My fiancé found The Cutting Room for me here on Unilocal (this is his account). I haven’t had my hair colored in over 8 years & never in a professional salon, so I was pretty nervous since I was going on a trip in a week. I linked up with Veronica, who was able to fit me into her schedule last minute for an ash/​grey balayage. My hair is dark brown & I showed her a couple pics of what I was looking for. I didn’t know what to expect, so I trusted her judgment fully & needless to say I’m glad I did. She was able to achieve the perfect color for me! She also gave great tips on how to care for it afterward. I wanted a trim a couple days before leaving for my trip & she was able to squeeze me in once again! She fixed the crooked layers I previously had & finished the appointment with a beautiful blowout. I am beyond impressed with how accommodating she is & will be going back to her for all my cut, color & styling needs. She’s the best & super sweet on top of that. Highly recommend her & this salon. They always make you feel right at home.

I have been going to Jerica for 6 years and there is no one else I would trust my hair to. It is not easy to get that perfect blonde color every time but she does! Even when I want to change things up I trust her to let her decide what to do, because she knows what works on my fine straight hair and what doesn’t! If you are look for a reliable, affordable, and talented stylist Jerica is your girl!!!

This place is so great. I had an appointment with Veronica. I’ve been coming to her for like 3 years now and I must say she is the absolute best in the game. She got me gradually from black to a beautiful sandy blonde and she always works with me on what to do next! I’ve been in love with my hair ever since she laid her hands on it. My hair has been through a lot and it’s still oh so healthy and in the best shape ever! I can’t say that for many other places but she is definitely my go to for color, cut, styling, and I’m in love with her blowouts! Book with her she is absolutely amazing!!!

I was thrilled to be going to a stylist that had been recommended to me. I haven’t had a haircut in a long while (the one person I found in the area moved away and I am relatively new to the area). She asked me if I wanted ombré or highlights I said ombré which is painting and so a relatively easy process … She was almost an hour late (she called the salon but nobody called us). We understood it was out of her control. I told her the haircut I wanted and she said she understood. I have no idea why my hair took so long. But we were there from 9 AM to almost 3 PM at one point with the dye on my hair she took another client (which usually is fne) but spent forever foiling her hair and my head was starting to itch from the chemicals. My hair came out totally differently than expected. And, the time investment was ridiculous. Sitting around and sitting and sitting … and the total bill 240 dollars for a bad haircut and bad color

I came here in April right before my husband and I left for our Hawaii trip. I cannot express how grateful I am to have had Robin as my stylist! I’ve been getting my hair cut places where I live in lake tahoe and around there for the past 4 years with it being butchered every time. Even when I payed top dollar and showed pictures of exactly what I wanted. This time was a completely different experience. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and offered a drink. Robin sat me down and didn’t rush even though the prom Rush was about to start. She took the time to really understand what I wanted and made my hair look the best it’s EVER looked! My husband couldn’t stop saying how much he loved my hair the entire trip! Thank you robin! Also I will be waiting until I visit the valley again to have my hair cut by Robin only from now on!

This review is long overdue. I got yet another fantastic haircut today from Yolonda and it dawned on me that I had never taken the time to praise her publicly (my fault for taking The Cutting Room for granted). Yolonda has continually delivered a great cut along with displaying a great attitude. Her professionalism and positive approach is echoed by the entire staff. I’m not sure how she does it, but she always manages to tame my wild hair… others have failed miserably in the past. I am a long time satisfied customer and I highly recommend Yolonda/​The Cutting Room.

Brittani is awesome! Love how she does mine & my daughters hair, we always feel fabulous after we leave & my daughter doesn’t ever want to go to anyone else, she loves Brittani!

