Luigi’s Tavern

Honestly, the worst food we ever ordered. Pizza was delivered ice cold and the cheese on the pizza wasn’t even cooked! So disappointing. I honestly don’t understand how people could give good reviews. Must be friends of the owner!

We ate at Luigi’s Sunday (¹²⁄₇). Our server was Rylan. He provides great service, is a nice guy and very attentive. He’s also knowledgeable about the menu items.
My girlfriend ordered veal and I ordered steak. We both thought the food was good, but needs improvement. My thick steak could have been more tender.
The portions are large and the included salad is a big one and was full of crisp lettuce and many other items like tomatoes, olives and onions. Their house dressing is delicious.
We also ordered hot wings and enjoyed them before our dinner came out.
I will go again… maybe the steak will be more tender. Give Luigi’s a try-​you won’t be disappointed.

Hole in the wall stop. Little outdated but that’s what makes this place great. Great service and the food is always good. Wings and a must at this joint…

When me and my friends got here the dining room was pre booked for a Party already but was not a problem at all for us. We sat at the bar across from the dining area that is separate from the bar area, totally different room :) the service was great, one lady behind the bar was on her P’s and Q’s the whole time. Running the bar and taking care of us :) She took our order at the bar and was a pleasant person, our food came in no time. Maybe a 15min wait for 3 orders but we had a tasty homemade vinaigrette, sauce salad to keep us satisfied while waiting:) When the food came it was delicious I had the seafood pasta which had muscles, clams, and shrimp init. The sauce had to be homemade as well! My GFs had pasta too and needed to go boxes:) TVs, watched the final four basketball game while eating in an enjoyable environment. Oh and idk if they still have it going on but Tuesday’s and Thursday’s were half priced pasta! Whenever I’m back in New Jersey I’ll def eat here again.

Worst pizza ever! Stay away!

It sucked. Hands down. Came here for an after-​pass after a wake, waited three hours for food; I ordered the veal francaise only to be give two TINY pieces. Won’t come back again. The three stars is for the fact we had more people come than expected and they were able to accommodate all of us.

Went there several times already, food is fantastic, service is very good and the overall atmosphere is your average Tavern with really cool people, highly recommend this place. Do not be fooled by the location and look of the building that was what kept me out but now that I have been there I will keep going back.

ate here on my most recent trip to the homeland. loved it! individual pizza (would be a medium in most restaurants) had great crust and fresh toppings. chicken parm was delicious, cooked perfectly with great sauce. lasagna was loaded with meat and cheese — very tasty. large portions. reasonably priced. good jukebox music. i like the atmosphere in the bar side rather than the restaurant, but the food’s the same on either side
