This review is for their delivery service only. If your order is over $ 12, they throw in a free small iced tea! If your order is over $ 25 they’ll give you four egg rolls. Honestly though, I’d prefer it if they just kept stacking the Thai teas. I like their papaya salad(sans green beans, please!). If you haven’t tried papaya salad before, they use the young fruit, unripe and then grate it into shreds. They mix it with chili, lime juice, shredded carrots, shrimp and peanuts. The result is a spicy, tangy, refreshing dish that is not only good, but good for you. Their beef spare ribs are a delicious appetizer, too. The texture is between a tender beef jerky and the ribs at a western bbq restaurant. The sauce or marinade they use is distinctly Thai. So good. Our orders arrive early, more often than not. The guy that delivers is so pleasant, every time. Super convenient take out and delivery for the Torrance area.

Who doesn’t love a hair on their food? Not only that but it’s no delectable. The lunch special comes out to $ 8.00 and it doesn’t come with a drink.

Love this place! Small and affordable. They have lunch and dinner specials! My favorite will always be the Pad Thai but they have a more-than-decent menu! :)

Even though there were lots of 3 star and lower reviews, we decided to order since I had to pick up an alteration from Pepe’s Tailor shop next door(great tailor, but that’s another review!). Ordered the broccoli and oyster sauce plate + veggie pad thai. Both dishes were just OK and nothing to rave about. There is free thai iced tea when your bill is greater than $ 12, but we both didn’t care for the tea. Keep in mind that if you order the individual items, no rice is provided. Would we go back, probably not.

Needed a quick lunch and the name has«to go» in the title. We ordered three simple orders and it took 25 minutes and two wrong orders until it was ready. The food was pretty darn greasy and gave you a «I don’t feel so good» feeling afterwards. The positives are the prices are very good and decent customer service. Other than that thai places are a dime a dozen and I would kindly recommend elsewhere.

Let’s see… AVOIDTHISPLACE!!! Iam all about giving back, so iam doing my good deed by informing my fellow Unilocalers to save their time and money! So I called this place to place an order for delivery since I only have a thirty min lunch, first the lady on other side of the line sound bothered the moment she answered the call… when I asked her that I would like to add shrimp she made sure she repeated to me that it would be extra, I repeatedly answered that was FINE! then I asked may I have cucumbers on the side once again that would be extra was told several times, I responded it was FINE! Added a side of steam rice, and guess what she said…(drum roll please)… yes that would be extra… I mean lady iam placing an order I think I know iam paying for my food it was really annoying not mention kinda rude! Here come the good part, then she says ohhhh you don’t have enough for delivery! And I asked do you have dessert? She answer just like this«mango sticky rice«silent pause… then when I was going to add an order of thai iced tea(an extra tea) just so I can get my dammm food deliver! She cuts me of and tells me «you need to call back iam busy you are taking to long«yes she did… iam one to just let it go but don’t mess with a hungry woman! Save your self the hassle AVOID… P. S still hungry!

I ordered the pad see you. It was mostly fried noodles with two pieces of broccoli, a small piece of egg, and a few pieces of chicken.

Combination Fried Rice and Fried Wantons review: Its been a while I haven’t visited this place and I have to say they changed a lot. The place is really small but they were able to remodel to make it inviting. I ordered combination fried rice which i regret buying for the price i paid for. I only got 2 shrimp and very minimal meat and chicken. The fried Wanton had this funny taste like it had to much curr. This was the first time I ever had Wantons with curry taste to it. It was not bad nor good. I wouldn’t order it again that’s for sure. I paid a lil over $ 17. total. I should have gone to Three Thai spice better.

Good food great price, can’t go wrong with the lunch special. Ordered the Beef Broccoli and it was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back next time and will order something more authentically Thai.

Do not order the yellow curry it is gross. I ordered two entrees & if I would not have had the pad thai too I would have gone hungry. When I called to tell the restaurant the woman said that she would credit me for the yellow curry but trust me, don’t order it! Not sure I’ll use that credit.

