Casa Mia’s should be considered one of the hidden gems of Towson because it’s out of sight from the street. Despite going to college in the area, I didn’t realize this location existed until I started working across the street. I had only limited interaction previously with the White Marsh location. If you’re into sandwiches and subs — this is the place for you! With an extensive menu, you may not be up for eating your way through the menu. Can you take it on? Of special note is the Thursday special. They grill pit beef, turkey, and ham out front. The special comes with a sandwich, chips, and a drink for $ 9. If you do this, ask for the beef/turkey combo. It’s great! If it gets really cold or windy, they won’t grill. When in doubt, just call ahead and ask. They’re nice! I’d give them 5 stars, but I’ve never been a fan of the fried foods here with exception of the mozzarella sticks. The fries and chicken tenders have been borderline. I usually steer away from these items and get sandwich or sub when I go. Also, there’s limited seating so if you go with a group, try to beat the lunch hour rush! If you’re going to try this place out, make it a Thursday and get the pit beef!

I decided to have lunch here not knowing exactly what to expect. I was rather pleased when I walked in. Big menu with a lot of great looking options. They also had a salad area with an extensive array of salads and dressings. I went with a soup and sandwich. Turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Really really fresh tasting, unlike the processed crap you get at a lot of other sandwich places. Had the Maryland crab soup. Very tasty. Not super cheap but you get good quality. So much better than Panera or all those other chain sandwich places.

I rolled in here before a Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce meeting. The menu is extensive. I wasn’t quite sure what to chose, and I asked the young lady behind the counter. She answered my questions, offered a few suggestions and I settled on(surprise) a crab cake sandwich(when in Maryland, order crabs every chance you get). I got it to go. Everything I needed was in the bag(ketchup for my fries and hot sauce for, well, for everything). Nice staff, good prices and tasty food. Thumbs up!
