I agree with all the other reviewers that this Starbucks is neither much better nor much worse than the other Starbucks I have visited… Although the drinks are usually fairly consistent and taste good, the service is hit-or-miss, and I sometimes wish the baristas would be a little more friendly! All in all though, not a bad Starbucks! It’s the most conveniently located for me, so I can’t complain.

I don’t always get the same experience from one visit to the other. Some times the barista is friendly and quick to serve, while other times I get attitude like the person thinks they are just too good to be working there. Sometimes service is quick, while other times you wonder who is keeping them organized. The location is difficult to get into and out of quickly. The entrance to their parking lot is tight. When traffic is backed up along Wanamaker road, it can be difficult to get to. The drive-in doesn’t have a defined avenue except for near the call box. Vehicles can back up in line from two directions, North-South and East-West. When this happens it’s almost impossible to get out of the parking lot. The business would benefit by moving to a location that is more accessible. Compared to other Starbucks, I’d say this location is pretty mediocre. The food has been less than impressive. The drinks are made a little too sweet at times. I’m a gold level rewards member and I have to think twice about coming to this location when it is easier to get service at one of the many Starbucks locations inside several Dillons stores in town.

One observation that is off-putting every time i come in here… I often come at off-peak hours when I am the only customer, or maybe one of two people in the store. I have found that no matter what, the baristas literally yell out my name so loud when my drink is ready, even if I’m standing one foot away and am the only one in the store. This has happened multiple times and I always look around in disbelief and can’t help but laugh to myself at this pattern. I’ve also overheard less than professional conversation going on behind the counter. I don’t mind this so much, but I would like to see a little more professionalism in the staff at least keeping their voices down so patron’s can’t hear their personal conversations.

Friendly cashier, fairly surly barista. For the most part, this appears to be a standard Starbucks but with a pretty serious housefly infestation. Seriously, there were at least a dozen buzzing around so I’d probably steer clear of any food items here.

This particular Starbucks is way below average compared to any other. They are always busy but the customer service is atrocious. The drinks are very often watery and always only full. I wish Starbucks management could work on this. I really love Starbucks but feel I’m being«cheated» at this store.

Visiting from Seattle this was not only the worst Service we had in KS but also the worst drink I’ve had ever at a Starbucks despite two tries. No smiles or greeting, rolling eyes when I asked for my drink to be remade and a big blame game. Must have very poor management. I would suggest making ur own at home.

Walked in and noticed it’s a very busy starbucks. Figured must be a «good one» then. Boy was I wrong. Ordered a simple drink, after waiting almost 10 mins in line, iced coffee with milk. Cashier repeated the wrong drink back to me. Corrected him and paid. Went and sat down for almost 5 mins, after the wait I’m informed that they are out of iced coffee and I would have to wait for more to be brewed or choose another drink. Well seeing that’s all I drink I waited, once I did receive my coffee it tasted horrible! Tasted like watered down dish water. After seeing my displeasure with the coffee the batista ran and got me a «free drinks» coupon. Needless to say it’s not free because I just paid for this crap coffee. Now why didn’t I ask for them to fix this drink? Because it would have been from the same batch of watered down dish water they called coffee. Needless to say I walked out the door and tossed the coffee into the trash and went to Mc ’ D to grab some one of their coffees.

As a Starbucks regular in a different state, I must say that I was very disappointed by the slow, slow service at this Starbucks. The line was out the door and crept at a snails pace. They seemed to be randomly making drinks so members of the same party didn’t get their drinks at the same time(or even close). I agree with Dave C — seems like the Starbucks(brand) is trending to losing their service.

Standard Starbucks, nothing special. I am noticing a trend with these Starbucks, the service that use to be is quickly fading.

Based on morning visit: Rude. Slow. They just don’t care about the people in line versus drive-thru. Overlooking my order and giving it to the drive-thru is one thing. Watching me stand in the pick-up area and having everyone else grab there stuff while I waited patiently without saying ONE word to me was just rude.

Anyone who has read any of my reviews knows I am a coffeefan. I visited this Starbucks on a trip across country, and it did not disappoint.

Is it me or has Starbucks become foam happy with all their drinks ? Last week I ordered a grande hot chocolate without whip cream from their drive thru. I paid for my drink, grabbed my drink and proceeded to drive off. One thing I noticed is that the top part of the cup felt a little cooler than the rest of the cup, so I stopped at a gas station to look into my cup. And I was shocked to see that I only had a half cup of hot chocolate, and a topped with a layer of whip cream. From the sides of the cup, I could tell that the level of the drink was at the top, so I was able to conclude that Starbucks had filled my cup halfway with foam. A few days later in a different city, I ordered a grande latte. And when I received my drink, I looked in the glass and once again, I noticed that a third of my glass was all foam. So is it Starbucks new business model to fill the cups with as much foam as possible to save on the cost of milk in their coffee drinks ? 2 stars deducted for messing up my order, and for consistently putting too much foam in the lattes.
