Let me first preface this review by mentioning that I’m not a fan of any location of this restaurant for a few reasons. Whatever audio playing over the speakers is always at «club volume.» The menu is a predictable swath of fried bar food, prepared as you would expect it to be, where the service varies from insulting to acceptable. The maximum possible score of any Buffalo Wild Wings is a 3⁄5. I’ve been compelled to come here on more than one occasion usually because no one can muster a better answer to the question: «where should we eat today?» You might as well have fair warning about what to expect when you eat here. The mozzarella sticks I ordered were cooked so long that they were hollow on the inside, the caesar salad was wilted with stale croutons and 60% lettuce stems. My entrée, which had taken the better part of an hour to arrive, came with garlic bread, was actually the heel of a hamburger bun cut in half and butter toasted on one side. The management does not care about what leaves the kitchen, only that the check is paid. There are dozens of restaurants that sell this exact kind of chicken from the same suppliers at a better price. Places where you don’t have to suffer, screaming at the person in the next seat over the volume of an auburn game at 12:30 on a Wednesday. This is a bar that serves food. Keep that in mind when you get ready to drop a bill on some busted boneless wings with garlic parmesan that you could get at a pizza place for less money.

Had a to go order of 24 wings. ½ bone-less and ½ bone-in. Got home and all were boneless = ½ sad family ½ happy family.

My first visit to this place is good but not as exciting as these places would be… this place is lacking some ambience that most of the Buffalo Wild Wings have… there was no music at this place… only food, beer and lot of noises to hear… food was good and person who was serving food was cool, friendly and serving with heartful smile which most of the people in this field do not have… if you are expecting good food and beer you can go but not the party environment …

In what used to be a never fail for my fiancé and I has now become a place of pained disgust and anger. We used to enjoy going to BWW, the staff was good and knew what we wanted. The bartender was nice, the people there atentive and the place cleaner than most hospitals. It’s nice knowing your place, your«Cheers» is providing you a quality product. I mean maybe we’ve watched too many Bar Rescue episodes, but the level of cleanliness and attitude of the staff reflects strongly on the health of the products you’re going to recieve. But lately, the experience has gotten worse. The staff is getting lazy. One thing I notice is they do not move out of your way when you walk through the dining room. If you and a waiter are on the same isle, MOVE. They will check you into the closest table. Maybe they’ve watched too much hockey on their big screens. I don’t know. Coming out after our last experience, I feel like a vampire that’s been staked in the heart. It started with a very, very dirty bar area. This was on New Year’s Eve, and I think a game just ended so there’s that. In the nine minutes we waited to be noticed, I counted. There was then empty tables, nine of them dirty. Of those two had only waters on the table, no food, no checks, no silverware. Half empty water. Fair warning, this is a bad sign in any place to eat. Two tables? Bad sign already. So our waitress, one that had passed us three times helping the table next to us, finally decided we exsisted. We ordered two beers, Miller Lites on special, and a Tablegating sampler. Around five minutes later she brought our beer and disapeared for 20 plus minutes. Keep in mind the ONLY food we planned on eating was considered an appitizer. In this time I got to watch. I watched the manager stand behind the bar and chat with people that he would probabally consider friends. Not really doing anything. I watched the tables sit, dirty, in the lobby. I watched the bartender take off doing who knows what for 10 plus minutes. None of this really concerns me. As long as I am treated right. The final straw came when our food arived(brought by the bartender.) It looked like it came out of the trash can. This is not an overstatement here folks. The Spin dip looked like something a baby would vomit. The cheese sticks? Had marinara sauce smeared on them. It looked like someone had their gloves covered in the sauce and wiped their hands across them! The cheese sauce for the pretzels had a skin on them. I peeled it off in a whole piece. I wished I had a caliper with me to measure the thickness of it. The waitress came by and asked if we wanted another round of beer(failing to ask about the food) and we insisted on seeing the manager. The waitress screamed«OHGREAT! This is ALREADYLITTERALLY the WORST day of my ENTIRELIFE!» I’m proud I could make it worse honey. Out came the reserves with this one. I kid you not, four people came to the table. The same party boy, douche bag I saw behind the counter wanted to «fix things.» Told me I had two options, he would replace the food or pay for the two beers. I tried explaining all my problems, he kept cutting me off. The message waas clear. Take more food or get the hell out. Worse, the whole time he kept patting me on the shoulder. I’m not your friend? Hint. Don’t touch me. In conclusion, if you want garbage pail food at an inflated price with terrible service, questionable health code standards, terrible service and larthargic management. I’ve got JUST the place. If you’re not interested in good that looks llike someone threw it up on your plate, go somewhere else.

I am a Buffalo Wild Wings fan but this is the worst one I have ever been to. The chicken was burnt as well as the sauce was pasty the cheese dip had to have been sitting in the expo window for at least 10 min it was solid on top. Our server was horrible he was more interested in hanging out with his buddy’s at the bar and playing grab — with the other servers. I recommend to go to KFC. I gave it 1 star because I had too

I do love the food, but the service is awful. Our waiter decided he was going to talk to the girl that was sitting behind us for 20 minutes instead of doing his job. He forgot things on our order, got our order completely wrong, never asked for refills, and took forever with everything(it wasn’t even busy). Should’ve went to Larry’s.

