Great tasting doughnuts at a very reasonable price. I asked the owner about use of animal fats and he verbally confirmed that he only uses vegetable oils in his doughnuts.

Went there yesterday for the first time to get the dozen special for $ 5.99. (6p-​9p) Omg… the donuts are amazing! Some of the best me and my son have ever had. Very fresh and great taste!
The owner wasn’t very personable, but he could have just been tired or had a bad day, so that wasn’t a problem.
We will definitely be going back!

Best donut shop in Toledo. Fresh, tasty, never had a bad donut there to date, and we’ve been coming here for over eleven years. The owners are super sweet and always friendly. You can smell their donuts across the street. Their coffee is hit or miss, but it never stops us from going there. If i’m not mistaken, their donuts sell for $ 5.99 a dozen between 6−9pm, regularly $ 8.99/dozen (other than specialty ones). Speaking of which, their apple fritters and Cronuts are ridiculously addictive. Beats any «gourmet» donut in town. Five stars hands down for their donuts; coffee and sandwiches are okay, but don’t let that stop you from trying this mom and pop shop! Definitely A Toledo staple.

I loved this donut shop! Today was my first visit and I know this will be my first choice in the future. It’s personal and quaint… it reminds you that Toledo isn’t such a big place after all. Though located on busy Monroe St. it’s cozy and clean!
We came in later in the day and everything we ordered (4 donuts) were all very fresh and presentable.
The cashier was nice and helpful…
Cant wait to return and try more pastries!

Well, I know this may seem unfair… but this looked to be the best option for dough nuts in West Toledo. I mean, they were good – don’t get me wrong – but I have a hard time seeing any value over any other dough nut shop.

Café Donuts is the mecca of the Toledo donut scene; it should be immortalized and people should take a pilgrimage from all over to taste what Café Donuts has to offer.
I highly recommend the blueberry, buttermilk, double choc, and sour cream donuts and all their fritters. Everything is delicious here! If they’re warm, they’re even 10x better.
My favorite part, though, are the owners Bill and Angie… get to know them, they’re AWESOME!

I’ve never been to the café itself but my coworker lives in Toledo and will bring us donuts from Café Toledo every now and then. Those are very special days indeed!
The apple fritter is my favourite! Even after travelling 45 min to Ann Arbor, it’s always fresh and delicious. Maybe one day I’ll go to Toledo so I can eat one fresh out of the oven.

There comes a time in every man’s (or woman’s) life when he must decide whether that donut is worth the extra poundage on his frame. These donuts are ALWAYS worth it. They are made fresh every morning and their taste truly reflects that. Skip the grocery store donuts and fast food breakfast and head to Café Donuts; sugary, delectable bliss awaits you.

Family owned/​operated Café Donuts is a gem! The delicious menu (especially the breakfast sandwiches), quality food @ fair prices (different from the chains), & warm/​friendly hospitality make it understandable why the «regulars» love to gather there. I absolutely love Café Donuts! It’s a family owned business and they always treat every customer like family too. They are super friendly! Always throwing in some extra goodies for my children and I. The donuts are always fresh and delicious! The best I have ever eaten! My all time favorite being the maple frosted. YUM! I love coming in and seeing all of the regulars enjoying their coffee and donuts. It puts you in a great mood! They make excellent bagel sandwiches too! Definitely give them a try, you won’t be sorry… unless you are trying to watch your figure! :)
