This store is kind of a disaster. There are two reasons to go here: 1. they always have sales and coupons, and(much more importantly) 2. I don’t have to drive anywhere near Buckhead(that traffic causes more stress than the customer service at this store). The selection is good, but things are scattered and half the time it looks like a bomb went off. The customer service is really hit or miss– I’ve encountered a really friendly and helpful staff member(but just one), a few okay employees, and some notably awful employees. Pay attention to how things ring up because everything is always on sale but sometimes rings at full price. I’ve had to walk through the store with a staff member that disputed tag prices and tried to overcharge me by about 400%. I’ll keep going here for fabric by the yard, but I’m counting down the days for Jo-Ann to open in Suburban Plaza. In the meantime, Walmart has basics comparable to Hancock sale prices.

Customer service needs to welcome visitors and offer assistance. On my first I was not greeted when several employees were around and never offered help while in the store for about an hour. In fact several employees avoided offering asstance even while in close capacity. I felt totally ignored and walked out. One shopper told me when I asked; «This is normal, but they had what she needed»…Not Good! I went to Micheals and enjoyed my visit and the well trained staff.

Cranky old women and super slow service. It’s probably better to find a different location.
