Applebee’s

This place has gone from mediocre to below average throughout the years. The service was not the greatest and it was not even busy when I last went.
My friend and I did the 2 for $ 20 which comes with two entrees and an appetizer. Dessert might’ve been included as well but we skipped it.
We got the spinach dip and it was so artificial and bland, served with the thinnest chips ever that after a few bites we stopped eating. She ordered a pasta that had three petite slices of chicken on it. I ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp. I love creole food and was very disappointed by the lack of flavor that was presented on my plate. Not to mention, I ordered shortly after my friend and received my food very, very late.
The only reason this location gets two stars is because of the drinks. I love Long Islands and for .50 cents more you can order rhem flavored with strawberry or raspberry. My friend said her ‘perfect’ margarita was not perfect but I would definitely go back just to sit at the bar for a Long Island.

Oh this place was great, came here to have dinner with my friend. Our waitress was very nice and kept checking back to make sure everything was good. the whole atmosphere was great.

Couldn’t even get a hostess to seat us. Walked in @ 8:30pm, many empty tables, several servers walked nearby, 2 bartenders not very busy. Not one person acknowledged us, no hostess any where. 2 people were waiting when we walked in so we asked if they were waiting to be seated, they stated they had spoken to a hostess. We wait another minute or so and we agree that we will probably receive poor service at our table (whenever we get one) so we leave…

the place is fine… but the menu has changed so much since ihop bought it…

Unimpressed. First off, i will say that we have been to applebee’s NUMEROUS times and absolutely enjoyed ourselves. but this experience was enough to make us not want to go back to this particular location. at least, it was for us. ANYWAYS
1. we walk in, they sit us. as soon as they sit us, the waitress asks us for drinks. She brings us our drinks, then she tells us their computers are down, and a heads up but we will be waiting for a while. BUT she said she could put our orders in, they will make our food but we will be waiting for a while so they can process our payment. When i asked how long, she said she didnt know because it has never happened before.
2. she hung around for QUITE a bit, almost persuading us to stay so she can put the food order in. We told her we needed time to decide if we wanted to eat here if we had to wait. she lingered and then finally left.
3. we decided to stay since we spoke with the manager and she said if we paid with cash then we wouldnt be waiting at all.
4. still waiting for our server. contemplating leaving because its been about 25 minutes since we DECIDED to stay and she is just across the room having fun with her coworkers.
5. boyfriend gets up and tells her we are ready. we both order a steak with veggies and baked potato

FOOD:
my steak was very fatty and had a lot of gristle in it. was hard to chew, vegetables were barely steamed, and had no flavor. all i pretty much ate was the ½ of the baked potato. we paid, and left. the waitress NEVER filled our waters. or even checked on us.

I don’t know anybody who hasn’t visited an Applebee’s so I’ll just put it this way: it’s a classic, well run Applebee’s. The menu is typically mediocre with nothing astounding on it; it’s all very basic «American» food. This location does it well, though, and has a nice atmosphere. The late night hours are a nice bonus, also.

Wait staff was nice, had no problems there.
But the food is miserable, I think I might be a better cook,
And I’m a college Student who lives on a strict budget of beer and ramen
Bar is nice though, drinks were a tad bit expensive,
good place for an appetizer with that night drink special

This review is strictly about the service.
We went in here late night just to grab a bite to eat. It was probably close to 1030-​11 (so a couple hours before closing). We ordered a bunch of appetizers (half-​off). About 15 minutes after our orders were put in, our waitress came back to tell us that they ran out of Steak Quesadilla Towers and Chicken Wonton tacos, which 4 people from our group ordered.
After changing our orders, the food came out but was served by 3 people– none of which were our waitress. I hate when the food is brought out by people other than our waiter, especially with a large group because it always takes a while to figure out who has what. The waitress should just bring the food and give it to the person who ordered it.
So with that in mind, a bunch of us had ordered wings but all the orders that came out were wrong (except 2 orders). Everything else was the wrong type (boneless vs bone in) or the wrong sauce. When we told the servers that 5 of the wing orders were wrong, they acted all annoyed as if it was our fault the orders were brought out incorrectly. So most of the people in our group just took the orders that were the right sauce but wrong type. We were left with one order of wings that was completely wrong so we asked for it to be redone. We ended up having to ask 3 different people and waiting until everyone else had finished eating before we finally got the last order.
And with all that, they didn’t give us anything to make up for the mess ups. Overall, not my best experience there but then again, I have to say it’s not the worst either!

Pleasant wait staff. Food was very well prepared and reasonably priced. The 550 calorie menu is very good. Add a dessert shooter and you’re set! I would come back.

for a chain restaurant this place is not bad. the burger was amazing, and the service was quick even with it being fairly busy.
