This store has great athletic clothes .over priced, but not so much as lulu lemon and the sale prices are super! My issue is that the store is very poorly organized making it really hard to identify what colors a given item comes in as they are scattered throughout the store. This kind of apparel is the stuff that at least for me. if I like a style, I tend to by several. This store is organized to pick out an outfit, not items. I’ll be doing my shopping on the Internet!

My experience at this location have ensured that I will not be purchasing anything from Athleta again. I attempted to exchange 2 gifts in-store today and ran into rude treatment from the floor manager and policies that left me feeling bullied into either accepting damaged merchandise or leaving the store with things I didn’t want. I had a very difficult time finding items I wanted in-store(poor size selection, poor variety) and settled on a long-sleeved shirt. At the counter I discovered it was damaged. It turned out that the only other same-sized item was also damaged. I asked for the entire return balance to be given back to me, instead, so I could get something else at another time. I was told that the sale prices for the items would be credited(not the original prices – because I did not have a receipt) and that it would be issued in the form of a merchandise credit that would be mailed to my home and that I could only use in-store(because I didn’t have a receipt). I said that this was a problem since I couldn’t find anything suitable in-store today and why couldn’t I order something on their in-store computer if I couldn’t order online at home? «No.» Just more«no.» I was made to feel like I was trying to steal or do something sketchy when this whole experience happened because I had ASKED family members to purchase me clothing from this company specifically. Well, no more of that. I won’t be purchasing anymore clothing from Altheta – because of how I was treated and their misleading advertisement of return polices. I won’t tell you not to purchase anything from the company but I WILL advise you to never shop at the Somerset location. You won’t get any help on the sales floor, you will be treated rudely by the floor manager, and you will likely go home with damaged items. Good luck returning those damaged items after you leave the store.

Nice place to pick up some stylish workout gear. Decent quality overall, although I do have some pants from here that pilled rather quickly. Be sure to check out the sales racks in the back near he fitting rooms for some good deals. On average I’d say the items in Athleta will run you about 20% less than another«lemony» athletic store, but the caliber definitely isn’t as great. They only carry women’s clothing, but you can find everything from tanks to yoga pants to maxi dresses to accessories. They are under the Gap/Banana Republic umbrella so you can use your coupons and Gap card. I’ve been getting the Athleta catalog for years, so it’s nice to be able to go somewhere and actually try stuff on.

I give this store maybe 3.5 so I’ll be nice and round up to 4. I stopped in because I had won a yoga mat at a Unilocal zumba event. They didn’t know what I was talking about, which was to be expected. One of the cashiers had to go in the back to find it and was gone about fifteen minutes(I joked to my mom that she had to drive to the Novi Athleta to find one…) but eventually did come back with a mat. I’ve only done yoga once so I may try it out now. :) I might be back because they do in-store yoga and zumba on the weekends, for free, which is nice. The clothes looked nice too but a little pricey, although they were doing a 20% off sale that day.
