So sad to write my first negative review ever! We live local and have heard this was a hidden gem… We decided to order take out tonight to give it a try. First of all — we saw a $ 10 discount on their website for signing up with a new email. The page it linked to wasn’t working and when we inquired on the phone, we were told no manager was at the restaurant to help… Odd??? But they suggested to try it again on our«next» order. Long story short: I posted a picture above of their«classic dinner of chicken Giovanni», chicken topped with eggplant, roasted red peppers and goat cheese… for $ 18.00. The small amount that was there tasted pretty good(I think it was the sauce) but we are VERY disappointed! I can’t believe it was even approved to leave the kitchen.

This place is a hole in the wall, blink and you miss it as you drive by. We would never have known it were here had someone not told us, and given us a gift cert( — can get $ 25 for only $ 4 here at times). Glad we found it– the food was great and the service was excellent! The four of us each had chicken dishes and were all pleased with them. The food is Italian but they also have bar food apps. The funnel cake fries for dessert are a Must!!! One side(Eddies Place) is more like a regular restaurant and the other side(Luigis) has a bar but also has booths where we ate our dinner, with TVs over the bar playing football games, etc. Very pleased we found a cute, cheap place to eat so close to home.

Ordered takeout from here the other day and got a pizza, mozzarella sticks, rigatoni bolognese, and artichoke francaise. The pizza was pretty good. Not spectacular, but better than a lot of places in the area. Mozzarella sticks were also good, but not great. The artichoke francaise is very strong on the lemon… but I loved that! I finished the sauce with a spoon, not gonna lie. The real deal was the bolognese sauce, though. There was a lot of pasta in the container and I almost would have never finished it, but that sauce is so wonderfully flavored and creamy… I would order a container of sauce on it’s own!

This is a very good spot off the beaten track with Half price pasta Monday and Thursday. Half price pizza Tuesday. I think the food is excellent and large portions. Enough for lunch the next day too. They have an excellent salad for two. Highly recommend it. Give it a try you will be delighted.

Worst place ever!!! I ordered a «White Pie» with several expensive toppings to go. Got it home and it had red sauce under the cheese. NOT A WHITEPIE!!! Please don’t go here and tell your friends that they have no idea how to make a pizza!!! In addition to the pie being made that people with food allergies can’t eat, the crust was soggy and floppy… Sort of like a wet noodle. You could not hold a slice in your hand without the thing flopping down and all of the topping sliding off.

Came here for dinner last night with the family and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The service is rather slow but our server was very nice. Started out with the calamari which was tasty but we like to eat our calamari with cocktail sauce and when we asked the server for some, she said they don’t have it. ??? Salad and bread were just ok. Monday nights is 2 pizzas for $ 12 and half price pasta night. The pizza was pretty good. I had a cavatelli, broccoli, chicken and roasted red pepper dish that was very good with big hunks of garlic. Would definitely come back but maybe not with the kids, since this isn’t a very large place.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a new restaurant with alcoholic beverages; Kelly’s is a decent stand by, but we thought we’d try a new place. Amazed at the 4 ½ star rating — maybe the reviewers had a few stiff drinks before they ate. Let me say, the drinks were well made, and pushed the review to 2 stars. Bread and salad weren’t bad, but entrees were truly weak. The chicken in white wine sauce with artichoke, spinach, and roasted peppers was watery and flavorless. The eggplant parmigiana was pedestrian at best. The food is about what you’d expect at a take out pizza joint, no better. This is a family place, meaning loud children. I wanted to like this joint; Robert Irvine, where are you?

A small little joint with next to nobody there, my date and I walked in and where instantly seated. Presented with a menu we glanced over it quickly before ordering up. He went for the Lasagna and I chose the Chicken Vino Bianco. Paired with this we ordered up a glass of Pinot Noir. Serves was fast and attentive. Delicious homemade bread was presented before us followed shortly by a house salad and wine. The salad was a standard House salad with a nice balsamic dressing. Our entrees were brought out shortly after that. The portion sizes were indeed generous and delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the veggies with it were delightful. The Lasagna however was the stand out seeing as it was absolutely DELICIOUS. Overall a great experience and would definitely love to retrun

I hate reviewing this place because I don’t want anyone to find it. But in all fairness I must. My husband and I re-discovered Luigi’s Tavern and Eddie’s during Sandy last year. We always liked the bar. But not fans of food. So stopped going for years. Well the food is really good now. We go at least once a week. We love the bar and staff. Restaurant staff is great too. I am local and it is a must to try!!!

