Sundrees is a a boutique focused on vintage inspired, upcycled, locally made gifts, clothing, jewelry, housewares, table top, and gifts for everyone in your family from the littlest ones, to the elder statespeople. The eclectic style of the merchandise, display and selections really highlight the talents of a pair of very clever sisters, Diane Richards a and Sherry Spielberg – who have a vision that captures Finger Lakes style. Their selections are affordable, fun and even if you are going to visit to buy a birthday present, you may find that you are putting a few things on the counter just because for you. I love the clothing for my daughter(and she does too). The interesting bath and body products from rich soaps and scrubs(made locally) to exotic dusting powder for your sheets – I am always charmed and intrigued. The cards, the kids products(I particularly like the pair of stuffed mice tucked in their cigar box bed), and the local music round out the mix– Come just to Tburg for Sundrees and spend the day! It is worth the trek.

This is a great little gift shop that I love to visit after a nice breakfast at Artisan across the street. The shop is small, but very full of a wonderful variety of whimsical items. They change their inventory often — though they can always be counted on for gurgle pots and Anne Taintor merch. I always go here first when looking for gifts for my sister or my mother. I bought my mother a hat here — and my sister is always stealing it! I’ve also bought some great skirts from this store. I don’t know if she was the owner — but the woman working the shop one day was actually the person that made the skirts. The skirts are flattering, soooo comfortable, and super cute! I love them so much I basically just alternate between them every day through the summer. A quaint shop for a quaint town. And another excuse to trek to Trumansburg!
