The breakfast is very good. Ate here two days in a row during a recent kids sport trip to Tahoe. Very creative breakfast items and omelettes all over the place. They have chocolate covered bacon and that’s all I need to say. Out.

A-OK is the name of this place. Crowded. Line moves fast. Friendly folk. I had the Garth breakfast sandwich which was somewhat underwhelming. I kinda think a breakfast place needs to deliver beyond what I could do in my own kitchen but hey… my kitchen is miles away from Tahoe, so I get it. Just wished things had a bit more zing.

Wanna give this Foodie Spot 5 Unilocal stars. And when we stay in South Lake Tahoe wanna Must come here a few times to satisfy the Addictive Craving I developed for Truckee’s Wonderful Squeeze In. Their Foods is just taken to a level of Food Deliciousness that will make you savor Every Bite. And you can’t wait to Go Back. Haha. When a family member said We Must Dine Here… I thought we were going to a Smoothie Place/Bar. Gourmet Juices and the Like. But to my surprise its a Like 8 Page Colorful Menu Food Haven. So UNDERSTAND one needs to return many, many times to enjoy their Magnificent Offerings. For us thats a half hour drive on the Beautiful East Side of Lake Tahoe. I had their Bacon, Eggs, and Buttermilk Pancake. OJ. Their Bacon was 10+ Unilocal Stars in Flavor. Everybite was memmorable(LOL… there were some Non-Bites). The buttermilk pancake. Was Heavenly. Its outer texture Wow! Maybe it was the oils they used. Maybe they fried it on Truckee Fire Heated BIG Outdoor Rocks? Maybe they wood smoked it after frying? This pancake one will never, never, never forget. Eggs was excellent. Well prepared. I wish I can rate Squeeze In 10 stars. Wish. Wish. Wish. Wish. Wish. But my Wish___not come true. Why? In my Humorous way. Being we were Head Bound to Explore Donner Country this morning(few miles away). I believe Squeeze In’s Magnificient Bacon were prepared to make Happy to two different patrons. Some of the Donner Party members and Foodie Patrons like me. That bacon was so delicious. There were bites for me and bites for some very very hungry Donner party members. Mine were cooked to Perfections. The Donner Bites were, Well____LOL____the Raw in the Squeeze In’s prepared Tasty Tasty Bacon meat. Since we so near Donner Country maybe this is just a Regional Cooking Style. Nevertheless I loved this Yummy, Yummy, Bacon. But then I was pretty hungry. Pretty HUNGRY. Yeah. Some of the fat portions on the bacon seem not cooked enough( Unilocal pictured). Remember this is Pork. Not sure if Very Very Hungry Starving Donner Members would even eat raw pork. I’D meself just cut those parts off the bacon. And just Heavenly enjoyed the rest. Being I have no Family relation to Donners I post this Unilocal review as a four star Hmmmmmm. What did some members of the Donner Party do when they were Viewed as Steak by some of the starving among them. Of cource… Unilocal.

Ordered the Racy Tracy as I just happen to love mushrooms and avocado when it comes to omelettes. Boom — best omelette I ever had! It was surprisingly filling for the size and made with care. I did upgrade the spuds on the side for ½ biscuit and gravy. The biscuit was light but don’t think it was made in-house but pleas correct me if I am wrong. The gravy is creamy with no noticeable sausage bits in it but it has that pepper-y zing that I like. I had better biscuit n’ gravy but it’s very good here and will always swap the spuds for this every time. The slice toast had too much butter for my liking and would had prefer it plain. Service is an hour or so wait but I like how they let you know your table is ready by notifying your cell phone. This way you can hit the town and act touristy while you wait. Wait staff was very friendly and greet you with a smile. Solid 4.5 but rounding up to a 5 now as biscuit are from a house made secret and appreciate it for letting me know*. This is my first ever visit to a restaurant that had a throwdown with Bobby Flay for best omelette. I just had it here!

Food is served to the point that if your used to paying $ 12 and still having room in your belly. This time around bring your stretchy pants because by the time you walk out you’re going to need them haha. The place is very casual and cozy. The people are all wonderful and polite There is writing and vintage stuff around the place, but it’s not messy. The food names are very unique

The price for what you get is ridiculously outrageous. I would make sure you bring a lot of money. A cup of coffee is 3.00 and people say Starbucks is expensive. 1 biscuit and gravy is 6.00, and not a big biscuit either!!!

Too many options to choose is the only problem. Always try to get something different and always delicious. Portions are huge. Love always the sauces, marinara, mushroom, cheese… again too many options lol. Tip… get a bloody or mimosa and look for my name on the wall. Recommended100

Fun place, not quiet. It has that snow border, skater décor and ever present rock music on the radio playing. Breakfasts are very good, and the best pancake I have ever tasted. Prices are pretty good. It’s a hip place with good service. Not your grandpas diner hangout, that said you get all ages in here, everyone comes for the food.

