I dont know why all the bad reviews, although I only visit here at night time. Never any issues. I will say that the prices have jumped up though. $ 2 for a chilli dog almost $ 3.50 for a order of chilli cheese fries.

This place is truly a joke, I came here because I had one of those school discount cards. It states «Buy a Chili Dog get one free» (no mention of limitations) so being that I was buying for the family I got two of the 5 for 5.55 deals which is now 5.95. No big deal being that the second set should be free with the first set… That was until I get to the window and hand Veronica my discount card. originally my total was roughly 16.00 because of other things in my order. She then tells me my new total is 14 and some change. It doesn’t take a mathematician to know that isn’t right. When I asked her shouldn’t it be closer to 10 – 11.00 and she tells me «No, you only get one for free.» So I said «Doesn’t that seem misleading since it doesn’t state that there is a limit of one». she quickly tells me «Well it doesn’t say you can get 5 either»… I was shocked that this is Weinerschnitzel’s idea of customer service. So I said can I have your managers name because that doesn’t seem right that they would advertise a coupon and not tell you there is a limit… She tells me well you can ask for Zach he’s the owner. When they bring me my new order because I wasn’t going to pay for the 4 free hotdogs. At which time I can hear the MOD (Manager on Duty) talking to Veronica and clearly hear her say «Oh this is the guy, F*** him tell him he can do whatever he wants, Zach wont give a S***…» That’s were I pretty much decided that I was not going to visit Zach because if this is the type of Customer Service he finds acceptable not only for the cashier but his Managers no less I would be beating my head against the wall.

I am really confused by the bad reviews I have been in Tracy for 15 years. I love this place. Yes food takes a little longer than McDonald but that is because it’s fresh not sitting pre cooked. Do you notice how hot your food always is? The owner works there almost every day. Over the years I have sat inside and he comes over and has very kind conversation. In the drive through he is always on point. Very very kind always. I honestly go there all the time just because he is so kind and that makes a huge difference. My orders are always correct. Yes it’s a little more expensive than other fast food but you get what you pay for.
Any owner that actually works along side his employees every day and is so hard working deserves to have great business and traffic flow. I highly recommend this establishment.

Been here in Tracy for 7 years… this location is the worst… skimpy on the chili fries… hot dogs are cheap looking for the price… so so expensive… the manager you tell him you have an app coupon and he says he doesnt honor that… what the heck… I signed up through the app number at his location… hes so cheap with his coupons. …never will come to this location again… oh I go to the one in livermore off of Vasco Rd… such a nice manager thr… he even gave me a 10% discount card to use every single time i go there. awesome location and they give you plenty of chili fries… lol.

Came here around 10 pm. Nobody inside or in the drive thru. Walked in got my order in like 10 minutes then got home and ate my chili cheese dogs. They charge extra for cheese! And the hotdog could be softer! The hot dog was a lil rubbery like when they been cooked already and forgotten. My chili cheese fries were the same! The fries were really hard n stale! That sucked. And the prices for fast food r expensive especially when they give u old food and don’t care about their customers obviously.

Today I had the worst meal ever that I can remember. That is if I could call it a meal. Terrible is the word to describe our experience. The hotdog was tiny and looked really bad, and my wife had the BBQ cheeseburger that looked so bad I wouldn’t have eaten it. Flat and so soggy I don’t remember ever seeing anything that bad. For the same money we could have had a nice lunch at a Chinese restaurant. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place like a plaque.

Came in here for lunch the other day and ordered 2 bacon wrapped street dogs and fries. It took about 15 mins. to get my order out. I was the only one in there and ordered first before another drive-​thru customer came by. The lady had my dogs ready but then she had to fry the french fries… I was like seriously? I’ve been standing here for the past 10 minutes! Took FOREVER! If you know the fries take a little longer to cook why wouldn’t you throw them bad boys in first? I should of just went through the drive-​thru. The workers are seriously slow here at this location.

