Straw Hat Pizza

This owner keeps having mine and other Unilocal reviewers comments removed. The conditions are unsanitary, food doesnt seem to be handled properly via his instagram and in my opinion not the greatest or safe for our young not so experienced employees.
Again my opinion and for my opinion on Unilocal dp not thinl it should be removed because the owner disagrees.

Potato wedges are Ore Ida brand and just heated up. Chicken wings are Foster Farms that come from Costco and just heated up. Too much clutter in the arcade section. TVs are not mounted straight on the wall. The chicken garlic pizza with white sauce that I ordered barely had any sauce and had a ton of garlic though.

I like it the kids can come and play and adults to have beer or wine, good salad and wings, and u can book a room for a party and its never full which is great

I don’t see how people are saying this is the best pizza UGHHHHHHHH! This was our first time ordering, We ordered pizza, they were 1hr and a half late and when when we called to see what was going on the guy was completely rude. Trying to call back to speak with another manager but from the other reviews seems we won’t get much help for the rude staff. The pizza tasted like it was left over from last night. My kids wouldn’t even eat we would rather have little caesars and will never ever order from here again.

Decent pricing also helped that it was ½ price Tuesday. Pizza tasted good I would reccomend here if your looking for a quality pizza at a good price.

So I came to straw hat at 1:45. The all u can eat stops at 2pm. I paid my money and ate some pizza. Every time I would get up to get a slice of pizza they would not have any ready. I had to wait 5 – 8 minutes before I could grab another slice. Then 2:20 comes up and I look and no more pizza. I ask for more slices and he (vic) manager says it after 2 already. I paid my money before 2. They took it. Something isn’t cool. Cheap azz people.

The customer service here is great! They are very nice and want you to get the best deals they have to offer. The gentleman at the front desk was very courteous and let me know a better deal they were offering rather than use my coupon. The food is great at that! And I always remember celebrating my birthdays here as a little girl :)

This place sucks, it’s dirty and the owner does not clean very well. He’s stingy and a creep. All the «good» pictures on here are from him. I would never eat here again ever. I would rather have little ceasers than this rat hole

Place its pretty dirty, pizza have a different taste that other straw hat pizza. My wife order a chicken sandwich and it most look like a veggie sandwich very por on chicken I think I won’t be coming back

Thank you for saving my nieces birthday party! She had a party booked at arcade zone next door and they failed on her (separate Unilocal) and her daughters special 7^th birthday party planned since November. They were gracious enough to let us bring the party here. We are having a blast here! Great pizza. Great staff. Even an arcade!!!

This was my first time here at Straw Hat pizza in Tracy. And I am a bit of a clean freak. And this place was just to dirty for me. The booth seats were taped to repair wear and tear. They had a little game area for the kids which was nice. But the arcade games were filthy. The legs on the chairs were dirty. On the upside, the kitchen looked clean and the pizza was good. This was my first and last time here.

Pizza is not that good. hot hats are small now compared to when the old owner owned it. Staff isn’t too friendly either. groovy twists are good depending who makes it. The soda is great. Salad bar is hardly replaced when produce runs out.

Chicken bacon ranch pizza is the bomb! Also the potato wedges are amazing!

When we went, the salad bar was half filled and the lettuce was browning. Needless to say no salad that day.
We went with a sports team and had set up a time for our team. We pre-​ordered all the pizzas for the team 2 days in advance. It took tm an hour and a half tt get us our pizzas. We had to clean off our own tables when we got there. I tried to talk to the manager but they were no help but to give me the owners phone number. I called him and was told that he wasn’t there so he couldn’t help me. Really??? The pizza was OK (the only reason they get one star) but the service sucks!

Do yourself a favor and just go to Mountain Mikes.
I went here after school with my mom and baby cousin one day and the place was empty but it was annoying that there were about three tables that were filled with plates and yet they didn’t get cleaned until about 30 minutes later. We ordered a pizza and potato wedges. there were two workers there at the time one girl and the owner. As we were waiting for the pizza i took my cousin to play in the little arcade area they had which is a complete waste because they offer tickets for some of the games but then the prizes are pieces of crap 30 tickets = a tiny ball 100 tickets would still equal something cheap like a sticker it was worthless but she did love riding the little car thing. our pizza came a while later and BURNT potato wedges. the pizza was average and the potato wedges were hard so we returned them, but, we couldn’t get our money back because the owner wasn’t there so we waited and waited and about half an hour later we settled for a new batch of potato wedges that were still burnt. as we were in the car the owner shows up in the parking lot and gives us lousy coupons for next time…

It was alright, nothing special. Pizza was well cooked, and fast. Price was not high at all.
Service was fast, and the restaurant was clean. The place wasn’t crowded at all, so I got to eat dinner and watch ESPN in peace and quiet.
I’m sure I’ll be back again soon.

I’ve never went here all the years I lived in tracy. I always seen it, and it always seemed packed on weekends or when they have specials.
The reason why i went here is because I had a certificate from
and i was like why not.
First off the pizza was okay. I know it was near closing time, but i wish they tried more. I was a little dry, and not enough cheesiness to it. We also ordered the potato wedges and they were also dry and salty.
When I first walked into this place I immediately thought of restaurant impossible. When they give make overs to rundown places. I mean It’s not bad but i see holes in the seats, the walls, and dust everywhere. I’m no where near a neat freak, but damn I hope the kitchen where they make my pizza wasn’t as bad.
Overall, an okay place. I would go again just because the pizza’s are reasonable and why not if you have a coupon ! (:

Pretty good pizza, although the garlic parmesan twists were bland, the salad was fresh and rather large. Delivery was quick and driver was friendly. The phone order was difficult to place due to it being quite loud at the pizza place it took about 15 minutes to get it taken.

Love this pizza place. The Guys are friendly and make some dang good pizza. The Hubby and I love it!

It’s been forever since I’ve had Straw Hat. 23+ years approximately. We were on our way to Lake Comanche one Friday evening and knowing that we wouldn’t get to the campsite till sometime around 10pm, it was better that we ate something first rather than trying to start up the grill upon arrival. We didn’t want to take too much time out of our 2-​hour drive (we had already driven for about an hour) so I called in the order. I was hoping to get into the restaurant and just start grubbing but we were a little ahead of pace so we waited for about 10 minutes.
The two pizzas came out, a king size «the works» and a large veggie. The toppings were generous, the crust was as good as I remembered, just kidding, I couldn’t even recall from 23+ years ago. I could only take on 3 slices and I was done. With 2 pitchers of beer, this was a pleasant meal.
When we got to the campsite, a couple of our other campers whom had gotten there earlier in the day dug into the leftover slices and were agreeably satisfied. Maybe they were just hungry because we were the cars that had all the food, haha.
