Food is delicious. However, I didn’t enjoy the children running around and being loud.

I have ordered take out from there twice. Both times I was told my order would be done in 15 minutes and upon getting there around 15 minutes after ordering, I still had to wait 15 – 20 minutes for my order. I will never order from them again.

After Amango closed on Monroe I am glad to find a place that serves phở(and more!) The outside is shabby, so we always passed it without any consideration, but the inside is fine and the food is great! Crab Ragoon and spicy szechuan wonton we tried were excellent. I’m sad I didn’t know About this place earlier. I want to come back and explore the menu some more!

The food here is pretty good and if you want more authentic Asian cuisine this isn’t a bad stop. However, I recommend draining your bladder before and after you go to the restaurant because the bathroom is just a little icky. The service is never consistent and it is the luck of the draw. Most of the time I get a really nice server but who struggles to speak English. So a little patience might be needed. There is a man in his mid to late 40’s(wears glasses) who works there(he may be the owner or family), he kind of barks at customers and treats you like you are stupid. He treats the employees like they are beneath him too from what I have witnessed. But if you just ignore him, everyone else is very accommodating.

We eat here pretty frequently since moving to Toledo. It is by FAR the best around. Brought my 16 year old niece the last time and she lost he mind over how good the food was. Never a bad plate of food.

I live in the area and have passed by Wei Wei many times. I have always been curious about the quality of this place since it was right across the street from an adult book store. Thanks to another Unilocaler’s review, I finally decided it was time to give it a shot. The menu is quite extensive with what sounded like many good choices(if I would change anything, I would add pics of the entrees to the menu). ordered the Three Delight Combo(shrimp, beef, and chicken) with mixed veggies in a mildly spicy brown sauce served with a choice of steamed white rice or fried brown rice(I had fried brown rice), egg roll, and soup or salad with ginger dressing(chose the salad). The food was very good and the prices were not bad either. Server was attentive and seemingly very shy. From what I saw of the interior, it was nicely decorated. I did not spend any time in the bar area, nor did I go out to the outdoor area so I am unable to comment on those areas. All-in-all a good find and will more than likely make Wei Wei a go-to choice for Chinese food when I am in the area.

My friend and I stumbled upon Wei Wei one night as we both had a craving for Phở. Being a college kid and from a different city, I didn’t think Toledo had much to offer on the food front. I’m so glad we found it! The Phở here is great. The meat is always very tender. The service is quick. We’ve made it a point to come every Wednesday, which we have dubbed«Wei Wei Wednesday». For 8.95 you can get a heaping bowl of eye of steak Phở(T9). My friend never finishes hers but I always do! The environment is the best. I believe it is family owned and I love that! They are very inviting and the cook(and the mother, I assume) is awesome! She remembers us and always comes over to speak and joke with us. I recently had the shrimp lo mein(Shocker I tried something new) and it was AWESOME! I would definitely recommend Wei Wei to everyone.

Had the spicy fish house special and was quite pleased. Super tender and just the right amount of spiciness in the broth. Good fast service. Ambience could be nicer but who really cares that much about that

Had phở twice here in a week :) really yummy~ I like to ask for extra bean sprouts, they are light on the additional stuff. Sauce is in a potted container i.e. spicy and hoisin so don’t expect a bottle.

This is the best Chinese restaurant I have been to so far in Toledo. Me and my boyfriend went there on Sunday night, and we ordered a Wonton noodle, Singapore Mei Fun and 3 cup Chicken. All three dishes were delicious and traditional. Highly recommend this restaurant to people who like to have some authentic Chinese dishes! Also don’t get surprised if you see an adult audio shop before you see the restaurant.

So far it’s the best Chinese food I’ve found in Toledo. I haven’t been to many others though. Compared to Portland’s Chinese food scene it’s pretty lackluster, but I wouldn’t expect the same here; so given the circumstances it’s up to snuff. My 4 mark is mainly based on the time it took for the meal itself, and the lack of spiciness to my dish. I ordered Szechuan Chicken extra spicy, figuring they catered to your typical American audience(and they do), but even extra spicy barely had any kick to it. I’ll go in next time and ask for… Super spicy I guess? I don’t know, extra extra spicy maybe.

