Four stars for a nice store with a varied selection of items. This was one shop on a route of window-shopping. It has an assorted selection of artisan items produced by who I assume are local people. The backroom has some more interesting items, like Buddha inspired artwork and whatnot. Thanks.

Loved Loved Loved our shopping experience! We had just had a breakfast conversation about liking to shop and support local business but how they lacked basic customer service skills … Even the owners sometimes! NOTHERE! We were greeted as soon as we came in(even though both assc. were w/customers.) When I reached the back of the store one of them was finished with her customer and made her way to the back and offered me assistance! Our purchases were nicely packed for a 3 hour drive! The check out was smooth and we were heart fully thanked! Any small business could take lesson from these two on how to run your business! It’s all about CUSTOMERSERVICE!!!

Cool place with a lot of unique finds inside. The prices seem reasonable and for out of towners like myself they ship stuff home — I cannot comment on the packing, yet, but I am assuming it will all go well and it certainly saves the grief of trying to carry pieces personally on a long trip home.

JoAnne’s Stained Glass ’ Gallery is located in historic downtown Truckee, California and has been in business since 1979. The store is filled with beautiful stained glass stars, snowflakes and crystals. JoAnne’s specializes in stained glass, leaded and beveled glass, sandblasted etched glass and fused art glass. Most of the stained glass and etched pieces are designed by JoAnne and fabricated in JoAnne’s Truckee studio. I also enjoyed the walking through their historical«shut gun» building and almost bought a sweet little glass«kiss» for my honey. I’m sure I’ll be back the next time that I’m around these parts.
