This BBQ is by far the best I’ve ever eaten. Thebservice is great and welcoming. And the owner frequents the place greeting customers and forming relationahips within the community.

I ordered BBQ Joes for catering for my company outing and they did a PHENOMENAL job. We were able to feed 100 people well, and giver everyone leftovers. We ordered everything from the mac and cheese, peach cobbler, bbq pork, bbq chicken, greens and more. They were extremely helpful in setting up for our event and the sauces were great!

Lovely place. Clean, friendly and they have daily specials. Much better than the other bbq places nearby.

My parents live a couple of miles from here and it’s a family favorite for them and for us when we visit. Great food, good portions, reasonable prices and their deliciously unique«hush puppies» served with all meals make this a BBQ joint to try. They have their own«Joe Sauce» and they also serve Lexington upon request. Every time I’ve been here it’s packed, which tells you a lot. The service and staff is very, very, very friendly, personable and helpful. Not a place for those on a diet, but a 9 out of 10 on the yummy-ometer! Very convenient access from/to I-85.

I have been to the other location inHP and reviewed and I feel like the Trinity location is just a little bit better. Great hot dogs and you can’t go wrong with the brisket-ever. It is the best.

This location deserves to bear the name given it based on the precedent set at the other location for great food, service, value, and above all else… GREAT Q! I gave this location a try even though it is farther away than the original for me, and was not at all disappointed. I will probably continue to frequent the original as it is more convenient, but would definitely go to this one just as often if it happened to be closer. There appears to be no difference as best as I can tell, other than this location being newer with better décor and more space. A few tips for first timers or out-of-towners: 1. The«Joe» sauce goes on everything, but don’t skip out on the other sauces they have. The south carolina style sauce has a mustard base, but my wife and I love to dip fries or hush puppies in it, and the Q is good in it too. It is more like honey mustard than deli mustard. 2. Speaking of «Joe» if you order«The Joe» expect a monster of a sandwich, that cannot really be eaten as a sandwich because it is so large. However, if you are just in the mood for Q and Slaw and a lot of it, this is by far the best value on the menu. My wife and I like sides… and the Joe does not come with a side(doesn’t need to), so sometimes she orders a veggie plate and I share the giant pile of meat and slaw on my plate with her so we get a variety. 3. The fries here are the best in the area. Hands down. So crispy on the outside, but the inside is creamy like a mashed potato almost. Chili cheese fries here are an indulgence, but incredible. 4. Large tea here is $ 1. A waitress told me that once at the other location. You are better off ordering a large tea anytime you come in, as unless you get a combo, the regular tea is more expensive. Most of the time you can get a large tea, and the server will give you the combo price regardless. 5. It is not listed, but there is a 2 hot dog combo here. If ordering 2 hot dogs, side, and drink… the total rings up as a hot dog combo that comes in cheaper than the price of each item a la carte. Also, you have an option in your HOTDOGTYPE. You can go pork or all-beef. I have tried both and prefer the pork actually, even though I’d usually prefer beef. All the pork is locally sourced(including hot dogs) and tastes great.

Well my mom inspired the rest of our family to come and give this place a try as it is fairly new. Right off the highway and a wonderful stop, welcoming staff, attentive and very courteous. Plus not only that but the most important item the food, awesome. If you enjoy over easy they have you covered. The best over easy eggs I’ve ever had, and no crispy burnt edges. Then the big joe, just an explosion of good southern food. The biscuits take me back to my grandmas homemade biscuits. Light, fluffy and perfection, are all I can say. Don’t forget to ask for the options because they have a few secrets such as side of tomatoes or oatmeal. The grits were thick with a wonderful butter flavor in them. And I asked for crispy bacon and got exactly what I asked for. The waitress I had was awesome, treated everyone equally and attentively. Giving the true feelings of southern hospitality I truly enjoy and sometimes seldom receive in the area now adays. Plus the male bathroom was very clean(big plus for me) I don’t give out five stars often but they deserve it. Angela was amazing, awesome and can’t say enough about our service

Wow. As a southerner, this place is amazing. The food is amazing. The service is absolutely amazing. I got the ribeye steak breakfast and it was so delicious. Their biscuits are huge. Their drinks come is quart sized containers. It is a typical southern joint, but don’t underestimate it! Also, their eggs seem like the are poached, which is awesome for me. I love this place and will be coming back.