Have been there twice. Its a really small place. My first order was sweet and spur tofu. Its under 10 $. It was really awesome. I loved it so much that when I visited them again, I ended up ordering again :)

Three-star reviews just aren’t fun to write, are they? They’re unremarkable but necessary for honest feedback. Much like the food here was categorically unremarkable but necessary for lunch sustenance close to my work. I don’t eat meat, so I can’t speak to the reviews complaining about meat quality. I also wasn’t given a free tea either, so there’s that. I tried to order a curry entrée with tofu online, but the only options were chicken, beef, etc. When I called to place my order though, this wasn’t a problem(?) Who knows. I wanted brown rice too, but they only have sticky white rice here. Meh. I picked up my food and was surprised how run-down this strip of shops was(not that it’s their fault), but the inside only had one cramped little table. Hence the name Thai Food To Go! Haha. The food was so-so, with a pretty thin curry sauce that was saltier than I’m used to. It was like someone diluted the curry with salty water. But it wasn’t awful. i just probably won’t order here again.

This is the 2nd time I try this place so I think it’s now worth a review. I placed an order online through eat24 and the food was delivered to my job about 35 mins later. I had the Pad Thai Chicken lunch. Rice, noodles, chicken and egg roll were delicious while the side salad was nothing special. For a lunch under $ 8 bucks you get more than decent sized portions. If you work in the area and are craving Thai. You should definitely give this place a try.

Overview: Thai Food To Go’s name explains it all and I won’t elaborate. The Food: I had the Kang Ped(red curry with coconut milk) with beef with an order of rice. The beef was thin, overcooked, and surprisingly non-flavorful even though it was soaking in a vat of curry. The curry was salty, entirely too thin, and lacking in punch. The veggies within the curry were pleasant and suited the meal well but I wished for more! My rice was nicely steamed and plain. At around $ 8 – 9 for my meal, I feel that I would have been better off ordering a pizza. I also had some gyoza which were nicely fried on the bottom and about average for what I’ve had at other Chinese take-out places. Conclusions: Thai Food To Go seems to split a lot of Unilocalers with some praising its flavors and free iced tea and other like I condemning the poor meat quality. I will probably give it a few more chances because I generally enjoy Thai food but my first impressions are unfortunately fairly poor :-(.

This place terrible meat quality is ridiculous WHEN Your meat Taste old and taste like it has been reheated something’s wrong MEATQUALITYHASTOBE Fresh Seriously. Pros Pad thai Was decent rather have it meatless. Free Thai tea. Chicken curry without chicken(Seriously meat not that good) Wish curry was thicker. Quick delivery order was about 30mins. Cons Thai tea had 80% Ice why? Meat not fresh. Meat really not fresh. Reheated meat. Old meat. I tipped. But hey ignore the other Unilocalers like I did and you will regret it.

I order from here because its close to my job and they deliver. The food is actually really tasty and worth a try. I haven’t had any issues with the plates I have ordered so far except the last time when my rice had a hair. but whatever, I’m not going to die over it. Did I mention they deliver? oh, and you get free Thai tea if your order is more than $ 10! I’m giving this place three stars not because of the hair, but because after my last delivery order(I paid with Credit Card) my bank called me with some fraudulent charges. a hair and fraud charges on my credit card aren’t going to stop me from coming here… I just wont do anymore over the phone credit charges. As some other review have stated, this is not a sit down restaurant, you could sit at the one table they have, or at the bar style table they have against another wall, but its not all that comfy.

It took 20 minutes for the food to get delivered(super fast). I ordered the Pad Kee Mow and the Wonton soup. The Pad Kee Mow was good and spicy, even though I only ordered a medium. I like a little heat in my food so I was happy to learn that the spicy flavor wasn’t overbearing. The chicken was tender as well, but there weren’t many(unless I just ate all of it at the start). The wonton soup was good, not great. I would definitely order here again if I’m staying in the area.

I’ve been here multiple times for their lunch specials and dinner combinations. I have found that the portion sizes in their lunch special($ 5.50) is very small so I generally avoid that and go with their dinner combinations($ 8) that have more generous portions. The dinner specials come with chicken soup, chicken satay, fried rice and an entrée of your choice from a list of about 15 items. I’ve tried most of the chicken and beef items from the list and tend to like the Cashew nut chicken and Beef Panang. If asked I suggest that you go with their default spice level as I have found their extra spicy option to be so hot that it basically overpowers the taste of the dish. I have found the service to be fast but I’ve visited only on the weekends during lunch time so this may not be true on weekdays during lunch time. Another interesting thing is that I have never been offered the free Thai tea :) Taste wise the food is great but not excellent. I keep returning as I feel that this is a decent place to grab an inexpensive meal for under 10 bucks.
