Lack of responsibility from the cook. A family member of mine was eating her fried rice and orange chicken meal when she bit into something solid and screamed. Her mouth begin to gush blood and her tooth had broken into pieces. She begin to cry as she spit out some sort of ear ring. I grabbed the object and it was fried and greasy. We spoke to the staff about it and all she wanted to do was inform them of the situation, no lawsuits, no refund, no free meals, none of that. She was in terrible pain and could hardly talk. The employees responses were rude, one of the gentlemen there was concerned while the rest ignored her and dismissed the situation. The concerned employee begin talking to the cooks when they started speaking a foreign language(Chinese?), They began yelling in another language to each other and eventually ignored her. We left disapointed and til this day I have boycotted this place in disgust over customer service. It was a hard thing to do considering we had eaten here regurlarly for over a decade. I still have my regular order in memory. I have been hesitant to post this review as I have a lifetime connection to this place and some time has passed but I couldn’t live with the fact that a family member lost a tooth and absolutely nothing was done. I feel it’s my obligation to at least speak my mind to someone as Chang’s were not willing to listen. Some time has passed and the food is definitely good but I had to document this somehwere so I can finally rest and stop thinking about this horrible situation. If anyone from Chang’s is reading, I know you thought the incident wouldn’t come back to haunt you but I must speak for the fragile people who don’t speak for themselves. A simple apology from the cook or another small token of concern would have been enough for us, but these things must be said as I believe it was unfair that she was treated like a nobody even though she was a regular for over a decade.

Every time I go to Chang’s I am even more impressed than the last visit. Chang’s is a diamond in the rough and the people lucky enough to find it are treated not only to great food but great prices as well. It’s obvious each order is made fresh from the taste and you can see them cooking it fresh as well! If Chang’s were located anywhere else you’d expect to pay $ 12 minimum per meal, but even their delicious shrimp meals are much less than this. I will continue to go out of my way to go to Chang’s and you definitely should too. Enjoy!

This place rocks, loved their food and was a great bargain. It’s been closed now«for remodeling» and there was no reopen date set but it didn’t appear that anyone was even working on it. Then, they announced they were going to reopen a few weeks ago and yet it keeps being put off every week. Sure hoping that they open back up soon!

My favorite fast Chinese food in Tucson. You would never expect it to be there, and yet it is always full of pick-up customers at lunch time. Be sure to try one of their lunch specials! Fresh food & great employees.
