I LOVELOVELOVE Fazoli’s and since they got rid of all of them in Cincinnati, visiting my friend in Troy was the perfect excuse for me to go! I had the simple meal of spaghetti and meat sauce but those delicious bread sticks were definitely the highlight of my meal. The staff were very friendly the restaurant was clean.

Maybe I’m just too picky, but when one orders baked ziti at an «Italian» restaurant and gets penne pasta, one has to wonder what the heck is going on? Tsk tsk, Fazoli’s, you can do better than that!

Is there a fast food restaurant that has a more limited menu? I cant think of one. The time we went here last year they only had spaghetti and thin crust pizza. This was the first time I had been to Fazoli’s and I have to admit I was kind of surprised by how limiting their menu was, I was expecting something like an Olive Garden, not this. The food was not bad but not much more than what you could get out of a box of Chef Boyardee, plus the portions were small.

The bread sticks were the best part of the meal. The Roast Tomato and Broccoli pasta that I had was blend. However, the entrees were inexpensive with most of them under 7 dollars. So considering the price, the food was a-ok.

Well, they serve traditional Italian foods, not really 100% authentic, but just as good as you can make at home, but dont have too. My only thing I really like out there that I havent perfected is the panini’s.