I really really like this restaurant. Nice service. And nice food. I prefer to house special spicy fish and general Tso’s chicken.

Being an Asian from California, their Thai spicy soup noodle is really tasty. I gave four because they served out hot water with straw in it.

Had an hour to kill before picking up my daughter at her school a mile or so away. I was in the area and remembered someone mentioning this place. I was in the mood for a Hong Kong Noodle Soup, so I sopped in. As has been mentioned, the place is devoid of curb appeal. It looks like a bunker on a missile range. A bunker across from an adult bookstore featuring 25-cent movies. It was 1 pm and there were two cars in Wei Wei’s stone parking area and five huge pick-up trucks in the bookstore’s lot. I had a chuckle. As you enter, there is a dry, stained multi-tank fish display. It does not appear to have seen fish, water or a scrubbing in a decade or so. Wow. Yet, I still continued to go forward in search of a good bowl of noodles. The place is a little dark, spartan and poorly laid out. It did not smell dirty, look dirty or offend in any way except for poor feng shui. I was seated and ordered the Wonton Noodle Soup. What I received was an answer to a prayer. Righteous noodles! A hot, clear, clean broth with a wonderful chicken and marrow flavor. Oodles of noodles. About 8 wonton dumplings and some nice, crisp stalks of baby bok choy. Simple and delicious. It was not quite as good as the bowl of heaven I received at New Empire months ago(see the review), but it was $ 3 cheaper and still a 7.5 on the Ollie’s Noodles scale. I may be early to pick up my daughter more often. At any rate, I will be back. maybe to try the pan-fried noodles. that is another of my go-to dishes, and I’ve read things…

This is the benchmark with which I base all of my Chinese restaurant experiences. When the Chinese exchange students say this is their area favorite for traditional Chinese food you know it’s good! I have since graduated and move away from the area, but have driven back a time or two just for this restaurant. The owner is super friendly and always smiling! He made the experience that much better during each visit– dine in & takeout. I have to admit, I never ordered off the American menu but every single item I’ve tried off the Chinese menu was outstanding. Their ‘ants on the tree’ is to die for. I’ve tried, unsuccessfully, to duplicate the recipe at home several times. Lions head meatballs were also a group favorite. If your visiting Toledo or just looking to try a different Chinese place give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!!!

We went here for dinner this week. The building/location(near adult book store)/décor is all less than desirable. However menu is large and they have booze. We shared lettuce wraps(great), sweet & sour chicken(good) Mai fun(ok) egg drop soup(great) and hot tea(great). The service was ok but the waiter eventually warmed up to us and he turned out to be funny. I would definitely go back. Great for a casual mid week dinner, but I wouldn’t recommend for a weekend romantic date night.

What this restaurant lacks in ambiance, it makes up with how excellent the food is. We’ve visited twice and have had great, consistent food each time. I enjoy the Szechuan chicken(very spicy) and my husband really likes the phở, which is not only delicious but is also a beautiful dish. Portions are also pretty big. Service can be so-so. On our second visit, a staff member had their children in another room and they were pretty loud. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this place.

Did not expect to find this gem. I’m from NY so got a pretty high standard for Chinese food. This place is really authentic and prices are reasonable. Have to try it if you are into authentic Chinese!

Great service. Very hospitable and helpful. Had 2 punch bowls and they tasted wonderful. Had the miso soup and had alot of flavor and tofu. Had the Kung Po and Triple Delight entrees. Flavor was out of this world. Get alot for what ya pay for. Our bill was under $ 55 with 2 punch bowl drinks you would get at a comedy show, 2 entrees, soup and egg rolls. I will definately return!!!

Great place directly across from a 25 cent«adult movie» place. I drove an hour to come here and it was worth it. VERY friendly staff that will help you with the«Chinese» menu for which you should ask.
