I have been several times over the last four or five years. This was my family’s go-to place when we were in the area(which was not that often). The pizza used to be some of the best I’d ever had. The quality slowly declined and we were in the area less and less. I also heard the place was put on the market. A few weeks ago, I was in the area visiting a friend and we decided to visit on an early Sunday afternoon. When I walked in I discovered management had changed. There were no more servers, but rather someone who just took the order up front, you sat down, and then they brought you the drinks and food. It was a weird overall concept, and I decided to tip regardless. Also, the TVs were removed from the restaurant. My friend and I both ordered pizzas and they were delicious. She was glad that I had recommended the place, as she never realized it was there(even though she lives in the area). Unfortunately with the exception of one other party that was finishing up as we arrived, there was no one else in the restaurant the entire time we were there. The problem with this location is that it is hidden in a plaza that is not easily seen on the road, and the Tilt’n Diner is constantly busy and more clearly visible. I will have to visit a couple more times to see if the pizza is consistently good, but it was a great first visit back, and I hope the new management works out well! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the mood for pizza! UPDATE: I went back to visit again with another friend. Not as impressed as before. The pizza was still good, but the owner is extremely rude. He refused to let us bring water bottles into the restaurant because we had buy them from him apparently. The Tilton tap water is disgusting and I’m not spending $ 2 or $ 3 on a bottle of water when I’m already buying pizza from your restaurant. And we are literally the only people there the entire time. I will go one more time and if he refuses to sell me pizza when I bring in my own water, then he’s the one losing business. Downgraded to 3 stars for the not so friendly environment.

What happened to this place. New owners Now cheap cold cuts in the grinders. Different bread. Changed recipes on pizza I’ve been eating for 10 years. Don’t deliver to my house anymore. You have lost a loyal customer

Pizza was good, and it came out pretty quickly. The dough was soft and not too thin or too thick. I also ordered a Greek salad. It was only alright. It looked clean inside with several booths and tables. You order at the counter, but then the staff will deliver your food and bus the table.

We stopped in for lunch and ordered pizza and some appetizers. Everything was fresh and tasted great. We have moved back to the area and have had a hard time finding good places to eat. This is a 40 minute drive for us, but definitely worth the drive for fresh, delicious pizza!

Food wasn’t that great. I order the cheese ravioli and when I got it, and start eating you can see it was water, and realize the ravioli was frozen and thaw out kinda and the tomatoes sauce taste like it was from the can. I didn’t mind as I was hungry coming from laconia during bike week. But what bothers me, being in customer services, is the person who was taking the order and serving, was just standing around? Playing with her hair and staring, at time, at my table. She mad it seems so boring. I think you might only want to order pizza there and no other dishes/food from there.

I thought with a new owner I’d have something better to say than earlier reviews but I don’t. Food was nothing special. Take out was efficient. There so much better to choose from in the area.

Great experience here. We chose to come here over the Common Man tiltin diner which is nearby because they were so crowded and we knew they would have a long wait time. At upper crust, we had a short wait time and got hot yummy food! Bacon pineapple pizza was great and you can tell its fresh real ingredients. Boyfriend got a buffalo chicken sub which was also great. Overall bill was reasonable and we were in and out quicker than a wait at the Tiltin Diner. 5 stars for sure.

My family and I stopped here after a day of shopping and had an excellent pizza. We just had plain cheese but it ha a lot more flavor than the chain pizza places. They were quick too, I arrived before my pizza was ready and they got it to me right away. A good deal for a great pizza.

I eat here whenever I am in the area at mealtime. My favorite is their Antipasto, which has everything in it that should be there. Last night I had their special which was cheese ravioli with pesto and included a generous sized salad. It was as good as anything I have eaten in expensive Italian restaurants. The bread is fresh. The people there seem genuinely interested in you enjoying your meal.

Aweful service. We stop quickly for a takeout order. The guy working at the register was a total idiot and quite unfriendly. It was very difficult for him to understand the concept that we were ordering one sub, to share… Once he finally figured it out, he then was very confused about our request of «no black olives» — I assumed he had it figured out when he correctly repeated it back to me… but sure enough when we got our sub, it had nothing BUT black olives on it. So when I returned it, he was a total jerk about it, and continued to talk badly about us in the kitchen, which I totally heard through the order window. Guy was a total jerk, and I have no idea whey he is in the service industry. I would never go back, and never recommend anyone going to that dump.

We wandered in for no better reason than we saw the sign when we got off the highway looking for lunch and would rather eat local than chain fast food. We were so glad we did — the antipasto appetizer is really a salad, with lots of lettuce, but a good selection of antipasto toppings and a delicious italian dressing served on the side. It was plenty for five people. But the star was the pizza. We got the three-cheese(O Sole Mio, I think). The sauce and crust were delicious, a must in my book, and the cheese was plentiful — altogether a perfect pizza experience. It was served piping hot on a little pizza stand(good since the tables are small). Service was friendly, if not overly fast for a pizza joint. The bathroom was adequate, but clearly there is a rust issue with the water and I think they’ve just given up on dealing with the rust stains in the sink and toilet.

Pizza is good but not great if you ask me, and definitely overpriced. The clear number one choice for pizza in the area is Tilton House of Pizza, not Upper Crust. I will say that the cannoli’s and the Upper Crust root beer are excellent, Pizza should be the main attraction

Good pizza. Not Greek style, not NY style but something in between. Good service. Only negative is bathroom trash was overflowing and toilet needed a good scrubbing.

The cannoli is great absolutely great. Not too sugary very crispy not soggy at all. The great thing about this establishment is the political debates with everyone you bring. You may ask why are they so frequent, these debates. It is because Fox News is on 24/7, every time you go in it is on. The arguments of politics abound at this little pizzeria.
