IHOP

i went here last week and man was it terrible. the food was great, but getting your credit card charged for 10 bucks more than the receipt said is not good.
especially when you leave a cash tip.

Ein Frühstücks-​Restaurant (auch wenn man hier ebenso zu Mittag und zu Abend essen kann), das vor allem für seine Frühstücksangebote wie Waffeln, Pfannkuchen, Crepes, Omelettes und dergleichen steht.
Habe nichts großartiges zu meckern, das Essen war durchaus nicht schlecht, reißt einen aber auch nicht von den Socken.

Great IHOP and they are open everyday including Christmas and Thanksgiving!

I’ve been to ihop plenty of times. Me and my boyfriend favor the Philly cheese steak sandwich and fries.
So we went here after a movie with his brother and girlfriend last night.
The 3 stars is strictly for the food. It was good and exactly what we wanted. However his brother and gf got pancakes and eggs. They didn’t make her eggs the way she wanted and by the time they brought it out the right way, she was done eating. FAIL. And they didn’t take it off the bill. His pancakes were super dry and he couldn’t finish them. No amount of syrup helped.
Our waiter, Derrick … was ridiculous. He dropped his pen on top of my boyfriend which is not so bad but it set off the night. He brought our waters but not the lemon we ordered with it. When he returned to take our order, I mentioned the lemons before ordering and he went to get the lemons, I yelled for him saying «wait…we’re ready to order first» he said no he will be right back… and left for like 5 minutes… got the lemons. And when we ordered our Philly sandwiches he tried to up sale our waters (which I understand cause I used to be a waitress) but he sold me a crazy story about would we want Pepsi because it compliments our sandwiches and the acid in the Pepsi brings out the flavor of our meat. I looked at him like «wtf? «I must be stupid or look stupid or something. He wouldn’t drop it til I said I didn’t like Pepsi.
He just kept becoming annoying…
Then he brought our food and never gave us silverware. Or napkins. So I had to wait to ask him. He never refilled our waters. And as soon. As he delivered our food he set the check down and instead of just leaving, he stood there and went into a speech on how he can take our payment now. Finally he left when he realized we were ignoring him so we could eat instead of pull out our wallets.
When asked a question, he completely ignored the question to talk to someone else at our table about some crazy thing that we didn’t ask for.
Also, everything we asked for he brought to the table one at a time. Not all in one trip. So there was plenty of trips made to the table while we waited for our complete request.
Then when the couple we were with said «oh wow. I think 17 dollars is the cheapest bill we had for eating out together» he said «that’s cause you never had a server like me before» and did some sort of dance like move.
At the expense of me rolling my eyes, I paid the bill. and left no tip. And walked out.
I was a server before. I’m generous with tipping but I’m also critical. I know what you’re supposed to do. And I felt like he was just ridiculous. I think they left him a dollar.
I definitely won’t want him again. And if I ever end up with him, I will request another table.

Nice atmosphere and clean place. Went twice. First time we went, I wanted crepes but apparently they were out. So I got some French toasts with berries. It was surprisingly good. The second time we went I got the strawberry vanilla crepes. It was awful. It was filled with cream cheese and there wasn’t any of the frosted vanilla swirl on the crepes at all. From I heard from the waiter, they got a new cook…

Hit or miss, mostly miss. Eggs the size of a robin’s. Forgotten items, good pancakes. With tip I spent $ 20 for breakfast for myself and 3 year old; what a joke. I should have known better, it happens each time I’ve been there. Would have been better served at a non-​chain rest.

I read another review about this Ihop while I was sitting down already and wished I would’ve got up and left. I had been to this Ihop before but it was later at night like 9 or 10 pm and it was wonderful. But if you are going to go at normal hours of the day like 10am-​12pm, then I would pick another establishment. The service was awful. It took forever to get a few pancakes and our waitress didn’t check on us at all. Sometimes people get thirsty waiting for over 30 minutes for their pancakes.
