These people are so horrible. Came down sick so tried to change my reservation back one week. They are charging the whole stay. I will never stay here or eat here again. We spend weeks a year at Tahoe. Horrible service.

This is one of my favorite spas I’ve been to. I prefer spas with a dark vibe as opposed to an airy bright spa so this one was perfect! I loved the whirlpool with changing blue, pink, and purple light. The steam room was also perfect for the weather and my congestion. I also had a massage and it was excellent. The masseuse, Brooke, was great and I highly recommend her.

There was old popcorn on the floor of our room… Not to mention the AC was out the entire time and their employees and management did nothing to fix it except sending us A SINGLE fan. The techs then came to our room expecting to fix the issue while the ladies were all getting dressed. I’ve never experienced such disappointment from a supposedly world class resort. My team chose to stay here specifically for the comfort because we just raced the world championship Spartan race up and down the mountain, the minimum we wanted was some decent AC.

We own a home very close to this hotel. My daughter and I came for a massage and facial and to check the spa out. The facial therapist was very friendly and the facial was good.
This facial person told me I needed the large Clarisonic machine, the cost was $ 285.00 plus of course some lotions to go with that. My daughter pointed out that the regular machine is only $ 95.00 at Norsdrom, why would I buy this one?
I am extremely bothered by this lady PUSHING that on me– If I received such a fantastic facial and she told me. oh go get the cheap basic Clarisonic and try one of our lotions to go with it. If she told me– this Clarisonic is way too expensive– you really do not need to spend the money.
then maybe I would have purchased the lotions and I would definitely come back.
I am sorry but this place PUSHES these people to really push the expensive lotions and products and they are NOT honest about what you need. I will NEVER go here again.

Absolutely wonderful service and experience! My husband and I had the couples Napa journey treatment (scrub applied, soak in copper tub, followed by a lengthy massage) — it was incredible– absolutely recommend! Everyone was pleasant and helpful and the spa was one of the best we have been to.

The therapists know how to massage — no doubt about that. I would recommend getting a massage there and give them 4 stars. Problem is some of the therapists spend too much time trying to sell you their wares rather then letting you enjoy your treatments — which are not cheap. My three girlfriends and I had a couple spa days while staying at the hotel and we all had the same complaints: Relentless up sale during treatments — unforgivable! Towels and cold wash cloths weren’t kept stocked as you imagine at the Ritz Spa, they would be. I have to say the massage was quite good. The facial was mediocre — at best. Basically steamed my face for a long time and covered with a couple masks. No massage or working in of the products. I would definitely return for a massage. I will note that aside from the complaints, the service generally was very friendly and accomodating.

I was here on 10÷18÷14 & had a wonderful time. Honestly I don’t think I was there long enough! I wanted more :)
I had a «Signature Organic» massage with Tasha & the «Revitalize» facial with Tracey. They are masters at their craft, I had such bad shoulder pain & Tasha worked it all out for me so I left pain free! My facial was heavenly and I will be seeing her again no doubt! I cannot say enough good things about this spa. It has a steam room, dry sauna, hot tub/​whirlpool and heated swimming pool. There are showers, changing room, lockers for personal items, and an entire area dedicated to you getting ready for the rest of your day after you leave the spa so you can carry on with your day without even having to go home or wherever to get ready. The only thing they don’t have is make up so bring yours and you will be good to go.
It is really a divine time. Go get pampered!

I try to get a facial every few months in DC but the best facial I’ve ever had was at the Ritz-​Carlton Spa at Lake Tahoe. Not only was the experience itself heavenly but my face glowed for days! The facilities and staff are top-​notch. I would highly recommend treating yourself and making an appointment at this spa.