Absolutely loved this gem in the mountain! After a week at the Ritz in Northstar we were ready to hit the road for a long drive home. We wanted an amazing brunch to set us off and thankfully I saw this boarder/hipster spot in Truckee in Unilocal. As we entered the reception area there are stickers and graffiti markings covering what appears to be the original brick walls, hanging snowboards and bicycles, and a bit oddly… a mannequin! Definitely set the tone of this place, unique with a lot of character. After being seated, I was searching through their enormous sort of old looking menu and was nervous. Normally I do not like restaurants with a huge menu, I feel they do not specialize in amazing entrées and cover that up by giving thousands of options. Daunted, I ordered eggs Benedict, probably the most boring thing on their menu, but I LOVE me some beni’s! Also had a side of French toast to share. The food came and I thought I had enough on my plate to feed myself and the three friends I was with! Excited, I dug in and to my surprise was one of the best Benedicts I’ve had yet. The French toast have me the same feeling. They used the thickest sourdough bread that made it crunchy and tangy while of course being sweet and fluffy all in the same bite. Definitely will come here again when we make the next trek up to north shore.

Just cuz Bobby Flay comes, doesn’t mean you get to charge $ 8 for 2 eggs and toast. I had the Racey Tracy. It was ok. Pretty small. Bacon here reminded me of McDonald’s bacon. Biscuits and gravy was ok. Biscuit was too crumbly and not the business. The hour long wait was not justifiable. Next time I’ll stay home and make my own breakfast.

Who doesn’t love the Squeeze Inn? They carry a large variety of omelettes, which is exactly what a hungry skier/snowboarder visiting from out of town wants, especially when their apres ski has given them a wee bit of a headache the next day. It’s a kitschy place, covered in graffiti and stickers from over the years. You’ll always find something new to look at. Expect to wait for a table, especially if it’s a weekend or over a holiday. Staff are speedy, and tables turn over quickly. They’ll give you coffee while you wait. Menu is full of large items. And I mean large. If you have an appetite this place is for you– the omelettes are wide in variety, from beef and blue cheese to Greek style to chorizo. And sauces– they will serve you a cheese sauce(think nacho cheese from the fairgrounds), tomato pesto or salsa. Benedicts are also wide in variety. Mimosas flow here as do bloody marys. Hot chocolate for kiddos. Coffee is decent. When they get busy, be kind. I’d have given 5 stars but we never got the bacon we ordered and the waitress didn’t seem super concerned about it. Thankfully another server took the charge off of our bill. Pro tip for those visiting the restaurant: when it’s really cold in the morning, be cognizant of the door– don’t keep it open!

What a gem! An all around crushing breakfast. We were seated after waiting for a few minutes, and were starving, just coming out of the woods on a camping trip. We ordered some bacon on the side to come out first, and our waitress brought us some in like 3 minutes! We asked for well done hash browns, and they were so delightfully crispy that I couldn’t stop eating them! I had the Donner Donnie with cream cheese and sausage and fruit wrapped with a pancake and it was monster of a creation. Lots of empty carbs, but despite that my soul was full. The menu is vast, full of strange yet delicious looking menu items, and is cozy and eclectic inside. Stop on by and you won’t be disappointed! 5 Stars

I love traveling through small towns. You can find the best food there! Great hole in the wall spots. Squeeze in was one of those great little small town treasures. The décor is eclectic, a nice fun atmosphere. Picture a man-cave type vibe. Very relaxing spot to have breakfast and lunch. The food was great, very different menu with some funky flavor combos. My dish for example was Zweifel omelette. Apples, bananas sautéed in honey and then peanut butter added folded into an omelette. Sounds scary, and I was skeptical but you’ll never know what’s it like till you try it for yourself. I wanted something different than the norm. This was definitely something different. I love peanut butter so I figured why not. The apples were warm and sweet. The bananas were almost mashed giving it a soft smooth texture. The peanut butter was warm and gooey. I added bacon to add some saltiness to the dish. Very good contrast in flavors. Sweet, salty and yummy. The staff was great. Very friendly and very accommodating. I was with a party of 4 and our dishes came out except for one. the dish wasn’t made properly. It came out like 3 min later but yet they still bought that persons dish for making the mistake. That’s great customer service. That alone would make me come back in a heart beat.

While visiting a friend in Truckee, she brought us here for a brunch and to tour downtown. This place definitely is a «squeeze in» place. It’s long and narrow and very cute! The servers were feisty, funny, and very good as well. Everyone seemed to enjoy their breakfast. I can’t remember all the names so I’ll just comment on mine. I actually ordered three chicken tacos with the soup of the day which was chicken and rice. I also ordered the Bloody Mary followed by a mimosa. The Bloody Mary was decent, but the mimosa was my favorite. The waitress making it filled the glass with 2⁄3 champagne and ¼ orange juice… Now that’s my kind of drink! This was a great place to have brunch. and the wait wasn’t too long as well. The downtown area was really cute. love the scenery!

Very good food, and great location in Truckee’s Main Street. The Squeeze In has your burgers, sandwiches, salads type food, along with breakfast items like waffles, egg plates and pancakes. Whether you’re a Truckee local or passing through, Squeeze in has a big menu to choose from. Items ordered: kids grilled cheese with fries(commented as being very good), kids hamburger with fries(she said it had good flavor, but the beef patty was in many pieces and falling apart), grilled chicken breast sandwich with avocado and garlic fries(yum!), chicken patty melt with garlic fries(very good). Along with sodas and iced tea and our pre-mentioned food, the bill was $ 60 minus tip. The service was good… However, we heard repeatedly the staff complaining about other patrons and discussing restaurant business. I’d probably return to Squeeze In, it’s a good place while in Truckee for the day.
