I’ve been a Mario’s customer for years. Today my Mom who is wheelchair bound fell so I ran in to ask for help and a young man Josue without hesitation came help. Human connection is an amazing thing. I will be a life long shopper. Thank you for hiring quality people.

Mario’s has a nice selection of designer clothes an they just added Prada to the list of well known designers. Now that Saks has closed it’s location it’s very difficult to find really good designer wear for those of us interested in high end fashion. Anyway, this location is a bit small compared to their location in downtown Portland but nonetheless it’s still got a solid stock of notable wear. If you are looking for something designer, definitely check out Mario’s, Nordstrom, or Off 5th as these are the only notable stores with designer wear in the Portland area. The staff at this location was very friendly and offered us some sparkling water as my friend and I shopped. She eventually got a pair of Christian Louboutin high heels. Overall, Mario’s gave us a nice shopping experience.

Here’s the deal… My wife is always telling me to spoil myself and buy nice clothes(jeans, polo shirts)…my mom always said you get what you pay for… with that said I cannot come to grips with buying expensive clothes… I could rock a t shirt, shorts, and flip flops all day. Even if I rolled up in a $ 100k car I would rock that outfit, could care less about the brand and price of clothes. The other thing with fancy European clothes is the cut… XL is not XL… XL is more like smedium… I’m a big guy, athletic type with big shoulders and thighs… I need to find a XXL just to try on. So for me, I have to pass. Why the 4 stars? Staff is super friendly and really does try to help with sizes. They also have really nice stuff if you want to spend the $. Can’t bag on a store that caters to a certain clientele.

If you have some serious coin burning a hole in your pocket, get yourself to Mario’s. And then go ahead and buy me a pair of jeans while you’re at it. The staff is friendly and accommodating whether you’re just browsing or in for a wardrobe overhaul. I was especially impressed by the range of brands: AG Jeans, Rag and Bone, Seven for all Mankind, Christian Louboutin, and more. Styles are current — including classic LBDs, comfy sweaters and my spring fave, colored denim. Beyond the clothing and shoes, be sure to check out the small selection of books, perfume and accessories. Mario’s is a lovely store that I would definitely check out again.

Meh for me, the womens selection wasn’t interesting enough to come back to this location, but the sales staff was nice. They have the regular culprit designer jeans here(but why buy at Marios when the items are already half off or more at Off 5th, a short walk away). Some Vince, Rag & Bone, Inhabit, and Cynthia Steffe were the womens brands I noticed carried here. Nothing that I found compelling, even at a sale price. The shoes were a little more intriguing(Prada, Lanvin, Louboutin, etc.) — but not enough of a selection available — I’d rather just shop online.
