THe worst customer service EVER! Food and price isn’t good enough to overlook the only English speaking person in the place who obviously hates her job and the customers. Will NEVER go back!

This place has no customer service and extremely expensive for what they produce. We called tonight for a delivery order, we were put on hold for about a minute and a half or so. A chineese woman got on the phone, took our order and when we asked if she needed the address she just kept repeating«ya ya ok ya we call you back». My boyfriend asked If we could get the total and she repeated«ya ya ok we call you back» Well after 40 minutes of waiting with no call back he called back there. A different woman answered, she was a little more local… boyfriend asked about our order, and it was never placed it was written on a piece of paper and quite illegibly as she said she could barely read it. They are the only chineese resturant in the area that delivers, so we went ahead and continued with our order. Also I really dislike the crab ragoons here, the cream cheese is much too sweet. I won’t order them from here anymore.

If I could rate it lower than 1 star, I would. I love Chinese food, but this was the worst god-awful food I have ever had anywhere. I ordered take out. That was quite an ordeal because I had questions and the person who answered the phone barely spoke issue(but that seems standard operating procedure at every Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to, so no big deal). I ordered 2 entrees: Beef fried rice for my dining companion and sweet and sour chicken for myself. The menu said«Sweet and Sour Chicken(no vegetable)» and then went on to describe it as battered fried chicken in a sweet and sour sauce with pineapple, carrots, onion and green pepper.” When I saw the«no vegetable» I was puzzled but thought they meant they would not make a vegetarian version. Several menu items also had this«no vegetable» notation. It never occurred to me in a million years that what they meant is all you are going to get is the tempura chicken pieces on white rice with sweet sauce(no sour). It was so gross that I threw 98 percent of it down the disposal. My co-diner said that the beef fried rice was edible but the meat was fatty and he was basically just eating peas and rice. I told him to be grateful for the peas! He also threw 60 percent of his meal down the disposal. All that for $ 19. I’d rather saw off my own arm and eat it than dine at this place again. Ugh.

We get delivery from Yum Yum pretty consistently. The house special mei fun is great. I really like their hot and sour soup when I have a cold. I’ve never had an order come out wrong. The General Tso’s Chicken is good, but the broccoli in it is a bit over cooked. All in all some simple, good Chinese takeout and good portions.

I was in a bit of a rush when tried this place. I ordered an egg roll and hot and sour soup. The food was exactly what I expected from Americanized Chinese food. It was certainly edible, and tasty to a certain extent but nothing remarkable. I did only order soup and an egg roll, so perhaps with an entrée I would change my mind. The food did come out quickly and they do have a sign that says they deliver in the neighborhood, which is always nice.

We ordered from this place yesterday 9−3−12. The prices seemed reasonable, and it was one of the only places open on Labor Day. There is a charge for deliver $ 2 if you are inside a 3mile radius, so we google mapped our addresses, and we are 2.2 miles so we placed our order. A few moments later I received a phone call stating that we are more than 3 miles away and will be charged another .50 cents. I explained to the caller that we google mapped it and we are only 2.2 miles. He goes to talk to the boss/owner I hear a lot of arguing and the Owner comes on and tries to convince me that I am in fact wrong, even though I am looking at the map. He begins to get hard to understand with his yelling accent and frustration. So I say ok fine just send the food. Mostly because we used a credit card for the purchase and it was probably already ran through. OK, so there is a 45min delivery wait time which brings the total wait time to an hour. I’m 2.2 miles away. Our food arrives, it was ok. Spoke to the driver and even showed him the google map, explained to him that it isn’t about the .50 cents but about the lack of customer service shown about the dispute. Also, still gave this kid a tip as it isn’t his fault the owner is rude. This kid calls me back to let me know his trip odometer read 4.4 miles!!! Of course it did because you drove 2.2 here and 2.2 back! What the heck! Needless to say, we will not be ordering from this place again. If the owner is that cheap and needs to rip his customers off over .50 cents(when I am within the 3 mile radius) what else does he rip people off with!

I was shocked that I actually LOVE this place, based on the previous reviewer. This place is called Yum Yum for a reason! The downside is that it can be a bit more expensive than my neighborhood Chinese restaurant(Golden Koi), but I am OK with that because the overall product is way tastier(just better, friendlier customer service at Golden Koi). I recommend the orange chicken, crab rangoon, beef lomein, and of course, the eggroll. All delish and served piping hot. This place gets hopping on a Friday night, and I only know this because I was there the last 3 Fridays in a row. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because it’s a bit gross looking inside… But I try not to think about that as I eat the deliciousness.

I am not sure what I was thinking as I am not really a fan of Chinese food, or at least not the overly salty, syrupy, nasty Chinese-American food that is readily available in most cities. I gave it a shot because I was really hungry. The food was average or just below average, and prepared with no care for the taste or presentation. It was not to far off from most Chinese restaurants in Toledo. However, Yum Yum is gross. Our waitress, although a nice lady, had black dirt under each of her fingernails. In addition to that that vomit-inducing little fact was the condition of the bathrooms. They smelled much like a truck stop bathroom and had no soap, which means guess what — the cooks are not washing their hands! Never again.
