Their team is accommodating, fun, nice and experienced – overall an exceptional experience! They really do all they can to ensure everything is easy for you, and that you have a good time. I will highly recommend Ski Butlers to any of my friends or family that travel to the area, and will certainly use them again myself.

With 4 children 12 & under, there’s no other way for me to ski. No more waiting in long lines and wrangling the kids until it’s our turn! The convenience and the friendly service of the Butlers is unbeatable. I’ve used them for the last 4 years, and I will continue to use them every time I go skiing!

These guys ROCK! Made our ski trip such a breeze. From the customer service over the phone, to pre-​arrival help, to the ski rental delivery service — everything was AWESOME! We talked with Alex the first day we got to Tahoe. We were told they may not be able to get to us that night but for sure the next morning and they would call us when they were coming to fit us. The next morning came and no call. We called back and left several messages none of which were responded to. Thank God we were able to get Black Tie! We were able to get fitted quickly and their prices were great. I definitely would not recommend Ski Butlers. I understand being busy but to simply ignore customers after assuring them you could fit them and then never returning a call for me that warrants no repeat service.

Ski Butlers was GREAT. They made finding a season ski rental super easy — they did everything, from dropping the skis off to answering emails to picking them up whenever I needed them to. Everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful and friendly — especially Mike! Would highly recommend.

These guys are great. Make it super easy to get your skis, boots and poles right to your condo or hotel. To me, in addition to the service being great, the best part is the quality of the equipment — really outstanding. Also, when our younger son decided the next morning that the boots he rented were too small, I called up Ski Butlers and they were at our condo with a bunch of new boots to try on. Needless to say, we will certainly repeat!

this service as recommend by the place we stayed at the village at north star. Easiest time I have ever had renting equipment. We had 2 adults and 2 kids renting skis and they all the equipment was great. They come to your room and do your fitting, putting everything in your ski locker for you. They came and picked everything up from our ski locker and we didn’t even need to be present.
My first pair of boots were a little tight and they came to my room again with new boots, only took about 10 minutes.
Highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

The whole thing was a snap. Skis were brought to my hotel room and fitted, and the return was just as easy. The skis they brought were great– Rossi’s that I really liked. Highly recommend Ski Butlers to anyone in the Tahoe area.

Those guys are the best! No surcharge for dropping skis at Heavenly. Another possibility is to just leave skis at condo’s door and they will pick it up after 4pm.
Prompt and courteous delivery. The basic boots are OK but have the plastic strip at the top two clips. Mountainside pickup is very convenient and they were very flexible about whenever and where they can meet me.

Went to Northstar for the weekend and needed to rent some skis. Popped into Ski Butlets after reading all the five star reviews on Unilocal and wasn’t disappointed. The guys working there were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and super chill. I was out of there in about 15 minutes with some great equipment, fitted just for me and with the added bonus if something went wrong on the mountain I could call them up and they would be out there with new equipment. Didn’t have a problem with the equipment but it’s nice to know you have that as an option. After a long day at the slopes, I called them up and they picked up the skis at our house. Great customer service, prices, and equipment. Can’t beat that! 100% recommend Ski Butlers!!!

You’d be crazy not to use Ski Butlers if you are in the Tahoe area and need equipment. I was there over Christmas and even during that busy time they were on time, helpful and brought tons of great equipment to our cabin. I almost thought it was too good to be true when I called them but we used them for both skis and snowboards and we couldn’t have been happier. Cheaper than renting on the mountain and about 100 times more convenient. I even liked one of the pairs of skis they brought me so much that I bought them. I literally cannot recommend highly enough.

Prompt and professional service. Equipment was in great condition. Come to your hotel or home. Why would you fight lines at resort if you can get this personalized service?

Had a fabulous experience renting ski equipment through Ski Butlers for my family during our first ski trip to Tahoe. I was referred to Ski Butlers by the concierge at Tahoe Mountain Resorts while researching my trip. The main selling points – Ski Butlers brings an assortment of gear directly to your condo and it’s priced comparably, often lower, than traditional rental shops. My children are 14, 12 and 9 and I would have done almost anything to avoid traipsing out to the rental shop after arriving at our destination. I didn’t think twice about trying them out. Ski Butlers require a few pieces of information in advance (age, height, weight, ability level) so they can bring the right assortment of items for each individual. The staff was knowledgeable and personable, they were on time and the equipment of good quality. After skiing the first day, my husband said his boots felt a bit big, so Ski Butlers brought several replacements pairs directly to our condo and switched them out for a pair that fit perfectly. To top it all off, they were running an end-​of-​season special and gave me a 20% discount! I was extremely pleased with Ski Butlers and highly recommend this service to anyone in need of renting ski equipment!

Terrific service/​value. Will pick up/​drop off skis at mountain or hotel. MUCH BETTER quality skis for the price compared to rentals at northstar. Used the $ 75 Unilocal voucher, so made it even better deal. Will absolutely go back. Brendan is friendly, and very helpful. Fantastic all around

We stayed in the Olympic Village at Squaw Valley Lodge. We used the Ski Butlers guys and they were fantastic. We were there during Christmas week. I was afraid that given I was booking my reservations the night before I needed the equipment, that they might be over-​booked. They were able to accommodate me and the service was exceptional. It was fantastic not having to wait in a long line at the typical ski rental shop. It was great having them come right to your room at the resort and fit everybody in the family. Everyone in the group got what they needed. Everyone was happy with their equipment. Then when done skiing they came to pick up all the equipment from our room. So convenient. And to top it all off, their prices are much better than most rental shops. Will definitely be using them again next time we are up at Lake Tahoe. Thanks a lot Ski Butlers. You guys are great!

Ski Butlers gave us fantastic service, bringing the skis and equipment right to our cabin. It was my birthday weekend, and the delivery fit our busy schedule (later at night). And when we chose a boot a bit too small, they brought a different boot out to set us up for the next day of skiing!
The price was slightly better than the mountain, with no lines and delivered to our house.
The attitude and attention of the staff was fantastic, probably the best part.
We highly recommend them. I have been meaning to review them for 3 months, and just now got on Unilocal,but I remember their service!

Ski Butlers were great — would definitely use them again. Prompt front door delivery to our house at scheduled time. Very friendly, attentive, and professional service. Equipment was good quality. Returning at the mountain was a breeze, too — they’ll meet you in front of the resort.
Prices are reasonable for the convenience — and still cheaper than renting at the mountain. (However, don’t forget to factor in the tip you’ll probably want to give them for the delivery!)

They came to our place and fit our skis while we had breakfast. The ski butler crew was friendly and professional and the skis were great.

Ski Butlers is the ABSOLUTE best! I don’t rent skis from any other company, period. Their expertise and customer service are completely unmatched by any other in Tahoe (by a long shot).
