Great shop! Very easy for men to shop here. Selection is unreal. Great staff. Give it a try! The owner is very helpful. And the music! From opera to Dylan!

This is a sweet little shop that you would expect to find in Paris or something. They have odds and ends from all over. Bracelets, necklaces, books, domestications, clothing, art and more! I buy an egg white soap there that I use on my face… it’s fabulous for tight, young, pore-less looking skin. They also gallery and feature artists with one of a kind pieces all the time. It’s a great place to come if you want to feel sweetly out of your element. Love it!

Pergolina is a hidden gem. Its that kind of place that you feel always has existed, and always will– because its so timeless, and filled with carefully curated items like jewelry, candles, home décor, ephemera, and gift-y sort of things. Its on a great strip– I love to go to Mo’s for brunch on a Sunday, and make my way up to Coffee Bean for a cold drink, stop in and say hi to Paulana at Pergolina, then hit the farmer’s market for my weekly produce– its the perfect Sunday– nice and easy. If you are looking for the perfect gift for someone, or for yourself– do yourself a favor and stop in to Pergolina!

They close early, I think around 5 so you have to get there early or on week-ends. The selection is very unique, personal and the lotions and candles are fabulous. A great place to pick up a nice card or a gift, or a fun item for your home. Everyone is cozy and friendly, perfectly aligned with the Toluca Lake charm. :)

This store is exceptionally special. Beautiful home items, baby things, jewelry and beyond. This is my go to place for gifts and the care with which owner Paulanna selects the items in the store is praise worthy. I love it here!

I came into this store in search of a Venetian carnival mask like I had seen on their website and found a great selection of handcrafted Venetian masks and a lot of other very pretty and cute items. They have a very nice selection of whimsical and charming items, many of which are from Italy. Also the lady who owns the shop and the other salesladies are very nice and helpful. I will be coming back to check out this store again!

Great little spot. I went in to gift wrap some jewelry I had bought elsewhere and she was quick, pleasant and very helpful. She has impecable taste and was never pushy. I’d definitely go back.

Not much in the way of masculine gifts. To be fair, that seems to be the case with a lot of gift shops, but it’s still disappointing. I’ve found nice housewarming and holiday gifts here for women, though. What actually chapped my hide today is that they now have a new, un-posted cash-only policy for items under $ 15. Since this is the only place resembling a stationery shop close enough to work to go on my lunch break, I went in here looking for a couple of birthday cards. I spent a few minutes looking over the card display(cute selection, but again, why no masculine options?) and approached the register with my selections, only to be told that I couldn’t make my purchase if I didn’t have cash. I had no intention of buying a nail brush made from a real nail or a scented candle I don’t need, so, I left empty-handed. Waste of time. Grrr!

Sweet and charming and it smells so good you’ll want to move in. I tried; they’re not looking for tenants, so I settled for a lovely Ecoya candle. Burning it now in the meager attempt to make my apartment as Pergolina-esque as possible.

I wish I could put Pergonlina in my back pocket and take it everywhere I go. I love love love this place. Paulana and all the lovely ladies who work there are absolute sweethearts. I’m not lying when I say that every birthday, hostess and Christmas present this year hail from this little gem. Sadly, I’ve left town. But fear not non-Angelenos, the magical contents of this store exist online! However, to satisfy that urge for a delightful shopping experience, pay them a visit and they’ll wrap that perfect present you found in an equally delightful package. Go ahead, give in and pick something up for yourself too.

If your looking for some great unique Home items, Pergolina is the place. Paulana & her staff are always above and beyond accommodating. I feel you can find a gift for that person, who has everything, along with for yourself too. It’s a perfect fit, in the Heart of Toluca Lake. You can make a Day out of Shopping & Dining in the one block radius. There’s Prosecco Trattoria across the way, Malbec a few doors over, Trader Joe’s on the corner & Coffee down the street.

Ok. I know I’ve been giving a lot of 5 star reviews lately, but the gods have been smiling down upon me with some really stellar places. Pergolina is an amazing gift store. I happened upon it one day after deciding to walk around with a latte in Toluca Lake. I’ve lived in the area for a while, but I had never set foot into Pergolina until a week ago. I have been back 3 times since(due to a bunch of birthdays/openings/etc., — you get the idea) Now, gifting for me has always been an issue. Do you go with the gift certificate? Try to get them cute from Kitson? Sanrio? Something that deals with an inside joke or something sentimental? Pergolina is the answer to all my gifting problems. I actually met Pergolina herself. She is a delightful woman with an amazing eye for well crafted items. She supplies her store with unique, hand crafted, and/or original gifts, many of which, can be personalized. Part of the beauty of the store is its employees. They are super helpful and not pushy at all. Pergolina is definitely little diamond in the Toluca Lake area! Can’t wait to spend part of my next paycheck here *groan* ;-)

Cutest little trinket shop ever made! Spotted the likes of Hillary Duff there. She was buying some very big candles. hehe! The shop ladies are very helpful and not pushy. Just the way I like it. If you ever need a personalized gift for a friend check out their jewelry case. Also they carry some high end candles($ 20-$ 45) but they smell oh so good. Neat little greeting cards too. A must see!

I have been shopping at Pergolina for YIKES18 years. I am NEVER disappointed. Its the first place I go to for gifts. I always seem to find something interesting that I don’t see anywhere else and I always seem to leave with something for me. Funny how that happens! Paulanna has amazing taste. Its sometimes hard for me to leave Pergolina, it’s like home only prettier! I highly recommend a visit.

A little piece of Firenze in the middle of funny Toluca Lake… the buyer has insanely amazing taste and travels often to NY and Europe to pick up stuff first-hand. The store is decorated beautifully and displays are constantly renovated. Journals, candles, soaps, masks, jewelery, charms, etc. Best gift shop around. And the girl who works on Saturdays is really hot.

So the stuff you will find in here is cute, super cute in some cases, but I can’t escape the fact that this is still Toluca Lake and not Robertson, so charging almost $ 28 for a place mat, $ 89 for a knitted scarf or journals coming in at upwards of $ 60, just seems like a bit much. In fairness though, Pergolina is located on one of the hippest little sections of Riverside, next to Weekendz Only, Lucy’s 51(yay, love this place!), Eight-18 and one of the best little nail shops around, Cosmo Nails, but even so, I think they would be better off lowering their prices just a tad.
