Not Dano’s any more. went there some months ago and now it is Carmine’s. Not sure if same owner as the one in Asbury. We were disappointed with this resto. had been going to Dano’s a long time and sure do miss the food, especially the rigatoni bolognese.

I really like this restaurant. It’s kind of a dive bar in front and when you walk back it attempts to be a romantic getaway in Tinton Falls. The food is really good. I don’t know what it is about the northeast however — it’s hard to find a good solid baby spring mix salad. I don’t think it exists… so I won’t knock Dano’s for trying to make the best of regular lettuce.
They have pretty good specials — a few days ago I ordered a grilled chicken foccacia sandwich. Yum! Worth a visit.
