketchy.

I mean… It is what it is. A dive bar, food is from the freezer, but I definitely wouldn’t expect anything more to be honest. The building is fairly dilapidated and old as crap. The service is pretty subpar to terrible. Not really my kind of place, I Like dive bars but this is the diviest in the area. Time for a remodel!

Sorry establishment of tossers. If it wasn’t for the food this place would sink. Piss poor karaōke bar coupled with awful service.

Love this place. The karaōke part of the bar is my favorite although I like the upgraded part in the back. I’ve been going here for quite some time now so I feel more comfortable in the karaōke part. The DJ and bartender are awesome and the food is ALWAYS on point. As for the drinks being«watered down» idk why someone would say that I always enjoy my drinks.

Since I’ve been coming to this location 43 yrs. I’ve seen good times and bad. To date this place is doing excellent. Responsive, and employees appear to be close friends with the owner and management! Which makes it feel like home. That is my 2cents. Merry Christmas to all!

Five star dive bar. The food is good. Get anything with pork. Its delicious. The bar is nice looking. Not quite divey but just divey enough so that you can come here in comfortable clothing and fit right in. They have 6 pool tables and plenty of people to play with on week nights as well as foosball and darts. They have music so when you hit that third drink you can dance if you want to. The left bar is where it’s at. Jadrian or jade … she pours the drinks well. By that I mean that anyone who has commented that they had drinks here and claimed that they we’re watered down probably sat there and let the ice melt and weren’t drinking correctly. In tigard we call that camping, I’m not sure where they’re from. It’s a good place to escape the 21 year somethings and have some real conversations if you want to or just not get puked on in the parking lot. Either way it’s a fun spot. Ill be back.

Might have been great in the past but now its just a sad, seedy place. The game room is huge and has two soft-tip dart boards but neither of them worked. The bored, disinterested bartender let us know that one machine was completely broken. The one machine we used didn’t record scores on dart hits. The music(we were there on a Friday night) was from a badly tuned, static-ridden radio. What a joke. After one round of drinks and a bartender that just disappeared on us, we bailed, never to return.

Good drinks and awesome crab puffs for only $ 2.50!!! Bartenders are very friendly and attentive to your needs. They also have multiple pool tables which is a plus. I must say though the outdoor seating/smoke area needs a remodel/upgrade.

Our drinks tasted super watered down. Didn’t enjoy it, didn’t even get s buzz ;and I’m super light weight. It’s not a one start because of decent customer service. We went on a Saturday night, it was quite chill; not very crowed. Somewhat younger crowd.

Very poor service! It was about 10 pm and we stopped in for a drink and some food. We were not greeted and found a table and waited about 5 minutes before we finally saw a bartender eating and approached the bar. We waited up there for a few minutes and eventually they put their food down and approached us. We asked for some food but was told it would be awhile as the cook was at the store shopping. I asked if they had any micro brews because they have signs advertising that they do. They are in the other bar and that’s closed she told us. Then a drunk ass walks up and grabs my girlfriends shirt and starts lifting it up and says hey baby. Granted he was a fat old man but still totally un called for! The bartender saw the whole thing go down and didn’t say a word to the guy or his friends! Won’t ever go back to this hell hole again and recommend you stay away as well!

This place is fine for what it is. There’s old grumpy people and young annoying people, just like everywhere else. But there is more good than bad for sure. However the bartenders are great and people too, so be respectful and you shall get respect back(it’s quite simple). All three kj’s are great at their jobs. The food is OK. Prices are fair(as in good)! Um… I’d go here before any other place within a 20+ mile radius for karaōke . Also the negative comments on here recently are from people who have been 86’d for being inconsiderate drunks and killing a good vibe. I’m personally happy they won’t be coming back. But i do hope they find something useful in life to do, besides creating accounts on Unilocal just to be negative and vindictive. #sad

I go into Lu’s mostly to play on their lottery machines. Both of the lady daytime bartenders are absolutely fantastic and make me feel wanted and welcome. They are happy to make me drinks to my very picky specifics. The guys who work at night are both good looking ;) and great bartenders! They go out of their way to make sure everyone is taken care of. Thanks for the great service!

Lu’s is a great place to karaōke, hangout with friends, play pool and other games. I go there often and always have a great time. Foods delicious, drinks are good, bartenders are awesome. I have taken my 72 year old grandma here for drinks and she loved the place! I am not an employee of Lu’s.

My co-worker and I absolutely LOVE Lu’s food! We get food here at least once a week and so close to work too. Sweet & Sour Chicken is one of the best in town and their Kung Pao is SO flavorful and not too spicy. I don’t like food so spicy that I can’t enjoy the flavor and this is perfect! We usually order ahead and bring it back to the office. The food is NEVER cold and always nice and hot too(temperature)! The service there is awesome and everyone is so nice there and attentive. I think maybe a couple of times I’ve had to wait maybe 3 mns for the order to finish once I got there to pick up. It’s fun to eat there too. It is kind of dark but what do you expect from a bar… who cares? As long as the food is great! And the lunch price…$ 4.95! They do NOT hold back from the portions either! Been going here for at least 6 months and have never been disappointed. Great fried rice as well!

Lu’s is amazing. The food is great, I would not expect it but is definitely the best Chinese in the area. The bar is classic and being ran very well, there is also a huge billiards area. It has changed drastically in the last year to a place with inexpensive good food, 64oz party bowls and all of Tigards characters to entertain.

Great place. We came here from Tucson, AZ and stopped in because of a Groupon we found. The service from Erin was fantastic. We ordered fish and chips which is pretty standard anywhere you go, it was good here. Another person ordered sweet and sour chicken which she liked. The atmosphere seemed enjoyable tho there wasn’t much going on when we arrived early. This is a place I’d definitely come back to when I return to Portland!

It’s a shame. This place has poor management. It has so much potential. There are plenty of pool tables with ping pong, darts, air hockey etc. Karaōke is fun too. The problems are: they say they close at 2:30am but after 2am people don’t seem welcome; they close off the majority of the bar space after midnight and force everyone into the karaōke lounge; many staff drink off shift; there are buss tubs exposed next to a booth so when you sit you sit next to dirty dishes; underneath the buss tub is an industrial vacuum; there’s a guy who is constantly underfoot and hovering over everyone as if customers are an annoyance; the karaōke jockeys are frequently busy doing everything except making sure karaōke runs smoothly; food is boring and dated. The space has such potential and consistently disappoints. I suggest this place find an identity and start running like an actual business because at this rate Lu’s will change ownership soon.
