This place is the WORST service. I called an hour ahead to have a pizza ready for an hour later. I arrive a couple minutes after the hour and the woman at the Counter asks me to wait 10 minutes, with no reason why. As I am waiting every customer that comes to the counter is being showed their orders which were all wrong. One person even walked out. There was one woman at the counter barley paying attention to the customers waiting. As I finally received my order 20 minutes after I arrived the woman at the counter told me they NEVER made my order. I will NEVER go to this place again. Management really needs to have an intervention at this place as this place.

This place was terrible. I hate to give these types of reviews to locally owned places but I have never been anywhere with such poor service and distrust for their customers. We waited almost 20 mins to receive our WATERY spaghetti with meat sauce and two meat ball sandwiches. The only issue is that, only one meatball sandwich came out and they had lost the ticket for the other one. My colleague had to ask three different people for his sandwich because no one would make it and the woman working the front desk was out taking a smoke break and therefore could not confirm if we had bought one or not. A 15 minute adventure, turned into almost an hour while trying to figure out where our food was, who was responsible for making it and when we expected to receive it. Also, what pizza places only has PACKS of ranch and not actual ranch? This is the Midwest isn’t it… All in all, save your money and your time and go to Subway or Burger King on the street because this places is a mess.

They do have real good pizza. I did not give them five stars because of the service. I saw people with chappy attitudes and a worker told my wife and I that the gelato was from…“Germany or somewhere like that I think.” Those were he exact words. Needless to say I don’t go to this location anymore.

This location has a serious issue with their delivery service. The last time we ordered delivery and actually got it, they forgot to bring something. Last time we tried to get delivery, there was no delivery that day because the driver didn’t come in(it wouldn’t even let you place a delivery order online, so we called the store and this is what we were told). Today, I placed an order online for delivery at 1:57 pm. The website accepted my order and said normal delivery time is 45 – 55 minutes. At 3:20, we still had no pizza, so I called the store. The person I spoke with informed me that they didn’t have a driver until after 4:00. Nobody had even attempted to contact me to tell me this. Did they really think it was ok to wait until after 4:00 to deliver an order that had been placed 2 hours earlier(at which time, I would’ve been gone anyway)??? So my order had been ready and sitting there for god only knows how long. I ended up going and picking it up because I was trying to eat before I had to leave for work. The guy had a hard time redoing the charges so I didn’t pay the $ 3 delivery fee for the pizza I had to pick up, and I ended up standing in the store for almost 10 minutes. Got home to wolf down a little bit, since now I had only 10 minutes to eat before I had to leave to work, and it would’ve been a lot better if it hadn’t been sitting in their window for however long. Don’t get me wrong, I love their pizza, but I will most definitely be going to a different Gino’s location next time.

This has to be the WORST Gino’s location in Toledo. I’ve completely given up on it. I do not frequent this location, but the few times I have gone I have had nothing but trouble. Order being wrong, slow service, HORRIBLE customer service, and just this last time after waiting over half an hour for a small cheese pizza, finding out they gave my order away to someone else. I do not recoomend this location to anyone. If you want Gino’s, pick a different location. You’ll be much happier!

We are done with Gino’s. I give them a shot every three months to see if they have improved their pizza as I have memories of the pizza when they cared about quality, had customer service and made delicious pies. Not anymore. –25 minute wait for 2 large pizza pies for pick up. –Their large is the same size as everybody else’s medium. –No sauce on either… we normally ask for extra sauce at other pizza joints but never need to at Gino’s…apparently that has changed. -$ 20 for 2 large is too much –I would rather get Little Caesar’s pizza than this junk they call food at Gino’s. Toledo deserves better than this not so tasty slice. Aimee’s is my preference, but they are far away… Gino’s is NOT a good equivalent… not even close.(I used to prefer Gino’s over every other pizza place– 10 years ago.) Don’t waste your money.

We chose Gino’s because it was recommended by a friend who lives in the area. It did not disappoint. We called in an order to dine in. It was ready just after we got there(about 20 minutes total). The staff was friendly, it was a clean and nice environment, and VERY well priced. We ordered a pepperoni and feta pizza. It was great. The crust is buttery, crispy, golden brown deliciousness. The only small complaint is too much feta. Would go back again and again.

