SAS Shoes

Don’t make my mistake and don’t shop here. this store has a chintzy 14-​day return policy. it isn’t mentioned anywhere prominently on the receipt, so i figured that it was your standard 30-​day period.
i happened to come by on day 15 and was immediately told it was past the return period. since i missed it by one day and had never even worn the shoes, i expected them to at least give me a refund or a store credit, worst case.
well, forget that. they held firm on their policy and offered nothing despite my pleas. i left the the store without the shoes as i didn’t want to be reminded of my lousy luck. i lost $ 165.00, which is about what i pay for a pair of really nice shoes from nordstrom that i really love. even if i don’t love them, nordstrom takes them back anytime without any questions.

I took my mom to buy some SAS shoes few weeks ago. I would never go to SAS for my shoes, but I had to Unilocal them since they were so nice and helpful.
The gentleman that helped us was an older man, and he was very sweet and helpful! My mom’s kinda picky, but he was able to bring her right size shoes and different styles as well.
The next day, when my mom tried on the shoes again, they felt little too big for her, so she asked me if we could go exchange them. I told her to bring the receipt and the box with the shoes, but she’d already threw out the box. I called, and the owner told me to bring in the shoes anyways, and he exchanged them for us. My mom was super happy. :)
I would definitely take my mom again and recommend them to anyone looking for really comfy (older people) shoes, lol.

Very nice lady helped us find the just right shoes for my mom. Mom needed special shoes due to needing wide and easy to put on. She found 2 pairs. Quite a bit pricey, but feel better that she has comfortable shoes that are safe for her to wear.

Staff here is very friendly and nice and helpful. The shoes are typically around $ 150 to $ 300 but the quality is much better than other shoes and they have lots of wide sizes and extra wide sizes. If you need wide or narrow shoes they have a good selection. Shoes here are usually for older folks but they have some nice shoes for younger people. Just wish they were open longer on weekends and evenings.

I love my Red Wings for a great US made shoe that lasts forever. But they take a long time to break in and are not the perfect everyday shoe. I also can get New Balance for running shoes and like them as well.
I have been questing for a casual shoe that meets my standards for small company made, high quality, shoes. Luckily I found this store right near my office. It is great to have a US made (San Antonio, TX) shoe store so near to us at the beach. The shoes are of very high quality and will last 2−3x longer than most shoes you will buy. They also carry their line of socks also US made.
The women’s line offers more variety but there are a lot there for men to try on. Service was like it should be at a high quality shoe store. They are knowledgeable and will work with you to make a great fit.
If you have to go with the cheapest, stick to your Chinese factory built mass production shoe and have them shipped halfway around the world to you to end up in the garbage in less than a year. Or go with quality made shoes from a shop like SAS and never go back.
