I wanted to pay with cash and debit, but the cashier clerk said I had to pay a minimum of 6 dollars on the card. Every other place where I buy things, in general, I sometimes pay cash then the rest gets paid with card. Never have I ever been to a place where I have to pay a minimum of 6 dollars on my card. What kind of bullsh** is Gengis Khan doing here?! To make things worse, the clerk didn’t try to help me at all! I told her that I’ll be using my money to eat elsewhere and she still didn’t care. Horrible attitude. At least Blaze Pizza worked out better and DIDNOT ask for a minimum of 6 dollar on card. I’ve never had a problem with Gengis Khan, but this is beyond stupid. They’ve lost my respect for them. Nobody should be eating here with this kind of service.

I’m a huge fan of mongolian food. But this is prolly one of the worst places to go to if you want a good deal. The bowls have been shrunken but the price is still $ 11. I’m a master at packing stuff(without having to push ingredients down) but the size of this bowl feels like a rip off. The food itself is generic to mongolian places nothing too special. Giving it a 2⁄5 cause I feel like they’re ripping off the customers with their sizes. Id avoid this place and try the galleria or this buffet place on Anza and Pch by michaels

I always get random cravings for this place. I know it’s similar to just Chinese food but at least it’s freshly cooked in front of you and I really like their sauces. I also like that I can organize my plates with certain meats and vegetables. For $ 10, you can get a full plate of food. It’s probably not the healthiest thing to consume but it hits the spot once in awhile. Bring cash so you can tip the cooks.

This review talks about the service at this location only… 1. The lady at the register was so rude. She was rushing at the register taking orders to customers when they weren’t even up to the counter yet. Like why can’t you wait until they come to the register to pay so they have room to take their tray and bowls? The line isn’t going to go by any faster when you keep getting people’s trays and bowls ready when there’s no room to put it on the counter. Plus she was talking over the people that were right in front of her. So rude. 2. She asked the people before us if they wanted hot sauce. Did she ask us? No. Okay(I would let this one go) 3. The guy who put our noodles on was very generous and he said the cooks could add more veggies to your bowl if you didn’t have room. I politely asked the cook to add a little bit more broccoli, and he said nothing and gave me the dirtiest look I’ve ever seen. Wow I don’t know man, I would rate the food 3.5 stars and I still hate the service. But I loveeee Mongolian bbq

This place looks really good and I was really looking forward to trying the food, until. The cooks at this place need to be fired. Horrible service, customer interactions was crazy and very poor food handling. The Grill was straight up Nasty dirty and there is a line full of people. This place should be shamed hire more people if you can’t keep it clean! As for you cook give them a few lessons on how to deal with people or hire new one’s, as far as the food goes everything looks fresh and in order and taste great. The del amo mall if doing a very good job with the remodeling. This restaurant is starting off on the wrong foot.

Staff at this place is rude and careless!!! I had a bad experience with one of the cooks at this place. He was to concerned on how you prepared your bowl and not concerned over the food he was cooking. He dropped food on the floor that was cooked twice as I waited in line and wax rude towards customer! I don’t have a problem being told rules of the establishment but when you come at Simone sideways it changes everything! Poor customer service…

This place is cool. Service was quick and the food was great. It was enough for 2 people a bit more $ than the one at SB Galleria but way more food and no signs not to push down the meat. WTF don’t push down my meat lol!

Love this place! Been going since before the new food court and think it’s even better. New location is an upgrade in visual and taste aspects. New food court is bigger, and cleaner. Food is fast-food like, buffet style, but does not taste like it. It’s a must try if you like Mongolian BBQ! Yeah, the service isn’t the friendliest but I like the cheaper quick option for the area.

Didn’t expect to give it 1 star. Then again I didn’t expect to be so disappointed!!! Del Amo Mall is in the midst if redesigning and Gengis Khan received a completely new makeover! Definitely is beautiful to walk past. Today I decided to have dinner there with Robby and let’s just say don’t let the looks fool you! Set up is nice, pretty fancy smancy. They keep the set up of the food organized. So what’s the problem? The handling and cooking of the food! Myself and another party were waiting for our food to be cooked, we literally watched the employees clean the grill which was filthy! You can see in my photo. On the ground there was so much food that was dropped on the ground, we saw them sweeping as well. What I noticed is that both cooks did NOT wash their hands after cleaning and sweeping. They just put gloves on. –_– So the guy who cooks mine begins cooking the meat and noodles then separates the noodles to be put back in the bowl. When he went to slide the noodles back with the giant chopstick he dropped a handful of our noodles! And the remaining was left dangling from the bowl. What disgusted me was that the dangling noodles were touching his apron and God knows what else was already on there. It gets worse… he then puts our bowl on noodles on a steel tray and the noodles were touching the tray since they were half dangling from the bowl. Again who knows if that tray is even clean. As we watch the train wreck continue we see him push our food around and around, each time dropping more noodles and meat. At the end when it was time to slide the rest of the food into the styrofoam box, yes, he dropped even more food. The other cook next to him was no better. I’ve never seen such sloppy cooks before! Please retrain them!!! The cook knew he dropped a lot of our food but just laughed to his cooking buddy. My boyfriend and I were exhausted after work, otherwise I would’ve complained but this franchise has a DGAF vibe to them. Also the employee handling the meat had his hair in a long ponytail WITHOUT a fishnet stocking. That’s pretty disgusting because his hair can fall into the meats. This location is beautiful but lacks health code standards. As for the food it tasted okay, nothing special. We always order medium for the spice level which has a kick. The medium here was bland, no flavor no nothing. I don’t plan on eating here again. I will just go to Chipotle across the food court.

Service was quick, the staff could be more personable, food was great(hit the spot), could use a wider variety of ingredients, a little pricey… Overall pleased with the experience *update They’ve been here at the new location for about 5 months now and the customer service still needs much improvement… Food is still great but customer service is what makes people come back… Just a thought