Understand I love Ginos Pizza for over 30+ years!!! But called in a order today and went to pick up my pies and stood in line for 15min to pay, only to pay and find out they did not even have them cooked yet after giving them 45min! Never again

Seeing how I haven’t been here for a while, I thought to take my dad out for a special treat for his birthday. So we walked into the dining area and it took awhile for someone to get that because not many workers were there yet. So I went up to the counter, ordered food with my pops, and what we got was some of the best darn pizza that the city of Toledo had to offer. We got the mild wings, 2 cheesy bread, and to make your own pizzas. Perfection is possible. 4 stars for the service. 5 stars for the pizza.

This place has the WORST pizza I have ever had. FIrst off, we ordered a Large pizza with sausage on half of the pizza. The crust was chewy. The sauce forgetful. The italian sausage? Tasted more like a meatball. This«large» pizza looked more like a personal pizza!!! I shared this horrible excuse of a pizza with another person. We were still starving after eating this«pizza». We ended up going to Burger King down the street to fill us up. For $ 19, we got a pathetic 10″ pizza and 2 fountain drinks. Definitely never eating there ever again!

You’ll either love or hate this pizza, as the other reviews make clear. Before I went to Gino’s, I checked out these reviews and after some hesitation, decided to head over and check it out. I really liked it. The distinctive feature of Gino’s pizza is the greater caramelization than you’ll find in most other pies. The sauce is a little sweet but it’s not like ketchup at all. The cheese was decent but not«premium» quality. The sugars in the sauce caramelize in the oven, creating a more complex flavor profile than you’ll find at other pizza places. There are several crust thicknesses. I’ve eaten here twice and the slightly burnt outer edge of the crust along with the caramelized sauce makes for a more complex experience – I relished the subtle complexities as well as the slightly burn flavor. If your ideal is a New Haven or Chicago style pizza, you’re bound to be disappointed. Gino’s makes a good case for a distinctive Toledo-style pizza. I haven’t tried the more«Midwestern» options such as kielbasa and sauerkraut but may take the plunge soon.

If there is such a thing as «Toledo Style Pizza,» this is it. First, I will admit that it’s rather expensive, but you just might find that it’s worth every penny. Also, I’ll admit that some of the other items on the menu are sub par. But then again, what kind of a dipshit would order a chicken sandwich from a pizza joint? Spotty service occasionally? Yeah, that too. Back to the pizza… The crust is of medium thickness, and is cooked to be soft; it can be folded. You get copious amounts of cheese that is always cooked to a golden brown perfection. The sauce is applied liberally, and, is pretty sweet. Personally, the sweetness is why I like it, but I can easily see why others might not. Another nice feature is that the sauce and cheese extend all the way to the perimeter of the pizza; there’s little-to-no exposed crust around the outside! Like many kids, neither of mine like exposed pizza crust, BUT, they’ll eat every square inch of a pie from Gino’s! If there is a better pizza in Toledo, I haven’t found it, and I HAVE looked. This is some of my favorite anywhere.

You got to be kiddin me. This place used to be good, but then they sold out, the people got rid of the old ovens and changed the red sauce. They don’t make authentic pizza, but that doesn’t stop people from going there. They now cut corners and use poor quality ingredients and i wouldn’t call this place a real pizzeria. Oh the gelato also sucks. If you want authentic pizza, try Calvino’s.

By far the best Pizza in Toledo, Ohio. Ginos has been around since I can remember. They always had great Pizza. the sauce has a good bite to it and everything about this pizza is excellent. The grease is even good. No one in Toledo beats this Pizza taste.

Best pizza in Toledo, and some of the best in the country. A generous amount of cheese sits atop a crust that’s thick enough to handle the one of a kind sauce and grease that oozes out of every delicious bite. There’s very little part of the pizza that isn’t covered in cheese and sauce, making throwaway crust a nonfactor(not that I don’t eat my crusts). Gino’s has a way of burning the edges of the pizza in a way that only adds to their deliciousness. They have a lot of other stuff on the menu too. But this a place you come for pizza, and nothing else. Their cheese bread is okay, nothing to write home about. The lunch buffet is a great deal. Quick tip: have a lady you’re talking to who likes pizza and hasn’t tried Gino’s? Get her a heart-shaped pizza! Yes.
