Fastframe

He had done some good work on some of my photograph. The work was done professionally. I noted no flaws. It really made them look more professional. Since then I have come back again for some paintings. They needed reframing.

Sometimes, a photograph or painting needs a lil sumthin sumthin to highlight its best features. In all honesty, until I worked with Phen (that’s what it says on his card but I think that it’s pronounced Penn) on selecting the right frame, I didn’t realize the importance of a good frame. It’s like a pair of good shoes or a nice watch — it’s an investment that makes a big impact.
When I moved into my new office, someone left a Monet print with a flimsy frame behind. I brought it to Phen and got it double-​matted (beige and green with white beveled edges) with a nice wooden black and gold frame — it sounds like a weird combination but the beige, green and white picked up on the watercolor colors in the print and, because the grain on the black wooden frame shows through slightly, the dark frame doesn’t look too harsh. The small gold edging on the frame is elegant and the whole thing definitely «elevates» my office space.
I get a lot of compliments on it but I love it most of all because, when I need to take a small breather from work, I take a moment and look at it. The watercolor is beautiful and comforting. I recommend!

I don’t know what happened to my previous review, but I just want other people to know that I had a good experience at Fastframe. My wife gave me a share of Green Bay Packers stock for Christmas. So I wanted to get it framed. I stopped by Fastframe and the owner, Phen Ung, gave me a fair price and framed my stock certificate the next day. I hope Unilocal does not remove this review too, like they did my previous one. Because if they do, I will be very suspicious that they will only keep good reviews of businesses that will pay for extra advertising with Unilocal.The main reason that I like Unilocal is that is has the feel of having real reviews from real people. I would be very disappointed if Unilocal would offer a service of removing bad reviews if the local biz pays for advertising. Because that is an actual service they offer.
