As always the salad was delicious. Interesting location, but makes sense for what’s in the area. But it’s a little unsettling when the guy making it comments under his breath to a coworker about«getting sick of dressing on the side» when you ask to have yours that way. I’d like to think I misheard, but when the coworker saw me look that way, it was confirmed. I’ll stick to Timonium and Cockeysville from here on out.

I visit Nalley Fresh about 3 – 5 times a week and it’s well worth it. They offer a huge selection of healthy options and different proteins daily. Whether it be a wrap, bowl, or salad, your meal at NF will be balanced and crafted using only fresh quality ingredients. The location is a bit tricky your first time around. But it’s easy to get in and out within minutes. I tend to order online so I have more time to pick my options and to avoid the line. The service is always friendly and helpful. They offer a rewards program too! Treat yo self to their chocolate chip cookies!

I was introduced to Nalley Fresh at the downtown Baltimore location and was super excited when the Towson location opened so close to home. The location is in an odd office park, at the back of one of the buildings with minimal signage. There’s no difference in how things are set up at this location– they all offer the same fresh ingredients. There’s a bit less decoration than other locations but also more seating available. I always do the«make your own» bowl and love putting together new combinations. I strongly recommend the toasted tortilla strips(I can’t recall the exact name) to add some texture to your wrap. I adore the buffalo chicken with the old bay sauce too. I’m always greeted quickly when I come in and for the most part, all the workers have been friendly. However, whenever I order online, my order is never ready when I come to pick it up. And each time I come in, there’s only 1 – 2 customers so I don’t believe it’s because they’re too busy. I have even waited an extra 30 minutes before picking up my order and it hasn’t been ready. I brought it up to the cashier one time and she claimed that because I ordered before 11, my order became lowest priority since they don’t serve lunch until then. I can understand not starting my order before 11 but she also said that customers and online orders that came in after 11 would be completed before mine. I’ve never had an issue with an online order at the other locations so I’m assume that this is a location-specific policy. It really doesn’t take that much time to make and it’s usually not that busy so it’s not a huge time burden to wait, but I think that others should be aware that it’s not usually the«pick up and go» type of deal that they might be expecting with online ordering. Even with the online order mess, I STRONGLY recommend that you try Nalley Fresh and experiment with making your own wrap!

I can’t speak about the food. I arrived here around 8:30 and they are only serving breakfast. Unfortunately, I have to be careful about what I eat and there are no breakfast options that I’m able to eat at this point in time. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened at a restaurant; however, they were physically unable to cut up lettuce and throw a few tomatoes on it. I would understand if they had been busy. They also don’t serve unsweetened tea until 10:30AM so I was unable to purchase a beverage. I was the only person in the establishment and feel that the staff made no effort to accommodate me… Throwing a salad together is rather easy and hardly time consuming. It’s very upsetting because I have heard such great things about this place. The only reason I didn’t rate it as one star… I didn’t get to try a salad.(I’ve heard they are amazing!) I’m very disappointed. I’m not trying to be harsh… It has just been my experience that most places try to accommodate people with special dietary needs. It’s just good business.

I had a sample from here at the Unilocal’s Rock and Soul event and it was so delicious I was dying to come for lunch. I was happy to discover that they just opened a location in Towson too(other locations include Hunt Valley and Downtown and more), lucky me! However, it is in an extremely odd location… in an office park. It also doesn’t scream personality when you enter(like the other locations do from the pictures I have seen). The set up is like Chipotle, but they have like 100 more options to choose from, and all are fresh fresh fresh! All of the ingredients are not only fresh, but very simplified… no added seasonings or salts, definitely staying healthy!!! Which is very reFRESHing from your typical lunch stop… see what I did there? Bowls and Salads are $ 8 with unlimited toppings. However, if you want a specialty meat, it goes up a $ 1 or $ 2… or $ 4 if you want to get the Old Bay shrimp! They do offer set menu options so you don’t have to worry/panic about what to put in your bowl. I HIGHLY recommend this option esp. for first timers because I decided to wing it and I definitely chose with my eyes and didn’t think about the end result, and my bowl wasn’t the best and definitely didn’t live up to what I remember from the Unilocal event. That being said, you can make a bad bowl… You are forewarned… it is like a Mongolian BBQ where you can make boring or an overly extravagant dish that doesn’t work together and there is no turning back(however, you can go back and get extra sauces like I did because mine was way too bland for my liking). Lastly, at the register you can use their iPad and sign up to receive text coupons and deals! DOIT! You can also order your bowl online and pick it up and it will all be ready for you! Like I said I was a little disappointed in my bowl, but everything else that people were getting looked so good, I need to get back there and try try again!

Went out for the grand opening of my favorite lunch spot(based on excellent experiences at the other two locations). The newest Nalley Fresh is in the Exchange building, an office park in West Towson. If you’ve not been before, here is a quick summary of how it works: Think Chipotle /Qdoba, but with salads and other«fresh» stuff… bowls, wraps, etc. You get in line, pick out a protein, and then pick a variety of veggies and toppings. At the end there are sauces, dressings and broth. Everything is made fresh, they say. Today I had the honey mustard pulled pork, which was actually quite good. I was in Memphis, Tenn. recently and so the bar for pulled pork(for me) is quite high. After that I got a bunch of vegetables: lettuce, onions, cucumbers, beets… to name a few and the«Boom Boom» sauce, a spicy dressing that is really spot on. I would highly recommend it if you like something spicy and light. The location is nice, especially for the office lunch crowd, it is in the rear of mid-rise office building with plenty of free parking. There are tables outside in the courtyard, or you can eat inside, as I did. The inside is a simple, but clean, with TVs and some kind of upbeat soft jazz music playing. All things considered, this is great place, and I’m happy to see them open in Towson.
