This was once a nice operation under previous ownership. Alas, the ownership has changed and the present owner is rude and unfriendly, making me feel like I was trying to take advantage of her and swindle her when presenting a 10% discount I have via a purchase made that has this discount agreement with the store under its previous owner. Upon explaining how the owner made me feel her response was a cold«Well I don’t know you.» Are you kidding me? You are in SALES. Get a clue. Customer service and customer relations. That’s a strange way to foster relationships and I have worked in top sales-oriented retail environments like Neiman’s. It’s one thing to go treat people with exquisite respect — especially when buying astronomically expensive shoes(which is all that is there), although everyone should be treated nice when buying products from a retailer. The owner, Emilie, is inexcusably rude. If you feel compelled to go, make sure you don’t work with her as this innocent sales assistants are helpful and it’s not their fault. But bottom line no one should be treated like this, especially with outrageously expensive shoes.