WOW… I COULDTASTETHEMEAT. Many times in NC you get a very strong sauce taste and other times the barbeque in NC is not meaty at all. This was WELLDONEBARBECUE. I hadn’t ever been to BBQ Joe’s but I was hungry and looking on Unilocal for somewhere good to eat. BBQ Joe’s had some great reviews and I was in the mood so I tried it. It was raining and I was in a hurry so I decided, since they had a drive-thru I would use it. I was suprised to find a staff that was faster than most McDonalds that I have ever gone through. The lady who served me was fast, friendly and precise with everything that she did. I decided to take a chance and order okra with a sandwich as sometimes restaurants have greasy fried okra and sometimes sandwiches are soggy because of over-sauced BBQ. However, when I got my sandwich with okra I was shocked. Nothing was very greasy and the sandwich that I got was prepared perfectly. It was a very good amount of food and only cost me a little over $ 6. I will definitely be returning to BBQ Joes but next time I’ll go in and enjoy a nice meal with the wife. I would highly recommend if you like BBQ and are ok with a tiny bit of sweetness and not a lot of vinegar which is my preference.

Our first lunch at the second BBQ Joe’s location was very, very nice. The restaurant, which opened in July 2015, is located on NC Highway 62 just off Finch Farm Road, and occupies the relatively new building which formerly housed Smokey T’s BBQ& Broasted Chicken. The restaurant is well sized, bright and well lit. We’ve come to enjoy BBQ Joe’s smoked items(especially the Chopped Pork and the Beef Brisket), but we also are very fond of their country cooking choices — and most especially the Chicken Fried Steak and their Country Style Steak, the Thursday daily special. The Chicken Fried Steak is made with quality meat, is very well breaded and fried, and the exceptional White Gravy brings the whole dish together, as it should. The Country Style Steak is its equal, and for the same reasons — the rich, brown gravy is amazingly flavorful. And in both dishes, the portions are nice. The sides are a mixed bag, but the Mashed Potatoes(with gravy, of course) are real, and they are spectacular(as Teri Hatcher might opine). The HPs are nice also, with a touch of sweetness. The service here was the equal of the original location, at the very least.

They have good food, not great, but they have no competition close by, their service is that southern charm for the fellows, therefore I always get my order to go. Again, good food, just not great. Enjoy!

BBQ Joes is factored into our monthly budget. They have BBQ beef brisket, their tator salad is amazing. There is nothing bad. Usually have to wait to get a seat. Just opened their 2nd location. The pork chop special on Friday is to die for. 1″ thick and can be cut with the plastic fork.

I have eaten at BBQ Joe’s several times now and love it. I am a sucker for good BBQ and Joe’s delivers in spades. There are two restaurant locations in the area, this one being the newest. My usual BBQ joint has great pork, but no brisket, and that leaves me wanting. BBQ Joe’s has both and I’m thrilled. Wife and I usually start with loaded cheese fries for an appetizer and they’re awesome. The star of this plate are the fries, which even when loaded with chilli and cheese, remain crispy and delicious. For the main event, I opted for the two meat plate. I ordered the pulled pork and brisket. Both were smokey and loaded with flavor. The portion sizes are definitely great. I usually end up bringing some home for a snack later. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area craving delicious BBQ without breaking the bank.

BBQ Joe’s deserves five stars hands down. This is a new location for them. It has a decent sized parking lot and plenty of seating inside. I was intrigued by their menu. In addition to the run of the mill pulled pork that most local BBQ joints offer, they also have ribs and brisket. Ribs and brisket are definitely a little bit outside of the typical NCBBQ box for these parts. I ordered the Joe sandwich(pulled) with a side of hushpuppies. It was an easy choice because the menu boasted it being the largest BBQ sandwich in the Triad offering up a half a pound of meat. It did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations. The pulled pork was piled high on two thick slices of Texas toast. The pork itself had a nice, smokey flavor and was very moist. The BBQ slaw was roughly chopped and had good flavor. The hushpuppies were fried a nice, deep, golden brown and had good onion presence. The sweet tea was spot on and was served in what I can only describe as a styrofoam bucket without a handle. Sweet tea is the way to go… you get a bigger cup than if you order soda. I snuck a bite of my hubby’s brisket and it was excellent. I’m not quite sure why I waited so long to try BBQ Joe’s, but I’m certainly glad that I did!