This is my second time here! Didn’t want to review the first time until my second visit.
I LOVE Brittani! She’s so sweet and bubbly. Also, very helpful and supportive with your hair decisions. The first appointment I had with her was to get an ombré balayage. I wanted an ash blonde color, but she informed me it’ll take a few sessions to get to it. I love that she told me beforehand unlike other stylists that tell you they’ll do it but it comes out as what you DIDN’T want! My hair came out looking way better than it did before anyways so it was all good. Now for my second visit, I’m going for a rose gold shade all over :) my next appointment will be something simple and subtle. Brittani does not disappoint. Go to her! You can just text her for an appointment! :)

Been looking for a salon for a while, I made an appt for a haircut, after waiting for 30 min they tell me my stylist is running behind, really?! I was a stylist, if you know your running behind you tell your next client right away! Maybe they can go get a cup of coffee, reschedule or run to the store but don’t keep them waiting like that!

I came in today, 2÷12÷15, and I had an appointment with Alicia. I havent had my hair done in YEARS. I didnt know what i wanted and i was very overwhelmed. She made me feel comfortable and she gave me alot of suggestions. My hair is very frizzy and long down to my bottom. I didnt want to lose my length but i was in need of a super trim. Long story short i went with a trim, bangs, and an ombré style. Alicia did a wonderful job. She did what i asked and didnt push me to do things i didnt want. I will definitely return to see her very soon!
The place is clean and relaxing on the inside. The other staff were very nice and courteous.
The only thing it needs is a hanging sign outside on the awnings. Maybe i missed it… either way its very easy to find.

I just moved to the Tracy area and was searching Unilocal for the best Hair Salon. I ran across The Cutting Room and it had great reviews so I wanted to give it a go. I had an appointment with Robin and she was awesome. She made me feel comfortable and also helped me decide on what hair style would be good for me (I had a couple in mind.) I was so happy with the result and it was a great price. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I started coming here after leaving my hairdresser after many, many years. I was nervous, but needed a change. Bring in Brittani. She’s super friendly, as are all the stylists at the salon. Brittani definitely knows what she’s doing, especially when it comes to her coloring technique. If you’re looking for someone skilled in balayage or ombré, check her out! I highly recommend her!

Robyn Del Toro is beyond amazing! She takes her time with her clients and assures to provide a high level of customer service. She colored my hair for the first time and the results were awesome. She taught me how to care for the color and shared an amazing product line with me.

I moved from New York two years ago and have been literally looking for a new stylist ever since. Robin cut my hair today and did an AMAZING job! She was also super-​friendly and flexible about what I wanted done with my mess-​of-​a-​head I walked in with lol. I would highly recommend her and the salon for anyone looking for an enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back :)

Brittani!!! Brittani!!! Brittani! I heard everyone raving about this salon. Out of all the salons in tracy, this one definitely tops them all! Brittani was fantastic! I have tried so many other people and i never get what I want. Brittani has the technique and style that many hair dressers lack. She is professional and is super friendly! I also was kindly greeted by the receptionist who also made my experience feel special. Definitely coming back!

I came to see Yolanda for highlights and color. I had to wait over a month for my appointment. So please keep in mind to book way in advance. Yolanda was hospitable as always. I got to meet her family. Before she sent her son to Barista’s she asked if i wanted a coffee. I thought that was very nice and thoughtful. She took her time with applying the color, which was important since i was going from almost a blonde to a brown. I love her passion for delivering great results. She kept me very involved in the process, which i loved! I had not seen in her in so long because it was hard to pick an appointment that also accommodated my work and school schedule. I have decided i will ask for the day off to accommodate her availability, she is just that good.

This review is for Robin. I initially started going to Robin about 2 years ago, when she had her shop in Mountain House. She was known as a good hair stylist in our little town and I heard nothing but great reviews plus she was very affordable.
I have been really happy with all her services and her affordable prices. She has a lot of experience and does good work when it comes to coloring, highlighting and layering.
She takes her time to explain things to you in a thorough manner and takes her time when doing hair, she doesn’t rush through hair jobs which is a great plus.
Overall, I am very happy with Robin and would recommend her.
