I view a Quality Inn as a three star hotel if they fill everything they plan to, and this Quality Inn did so. The manager was working when we checked in, and he was nice. After not being able to shower at the Quality Inn in Terre Haute, IN, I was beyond ready to get a shower at the next hotel on my road trip. But after walking past the pool, I decided to go for a swim here. The pool was very warm and a decent size. It was the perfect was to relax after eight hours in the car. There was quite a bit of mold on the floor and on the door, though, so definitely wear flip flops when walking around. The room was clean, and the shower was clean with good water pressure. The continental breakfast was fairly small, as was the room it was served in. But the waffles for breakfast good. At $ 93/night for the hotel, including tax, I would stay again.

The rooms are pretty big and nice and clean. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly. The hotels in a good location plenty of places to go out and eat. In the morning the hotel provides a free continental breakfast. With a pretty good selection both hot and cold you can make your own waffles. I would definitely stay here again.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this place during an overnight trip to Topeka. Place is fairly decent in terms of the accommodations and the desk staff are friendly. There’s an older female night clerk who seems to have a bad attitude, but I didn’t really deal with her too much so I wouldn’t count that as part of this review. As for the room(#107), it was ok. Bed was comfy, though my only gripes were with the bathroom door. The bathroom itself was fine, but that door had a couple of issues. The knob was kind of askew and didn’t turn all the way, so it had to be constantly adjusted if you wanted it to turn. Either that or pulling the door in — which posed it’s own set of problems. Something about how it was painted or another issue prevented it from closing completely. That was turned into the front desk, so hopefully they have been fixed. In all, I’m not sure I’d stay here again. The Sleep Inn just up Wanamaker has cozier, cleaner rooms at about the same price and they were a better value even during their renovation. May pick that one over this one in the future.
