I have been meaning to write this for 2 months. THEGOOD Dr. Glazer is the only good thing you write about in regards to the Totowa Visionworks. He is such a great man who has a great rapport with patients. He ensures you that you leave feeling knowledgeable about your vision. He takes time to thoroughly explain everything in detail and uses his wonderful touch of personalty to give you an amazing experience. GREATMAN, DOCTOR, ANDOVERALLPERSON. THEBAD I will try to keep this short and to the point. Customer service at this place is an absolute joke. The staff in general are rude and downright mean individuals. For instance, a man who spoke broken English was helping me with a pair of glasses. I found one I really like and he began to make fun of the way they looked on my face. I wont get into the specifics of what he said, but I can tell you that it was very immature of him to comment the way he did. The same man also decided to use sarcasm when I left as he said«I GUESS I WILLPUTBACKYOURGLASSESCHEAPSKATE». This was after he continued to harass me with immature comments, as well as lying to me saying«well I met with the Dr. and he said you must have these…». Funny, because my doctor handed the prescription to the front with me the entire time and then went back to see more patients. Sorry PAL I did not fall for your scams and cheap techniques in order to increase your commission. Treat people with respect and maybe you will make some business.

Terrible experience. Contact lenses were fit wrong 8 months ago and I have gotten multiple corneal abrasions. Not until I went to another doctors office recently was I told that the contact lenses were fit wrong and were the cause of my abrasions. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your eye needs.

Dr Glazer has been my eye Dr. for years. The ease of making appointments and the evening hours are a real plus. Visionworks has always accepted my insurance, even though my insurance companies have changed a few times over the years. Nicole the manager in the front has really helped me when she price matching my contact lenses. Overall the service is great and the pricing with their price match makes it worth going here every time.

I had a great experience here! They are always so friendly and helpful! Levon was a GREAT sales associate. He was extremely patient and helpful. They have a great selection of glasses and available at affordable prices. They also usually have a promo going on.

I don’t about other’s people experiences, even though I saw the bad reviews I decided on giving this place a chance. I went for a routine eye exam and for contact lenses. The optometrist Dr. Glazer was kind, and funny, it was a pleasant experience. I felt confident that I got the best care when it came to my checkup and my eyes of course. The staff was then helpful in helping me choose glasses. I went in there for contacts, and came out with a pair of new glasses since they had the promotion buy one get one half off. I would say give the place a try. If you are in a rush then don’t because it does take time to get the eye exam since it is several parts to it.

AVOID!!! 40 min to pick up a pair of contacts. This place has horrible service. The receptionist have no idea where anything is and no one is one same page. One employee will tell you something and another person will tell you something completely different The Asian optometrist is extremely rude.

THISPLACESUCKS. My boyfriend went in today to get new contacts and the older lady behind the front desk REFUSED to give him his contacts. Even though she knew that he can barley see when he drives. She was beyond rude and i WOULDNOT recommend this place to anyone!!!

First and last time. The people who work here need to improve their skills. My husband had to go there several times to remeasure and have his lens redone. After numerous attempts to try get the lenses corrected he requested a total refund.

The two stars I gave are for the eye doctors themselves. They are very nice. But that’s the only good thing you will find there. As I spoke to one of the only professional employees about something I didn’t understand with the payment, Nicole, the extremely rude woman behind the counter proceeded to scream at me and humiliate me in front of everyone in the office. I was shaking. I felt very threatened and even the man who was helping me was mortified. Me and my six family members will be taking our business elsewhere. I will never return. That kind of ghetto unprofessionalism is not for me.

The ONLY reason for TWO stars is the older guy eye doctor was super nice and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Everyone else was so unbelievably rude. They treat you as though you are in their way and wasting their time. I’m sitting in the middle island waiting to pay and three employees are finishing up a personal chat. Only when another customer who had also been waiting at the middle island got up and interrupted said conversation did the congregation disperse and I was able to pay and leave. This is only ONE example. Something similar to this or equally rude and unnecessary happens each time I have to get my exam. I used to go to the Pompton Plains location because of insurance but they, too, were the WORST. So because of insurance I tried the Totowa location. What is the hiring requirements for the staff?! Attitude and inattentiveness have to be on that list based on my horrid experiences. Maybe I need to consider different insurance or lasik to avoid this…

You ever hear the saying«What a bunch of Ya-Hoos?» Well, they all work here. Customer Service is terrible, wait time when calling is unacceptable and no one knows what is going on. I walked into the store today and was met with 3 blank stares, like no one wanted to actually help me. I won’t go venting about my experience here, let’s just say I won’t be back. Sad, cause the Dr.‘s here are great, shame you can’t get to see then without a hassle. And anyone that follows me knows that I don’t give bad reviews often, this was so bad I had to make an exception.

As the above review u went to the rt 23 location in pomptain for insurance purposes too … I felt rushed thru out my entire experience that I wouldn’t recommend this chain store but would stick to a private practice… The girls were all chatting about other things so loud and it was such a turn off … My husband went several times and they were closed early Aswell … Strange and not a good business move !!!
