Their items are expensive(–1 star) and not really my style; I stopped by only because of one of the store displays I saw. I don’t normally review businesses whose entire concept I don’t care much about either way, but the cashier was so incredibly warm and friendly that I felt the need to. Yes, I probably spent a grand total of 60 seconds with her, but some service people can’t keep their game face on even for that long, or so well.(She was the same way with the customer in front of me.) I’m not judging, but it does make for a much more pleasant experience, especially after I’d already been at the mall for 2 hours and that was literally my last stop(i.e., I was tired).

The customer service here is always outstanding. Employees are always willing to find sizes for me, check back-stock, help me find crap that I’ve dropped, etc. They have never said, «no». You can take as many items as you want into the dressing room, and they will wait on you like they are there just to serve you. Everyone is friendly and happy, even during the worst holiday rush. Returns are easy and very reasonable. Prices are higher than elsewhere, but that is really because most items from Anthropologie are built to last. This is a great place to buy gifts as well; they always have interesting things lining the shelves.

Anthropologie. It’s a store for girls that has mostly clothes, but plenty of housewares. So why am I reviewing it? Because it’s a fantastic store! It’s a great place to shop for gifts(for girls, of course), dishes, holiday decorations, furniture, home accents, and so forth. I have no shame in admitting I have several things in my home from an Anthropologie store. I got my parents four glass tumblers, that have milk in different languages blown into the glass. I also have a few small bowls for various things as well around the house. The prices are a bit above what you’d pay elsewhere, but the quality of their merchandise is high, and it’s certainly worth it. Also, they seem very preoccupied with owls. Note: The location in Annapolis is a bit larger, has more furniture for sale, and has a bit more stock.
