She is so much better than the alternatives around Truckee and North Lake Tahoe. She is patient, thorough and really nice. I am extremely nearsighted with presbyopia and some astigmatism and getting contact lenses that work is a real chore. She has been very patient with me as we try to find some that work. NO one else up here has ever taken the time to get it right. She’s great!!!

If you’re looking for the perfect eye exam experience, look no further… you’ve found it with Dr. Jackson and her staff. Friendly and professional, caring and extremely competent, very reasonably priced and a very thorough eye exam. I left my appointment feeling completely satisfied with my experience and would not hesitate to highly recommend this practice. In fact I immediately made an appointment for my husband who ended up having the same great experience that I had. Truckee is very lucky to have this resource!

Mike and I love Dr Christine Jackson, Truckee Family Eyecare Optometry, and her staff! They are so professional and fun! Plus, they have an awesome selection of the latest fashionable eye wear, including biker glasses for my Harley man. You must go and see her soon.

Dr. Jackson is awesome. She brings some youth and style to this practice. I am barely over 40 (ok 47) and just now trying contacts. She took the time to walk me through everything from putting them into the case to putting them in and out of my eye. It was not a pretty sight, but she sat there and walked me through it. Then a few days later I called with an issue, they got me in that day. I was 20 minutes late and they still unlocked the door and she sat with me again to figure out the issue. She stayed 30 minutes after closing to help me. She rocks and I will be sending all my friends here. Her staff is great too.

Fantastic Doctor and staff — I took an ongoing eye infection to a local ophthalmologist and then to an expert in Reno and the quality of care from Dr Jackson is the best by a long shot. She recently took over the practice from Dr Evans, who was also very good, and subsequently fixed up my self-​diagnosed vampire eye. Also had an annual exam and bought new glasses, great selection of frames and the turn-​around was fast too. We’re lucky to have her in town!
