Good staff, nice building other than that it’s a waste of time if you are looking for «good» bbq.
Burnt ends appetizer was tasty although small for the price.
Very overpriced for the portion sizes, brisket had been cut and setting out for quite some time (evident of each piece being dried out), ribs burned, dry and lacking flavor.
My garlic mashed potatoes and collard greens were tasty and the cornbread muffin was excellent.
The sauces that they have here are very tasty and I would recommend getting some of these for use at home! The «Devils spit»!is my favorite followed closely by the habanero sauce (nice and spicy!!).

the food and service was excellent Yay! we ate in the bar that staff is excellent please keep them! Elly Asia was our server she is delightful and Excellent server! We waited over an hour at Texas RoadHouse and then we checked on our reservation and they said another 30 minutes I hit The wall. never been to Daves so thought we would try it. GREAT! you should have someone pass out flyers at Texas Road House. My son and I came here food excellent Service great! Fast and Yummy and I even took some home for my husband who owns a restaurant in San Francisco” best BBQ ever «he said. We will be back. And the manager was present and did a great job too. my only complaint was it was a little chilly in the bar I think the Air was on But overall Great JOB!!!

I love their Jalepeno Mac & Cheese, The baked beans are so delicious as well. If your hungry for homecooked bbq that hits the spot just right this is your place.

I’m giving this place 3 stars only because our previous trips have been great. We went out here for my dad’s 50^th birthday last night and the service was terrible. Our waitress left out on her break without telling either us or any management, leaving us waiting to get our order taken for about half an hour before we finally asked someone what was going on. When we finally got a new waiter, the food came to us pretty fast but was not as good as usual. The pulled chicken «sandwich» we ordered was actually more of a burger, and the bread tasted as if it had been frozen for who knows how long. Really disappointed.

Never going back to this fucking dump. Bad service actually more like no service. Food was awful. I ordered the the salad with brisket, the lettuce was great the brisket was unedible. How the fuck you gonna be bbq master and serve me chunks of coal on my salad. Later Dave

I hate to say this place has really been letting us down lately. The last few times service is so lacking. Management needs to be aware that one bartender cannot serve a crowded bar and the outside seating and going and fetching the food. I don’t blame the bartender, I blame the management, we had to wait forever for service last night, it was a real bummer and we won’t be back for a bit, especially in the evening. Later Dave!

Man this place is all of a sudden BAD.
Staffing levels are really low for a Thursday night, 10 minutes in the bar area just to get a drink, the bartender running around like crazy, not her fault but poor management

I love this place. The BBQ is very tasty, and the service is polite and fast. I usually order the ‘Dave Favorite” burger, and get the beef mixed with brisquit before grilling. One of the best menu items IMO. My daughter gets the Pulled Pork sandwhich and it always pleases. I’ve ordered ribs as well, and I’ve been happy with those as well. Lots of room, no long wait times, and great setting. I will gladly come here instead of Texas Road house on any day.

We were there waiting to be seated and we wanted a booth and there it come someone telling the hostess «make them way 15 minutes» when there were three booths free. Then another girl came and said that they have only two servers hence not all the booths were open to be seated.
One star because of that rude server with no manner telling the host to just make us wait

We ordered the feast for two with ribs, chicken and pork. We substituted the fries for garlic mash and the Cole slaw for macaroni.
Service was good, don’t get me wrong.
We love bbq food so our expectations were a bit high. I came out disappointed, wishing I was near a Lucilles (google it).
The ribs and pork were too dry. The beans were good, the corn on the cob seemed as though it might have been boiled for too long. The garlic mash and macaroni were just gross, specially the macaroni.
Save your money, go somewhere else…

I will never go here again. The service SUCKED. We only saw are waitress 2’s once to take are orders and once when we had flag here down for the receipt and eve than another server got it for us. Couldn’t get a refill to save are life’s. Other service weren’t willing to help until we complained. Than they were cleaning a table behind us dropped plates and broke them and covered the back of me BBQ sauce. No apology didn’t say a damn thing. Ruined a new pair of shoes and a new shirt. Emailed corporate no response. My meal was over 110. They were lucky I have morals and ethics unlike this restaurant and staff and just didn’t walk out without paying.

This place is amazinggggg! Dinner for two feeds more than just two. You have to try the fried pickles. My new favorite. Ribs are always juicy and on point. Their Devil’s spit sauce is spicy but flavorful. If it’s busy and you are not with any kids, sit at the bar. Wait time is less and service is still great.

I loved their bbq and especially their Mac and cheese. I just recently planned a party and had them cater it. The food and service were excellent and they were right on time. I highly recommend.

Dave You Suck!
My Colleague just reported to me that he had the worst Birthday experience thus so far in his life! His cake not only went to the wrong table, but the table it went to didn’t even report this incident. Who does this? We will never return again! Ass Clowns !!

The service was poor. Our waiter went on his lunch half through our dinner and introduced us to our replacement and then we nearly never saw either of them again. Food was ok.

How can someone really justify a one star review? Normally with bad service, but we did not experience that. The service was friendly and attentive. In this case the food was REALLY THAT BAD. I promise you I am not one to exaggerate.
Allow me to explain:
The burnt end appetizer was pretty good, and gave us high hopes for the meal to come.
We ordered a brisket dinner and a pulled pork dinner. With corn, greens and beans.
The Pork was cooked perfectly, but was rubbed it what may well have been pure rock salt for how over the top salty it was. Whats more they covered it in the worst bbq sauce we’ve ever had. It tasted like the sauce in the cups from a Mc Donalds.
The Brisket was not bad. Very juicy but also rubbed in the insanely salty rub. It tasted more like prime rib than a brisket, which isn’t really a bad thing.
The sides were maybe the worst part. The corn on the cob must have cooked for hours, because it was just mush. The collard greens had a foul taste to them, like something was rotten. And the beans were in a sauce that to me just tasted like ketchup.
For $ 25+ per person you could eat just about anywhere else and have a better experience. I urge you to avoid Famous Dave’s. Please do not waste your money as we did.

Downhill recently. New Management ?
Out of items, over cooked, it’s just not as good overall as it has been in the past.

Umm… Yum! This is almost actual southern food. I like to come here and have some comfort food every once in a while — ribs, mac and cheese, and cornbread (along with sweet tea, of course), and then top it off with the giant portion of banana pudding, complete with Nilla Wafers.

Went here on the 4^th of July and the food was great only problem was that the waitress by the name of Danielle short changed my gf on the amount and so she didn’t get a tip. So beware customers always check the amount you are receiving back

Wow! Never fail. I love it here. Food was delish! Great customer service. Spacious ., great for big gathering. Overall I’ll come here again
