This is a convenient place to grab a bite after hitting some golf balls or hanging out with a buddy on a weekend afternoon to have a beer and watch a game. The facility is nice other than the hallway smelling like rubber which dashed my appetite a bit on the way in. There is ample outdoor seating. We had the stuffed pepper burger and the Cuban. I heard that the Cuban was very good as was my burger. I took one star away because my medium rare burger showed up well done and I hate that. .

I don’t just like this place because it’s inside of a golf dome and I love golf, I like this place for many other reasons. The prices are great and the food is awesome. Any of the sandwiches you can’t go wrong with! Drinks are well priced with a lot of options to choose from. Service is friendly and quick. Great place!

I’ve only been here once, so my review might change subsequent visits. My boyfriend and I came here late one night while in the neighborhood. We had heard a lot of buzz that the Dome had an awesome bar, so we decided to check it out. This, of course, was delayed by my SO stopping to admire everything golf-related on the walk in, but we made it inside eventually. On a high note, the service was great. Our waitress had a consistent presence at the table without being overbearing. There were televisions everywhere, which gave my date something else to admire during pauses in conversation. Food was pretty standard bar fare. We really liked the pita chips that came with the nachos. It was definitely one of the better plates of ‘chos we’ve enjoyed in awhile. Beer selection is eh. They had enough options to keep us happy, but not enough to impress anyone. The ambiance doesn’t really make up for the average drink selection. The bar is L-shaped, making every spot within it feel more cramped than it really is. I spent most of the night trying to make sure my elbow didn’t poke out and whack someone walking past my table. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit here. It’s definitely a rung higher than any other establishment nearby, which might be accounting for its peculiarly high reviews. However, compared to bars in the city and Southtowns, it lacks a lot of the charm and beer selection that distinguishes one establishment from the next.

The dome itself has lots of fun things to do like mini golf, a virtual game experience, driving range and bar. Playing the virtual reality it is fun but not 100 percent accurate. An example when playing hockey some guys were clearly hitting the goalies pads and«scoring» while guys picking corners somehow were missing the net or getting saved. Still when with a lot of friends drinking it was a good time. On to the food, today while at an after work meeting I had a hard time as always picking my meal. There is typical bar food here,(wings, wraps, burgers, subs, limited dinners) so I wanted to order everything. I decided on the«award winning» stuffed banana pepper burger. It would be hard not to like a burger since they are almost all delicious but wow! The burger was juicy, big(½ lb) and amazing. It had a garlic butter spread on it that enhanced its deliciousness. I think this burger was superior to vizzis or grovers. I have already told three people about it while writing this. The side of fries(1 $ up charge) were worth it. Perfectly cooked and nice potato taste. Order. This. Burger.

Service — 4 Price — 4 Atmosphere — 3 Food — 3(some items like the wing flavors are 4) I would love to give this place more stars but its hard. There is no beer selection at all but what really bothers me is that besides not having frosty mugs the beer isnt very cold. If you dont have frosty mugs then please make the tap beer super cold. After 3 trips I have finally just given up. They use a smoker but have very limited BBQ or smoker worthy meals on their menu. I feel like some places just rest on past accomplishments. You probably did win an award for a great sandwich at one point but what are you doing now? If you read my past reviews I’m not the type to just bash a place I wish every organization success, especially in my hometown. But, you have to change with the times and you got to give the people what they want starting with cold beers. Ps, a gastropub in this area would do amazing!

You wouldn’t want to Grill your Dome. That would be very painful. I’m not the shiny-shaved-head type anyway, but if I was, grilling my own hairless noggin would be the least appealing idea since getting Subway for lunch. I will admit, I was skeptical when people told me that the best burger in Buffalo was inside a Golf Dome. If I were an 89-year-old Golfer who could just about make it from my car to the driving range, would I have the best taste in burgers? Right. But you know, you never know, so based on stellar reviews, I gave it a try. I ordered their world famous Banana Pepper Burger, and here are my likes and dislikes. Likes: (1) It was fairly juicy, and fairly well made, and fairly tasty. Piping hot. (2) It was hearty and filling. Dislikes: (1) The patty is pre-formed, so either purchased from a grocery store pre-cut, or cut out with a burger cutter-outer. It’s therefore perfectly circular. It puts me off a tiny bit because it implies grocery store although I can’t tell if it is from one. It might be. (2) The banana peppers were all over it but not particularly spicy or noticeable. (3) Banana pepper stuffing was all over it but was essentially tasteless. (4) The burger was good but far from award winning standard and far from the best in Buffalo, and maybe slightly overpriced at 10-ish. All in all, if you are a burger fanatic and want to try all the good ones in town, try this one, but honestly, it wouldn’t make my top 10, and there aren’t that many good burgers in WNY. But it is a local business and certainly wasn’t bad enough for me to give it a 3(which is usually the lowest I’ll give a family business), and it did taste good, and the person I was sharing it with said it was delicious, so you might think it’s delicious too, so it scores 4. And just be grateful that it’s not called Gruel At The Dome. Because who really wants to eat Gruel, am I right? If you don’t eat your Gruel, you can’t have any pudding. How can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your Gruel? And if it were the Grail At The Dome, then you’d have Harrison Ford and Sean Connery swinging around using whips and hats and it would be all kinds of interesting. And if it were Girl At The Dome, well then, I’d be way more likely to come back, wouldn’t I.

Always excellent food and great atmosphere. Whether you want to hang out at the bar to watch a game or have a nice meal, always one of my favorite places to go. I am a golfer so buy one get one with your greens fee receipt is a bonus during the summer. I also enjoy listening to Darryl Porter as well as the many other bands they have there on the weekends.

My girlfriend and I ordered takeout from the Gallery Grill tonight because it’s close and she was in the mood for a wrap. She ordered the hummus wrap and I had the spicy chicken wrap. We also split an order of chips and salsa. The chips were good and seasoned well. The salsa was out of a jar. She said the hummus wrap was was above average and the hummus may have been made from scratch. The problem was with my chicken wrap. The menu said it came with lettuce, tomato, cheddar, Monterey Jack and red pepper dressing. What it actually came with was chicken and lettuce. Would they have served this to me if I were sitting in the restaurant eating? I highly doubt it. They were betting that I wouldn’t care enough to drive back and complain and then wait for a new one. They were right. But I do care enough to avoid this place next time.

Very good french fries and tasty sandwiches. I always order stuff to go, and they make it quickly. Their website is also genuinely helpful.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. The ownership and staff are more than friendly. Probably the most overlooked spot in town, but is a place you really need to experience for yourself. You wont be sorry you did…

I’d consider myself a regular here in the summer, as Gallery Grill sponsers my softball team… this place is aces! The service is always outstanding and ultra-friendly. Even though the dining room is quite small… they always find a way to accomodate — even big groups(last friday they opened a banquet room for our team to dine/drink in — that’s going the extra mile). The menu always seems to be expanding. A few years ago it was mainly burgers, sandwiches and wraps… now they’ve added full entrees, sides, aps, you name it. The quality of the food is surprisingly great! I recently had the black and blue tuna burger, and was blown away. Prices are outrageously low as well… just a terrific place to dine or hang out — any day of the week.