Absolutely horrible service and the hot dogs that came out were smashed and looked like they had been run over. The girl behind the counter was too busy making google eyes at someone outside to even pay attention to what I ordered and forgot to add my daughters items. When I asked her to add it she got very irritated. When I later walked up to the counter to ask for ketchup because the container was empty, she actually «huffed» and walked off. I never got ketchup.

worked here here for many years and the manager WILL overcharge you. adding on miscellaneous amounts that is robbing customers of their hard earned money… only reason why this place is still in business! dont bring coupons to this place… you get less amounts with coupons… bad business if you ask me.

Love the polish sandwhich, bread is a little soggy from pickle. Sauerkraut was great with a tomato delicious!

Extremely cheap with coupons, but you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this to anyone because it tastes like trans fat.

Boy, where to start… The owner is rude as all hell! He is very hesitant about accepting coupons, and pushy to sell sodas. All I order from here is chili fries and this guy gets super skimpy on them! I advise to stay away from this specific location! I will no longer come here until its ran by new management!

I can’t remember what exactly we ordered, but it came out to be much more than what we expected for the amount that we received. Just enough for the two of us and our 1 ½ year old. My honest opinion, $ 18 is a bit steep for an order for 2 adults and a toddler. I noticed little things that we get charged for like the tomato and cheese and kraut at .30 cents each. I really thought that was a part of the hot dog meal my husband ordered.
The night we ate here the manager didn’t seem too pleased about it, and you could tell he was stressed out about the how busy their drive through was. How do I know this? Because he told us. As soon as we got there, he looks and says «You’re not ordering yet are you? cause we have a lot of people in the drive through» Totally fine, cause I wasn’t ready to order… but the energy he gave off wasn’t friendly. And I wasn’t the only one who felt that way.
My personal opinion, though keep in mind I’m not the hugest fan of hot dogs or chili dogs… I don’t feel that the food we received was worth what we paid. We probably won’t come back here, unless we have some craving for 5 chili cheese dogs for $ 5 — but that’s just not likely to happen.

I’m surprised to see such bad revives for this joint. It is a typical fast food place. You’re not going to get fine dining cuisine from a weinerschnitzel. That being said, the people at the drive thru were super nice, my order was hot, correct and what I expected from a fast food restaurant. I will return for the chili cheese fries especially. Yum.

The chili fries are super skimp… waaaay smaller than any weinersneitchzel I’ve been to. Also they don’t give you a detailed receipt of your order, which I think is a little sketchy. You just get a receipt of the total. I love chili fries but I’ll never go back to this location.

We went through the drive-​thru late and had a large group (6) and ordered a lot (you know those nights). The drive-​thru guy was very patient and courteous. Our order came perfectly and was done well.

6 Corn Dogs and 6 Chili Cheese Dogs for $ 6 bucks. My kids Love that deal and so does my wallet.

I was meeting an associate in Tracy to do a transaction and was a little Hungry. So I stopped by Wienerschnitzel for a Snackie Snack. I went to the Register and ordered the 5 Chili dog special for $ 5.55 and a soda for $ 1.79. The Cashier asked me for $ 15. I questioned the amount, Because $ 5.55 +1.79 does not = $ 15. LOL This confused the Cashier who also was the Crew Chief. So she called the Mgr over. The Mgr pulled a Calculator out and did the Math and came out with the right amount. which even more confused the Cashier. I then pulled out a Discover Card and the Cashier says We Don’t Take Discover. The Mgr Laughs and says yes we do and finished the Transaction.
Its pretty scary people don’t know simple math now. They rely on machinery way too much.
Plus not knowing what form of payments they accept poor training.
Those Hot dogs were Tiny but they did the Job.

I went in a few days ago, it was okay, but smaller portioned. I had a chili dog, fries, and chocolate shake and it felt like a kid’s meal at McDonald’s.
It was a bit expensive for what I ordered. The place was real clean and the service was very nice.
I guess it was okay, I’m sure I’ll be back again sometime.

Sometimes its just easier to get fast food…