Just went here with my husband & daughter & used a coupon. The food was really good. The artichokes franchaise & hot wing apps were delicious. We shared an amazing house salad for 2 that could feed 4. I had the veal with mushrooms & prosciutto & my husband had the chicken Alonzo. Both were really tasty, but my only complaint is that there was way too much sauce on

We went here last night using a paid coupon. When we first pulled in, it was difficulty determining if this was the right place as there was absolutely no signage indicating that this was Eddie’s Place. From the outside, it looks like an old, run-down pub that serves food. If it wasn’t for the prepaid coupon that we had, we probably would never have stepped inside. Since we prepaid, we decided to give it a try. When we walked in, it was actually quite nice. The business is a bar and that leases out the floor space to Eddie’s Place. The bar and restaurant is nicely decorated and seemed clean. So far so good. We spoke with the floor manager about the lack of signage and he said that this was because the bar owner was not allowing them to put a sign outside. I actually find this to be an indication that the owner of Eddie’s Place was a bit naïve in not ensuring that they could display proper signage out front when they signed their contact. We started with the calamari as an appetizer. It was tasty and was cooked perfectly. The sauce was delicious. However we noticed that they did not serve the head part of the calamari. When we asked, the waitress said that the chef does this intentionally as some diners do not like the head part. This is strike two regarding the naivety of the owner as most people love this part of the calamari. The bread was very good. It is homemade however they should have offered us another loaf when we finished the first loaf. Then came the salad. The salad was just okay. It is served family style with a vinegar-based dressing. The dressing was good and so was the serving size. However they served lettuce that was brown on the edges. Overall the salad was disappointing. Then came the main dishes. I ordered a NY strip steak and it was amazing. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My wife’s tilapia and shrimp dish was equally perfect. Overall service was very good and the waitress was very attentive. They constantly refilled the water to a point that it started being irritating. Every 5 – 10, minutes they walked by with a water pitcher and kept asking do we need water. Sorry but no need to ask or announce yourself — just fill the glass if needed and don’t announce yourself. Overall, we were very satisfied and will be back.

Eddies Place is the Place to be! We have been trying out new places and had no idea what to expect except from their website. I had gone for dinner on a Wednesday night with my boyfriend and 10year old daughter. We had the option of sitting in the dining room or in the bar, my daughter saw that there were«cool» booths in the bar and insisted we sit there. With some reservation I agreed. The music was loud, which I actually liked a lot. It was from a jute box so it wasn’t on all night but still it was fun for us. We were greeted by our waitress Paula who was beyond nice and attentive. There were also a few nice guys who constantly kept our table clear of used plates and made sure each course was brought out fresh and hot. We were given fresh focaccia bread and some soft pipetted butter to start, always a great notification of things to come, mostly because the bread was soft, yet crispy like it should be and perfectly warmed! We started with some appetizers. We decided we really liked the wings because they were flavored with seasonings and not your typical hot sauce doused in butter. We also werent sure but we thought the mozzarella sticks were homemade, they were delicious. For our entrees we both had chicken dishes. They were delicious, my daughter had a pizza which also was great. Thin crust, quality sausage and just the right amount of cheese. We also had dessert which was yum, chocolate cake, cheesecake and the lava cake. All were delicious! If you are looking for an uptight swanky, stuffy joint keep looking. If you want to keep it real, go have a great meal with good service that has that neighborhood feel… well you should check it out! I definitely will go back. They have specials listed on their website and a great selection of beers and wines so it looks like it may have a good happy hour too. My daughter LOVED it as well as my boyfriend. We are all picky in certain ways, all in all we gave it a 10 as a whole.
