This is a great little bar in Trumansburg with a huge beer selection and a killer kitchen menu. Typical pub food (but with a creative twist to it) good atmosphere, varying entertainment, and an owner who’s friendly and genuinely pleased to have you in his bar. Where competition is tight and reputation is key, Dave runs a solid establishment that is welcoming, inviting, enjoyable, and well-​rounded in its offering. Just stop in. You’ll be glad you did.

I thought the ambiance would be hip, but it was more like a honky tonk saloon. They also need to update the beer list. I suggest writing the current taps on a blackboard that can be easily updated instead of a clunky leather bound binder. They should update it on their website too. It’s worth the trouble for the customers. The food is provided by Salt of the Earth Kitchen and they do a great job. The wings were very good as was the roast chicken. I spotted the pork chop on another table and it looked excellent. I definitely recommend stopping in for a drink or some food if you are in the area.

Had a perfectly fine dinner here with my wife. Nice pub food menu and good service. As to the reviewer who came here with little ones. Jeez, give everyone a break and take them to Friendlies. They’ll have a much better time.

I hate to have to do this, but let me precede my overall review with two separate reviews. 1. I give the food 5 stars — it’s creative, affordable, delicious and carefully prepared. I love the food here. Beer selection is great too. 2. Service — 0 – 0.5 stars, based mostly on my last few visits. My last two experiences were abysmal, and they don’t appear to take kindly to kids, even superbly well-​behaved ones.
I love to support T’burg businesses and in the end, want the Silver Line to succeed. Given the awesome food, I’d hate to see it end up as just another unremarkable place that does the bare minimum. Despite being a small town, T’burg’s got a good deal of talent who could run that bar really well. I’m ready to spend money at the Silver Line every week, but things need to change quickly or people simply aren’t going to hang with it, especially if they’re repeatedly made to feel uncomfortable.

Thought we would stop in for an afternoon adult beverage on tap … A little rest stop while in the fingerlakes region … It was Easy … Comfortable … Affordable (great happy hour) and to our amazement we stayed for a delicious dinner and enjoyed local talent. We will be back to visit — eat — drink and hear some music.

I’ve had drinks here before and am always surprised with the quality tap list. Tonight was the first time I ordered from their food menu and I had an excellent pulled pork sandwich with hand cut french fries. Great pub fare with a gourmet flavor.