Ok, I’ll admit I’m not the target market for BWW. But Sonny Boy wanted to celebrate and it was his choice. We’ve eaten at BWW in Chicago and California… with bad results. Topeka did not disappoint. Service was not attentive. Didn’t receive drink refills. C’mon people! This is hot, spicy, salty food. Refills should be a no-brainer. The food was a bit on the yucky side. I had an appetizer combo for my dinner… thinking I’d like the variety. The pita style chips for the dip were pasty and the cheese dip tasted like it came straight out of a can. Appreciated that the sound on the TVs were low. Another confirmation that BWW isn’t for me… but Sonny Boy still loves it.

I arrived at about 5PM to a crowd of servers standing around the hostess table. I got seated. Then sat done and wait 10 minutes while no one bother to help me. Got up and left.

So it’s a Tuesday afternoon. It’s Topeka, Kansas. It’s Champions League group play and Arsenal has a game. The next day the US Men’s National team has a game. What does BWW do? That’s right — put the games on big TVs on request and put on audio. Thanks guys. Appreciate you helping me to enjoy my underappreciated and beloved sport. PS food specials are awesome too.

— EDIT —- I’ll leave my original review down below this edit, just so others know what I used to think of this location. As of today, however, my mind has drastically changed on this BWW. A majority of the staff at this location has been replaced or just left. What used to be a reliable game-watching hangout for my fiancé and I is now a place that we are disgusted with. We came in on 12⁄31 at about 2:00, following a game that had recently ended. It was not difficult at all to find a table in the bar area, nor was there any waiting on the other side, yet somehow it took over ten minutes for us to be noticed by someone. There was one employee who would trade off between visiting with someone sitting at the bar and walking to tables around us to pick up dirty dishes here and there. The waitress who finally decided to take our order was friendly but it took another 20 minutes before she walked by us, remembered that we had placed an order and brought us what I will recall as the most disgusting-looking Tablegating Sampler that I’ve ever witnessed by a Buffalo Wild Wings establishment. The nacho cheese for the pretzels had a thick film that did not even break when we poked at it to verify what it was. The spinach dip had some sort of brown film over the top and the mozzarella sticks looked overcooked, with half of their cheese spilling out of the sides, gaping holes at their ends. I hated to complain, but I really was not going to eat that food, nor did I think it was fair that we waited so long for that crap. My fiancé complained to the waitress, she flipped out saying it was the worst day of her life and walked away. Shortly thereafter, a manager appeared at our table with a presence that told me he was not going to waste his time with us. He was defensive about the location being busy and in a condescending tone told us he’d just take care of the bill so we could be on our way OR he could remake it for us. Look, I didn’t expect the man to grovel, much less apologize profusely. But a little bit of understanding and a relatable attitude would have been appreciated. Instead I felt like he came at us with two forceable options to get us out of his way. Not to mention, he had some wait staff to get back to flirting with — priorities, right? We will not be returning. — — - My boyfriend and I used to come here on almost a weekly basis because we both worked second shift and would want some wings and a beer after 11PM. BWW is the only place in Topeka that can provide that desire as well as give great service while doing so. Over time we have gotten familiar with the night staff. They are a great crew, quick, precise and we’ve never had issues with our orders. One of the bar managers, Josh, is quite possibly the best bartender or server that we’ve ever had. We go back for his service and great personality!

Friendly staff. The food is always consistently good. Very spacious compared to Manhattan. Lots of game devices for the kids to play with. Saw a 6 yr old boy sitting at the bar, wtf? A/C is definitely on which is great during these Kansas summers!

This is a million times better than the BWW in Manhattan. Its very spacious with lots of booths and tables. The staff are neither rude nor overly friendly or personable. The most recent time I went, I had some blue colored mixed drink that was awesome and the nachos with chicken. The nachos weren’t anything fancy, and maybe it was because I was drinking, but they were so freaking delicious. I can’t wait to go back because the nachos I’ve had elsewhere haven’t compared.

Since my initial review last summer… Over the past couple of months, I have been coming here on a weekly basis for wing night on Tuesdays. I have discovered the greatness of the boneless wings that compensates for the regular wings that I don’t really like. The one thing that really sticks out in my mind is the quality of the service I get from this restaurant. Over the past month, when my hockey team is playing, I have requested if they could put the game on one of the little tv’s that surround the room. They accepted my request and went the extra step and put the game on one of the Big Screen TV’s. Thanks to them, I was able to watch the Canada vs Germany Olympic hockey game, as well as a couple of my hometown NHL teams. Last week, without even asking, the bartender came over to my table and showed me a list of all the games that were being televised that night and asked if I wanted to watch any game in person. This place gets 5 stars for the great customer service !!!
