Well I use to love this place, before this happened. I loved going here because the food is good, it’s super cheap, and you get it quickly. I’ve gone about 4 times before the cons started showing. Our food started coming in warm and got cold way too quickly. Yes we got our food fast, which makes me question if they make it fresh or if they just reheat it. But none of these problems come close to what came up on our last visit. We got our food and it was cold. We got our straws WITHOUT the paper that usually covers them, I saw this and thought it was strange. I looked around and noticed that by the register they have a pitcher(filled with I guess some cleaning liquid) where they had hundreds of the straws without the paper covers. We ate and paid. This was the only time my mom had to pay with her credit card so she didn’t leave a tip(she usually doesn’t leave a tip when she pays with her card). As we were leaving one of the older ladies(I’m guessing she was a manager or owner) runs after us asking why we didn’t leave a tip. After we told her why we didn’t and how this was the only time we didn’t leave a tip she started yelling at us demanding we left a tip. We told her we were sorry and that next time we would leave one. She wasn’t happy with what we said and started yelling at us in Chinese and walked away.

The food here is great, their soups seems to have some magical effect on any cold ! I’d give it a 5 star review but the friend rice is not always consistent and can be a bit oily at times but over all very tasty and rich in flavor

Food was ok. Many other better choices in Tucson. Service was poor and beware they add gratuity without informing you. Overall restaurant not very clean and not welcoming. It’s rare for me to give such a low review but for sure me and my family won’t be returning.

Pleasantly surprised. Dinner was yummy and service was amazingly fast. Had chicken low-mein, beef and broccoli, and sweet and sour chicken.

Food was better than expected and came out fast. Price was around what I expect from this kind of food. The staff were attentive and nice. My only problem with the place is it looks empty and depressing inside. I will be back but it will be takeout next time.

This place is delicious! we tried this for the first time the other night, and we will be back! Great, authentic food for extremely low prices! We had the Cantonese dinner specials, which include soup, wontons, and an egg roll, as well as your entrée. The hot and sour soup is phenomenal! The sweet and sour chicken was delicious. We also tried the pot stickers, which were my favorite that night. So good!

It is not the best but it isn’t the worst. When you walk in, its self seating and you are greeted by the nice ladies that work there. We ordered the combination appetizer, jasmine tea, a large war wonton soup and house special lo mein. There was maybe two other tables there when we were there around 145pm and our food came out really fast, it was surprising. The combination appetizer came with 2 of the crab puffs, dumplings, vegetable egg rolls, some fried thing, pork and another fried thing. The crab puffs were good and so were the dumplings. There was a ton of flavor in the dumplings for it being small. The egg rolls were ok, not bad but panda express makes better sad to say. The war wonton soup is very good in my opinion. I have never had it anywhere else as I usually get egg drop or egg flower soup, but I don’t like theirs so that’s why we got the war wonton. Like I said, I thought it was very good but then again, I have nothing to compare it to. The house lo mein was ok, I feel that the noodles to bean sprout ratio was off, like I was eating a house bean sprout dish, and some of the shrimp weren’t de veined. Which bothered me, but if it doesn’t bother you to eat them that way then don’t worry about it. We ordered Jasmine tea, but only because they don’t have or carry green tea, which I thought was strange seeing as most if not all Asian restaurants have green tea, but maybe that’s just me. The jasmine tea was good, it came with a lemon which made it taste better. Overall this meal came out to $ 27.70 after tax. Would I dine here again, probably, but not because I’m craving their food. It’d just be because of a whim or I’m too lazy to go eat at another Asian restaurant that’s far away. So maybe 1 every year and a half or once every 2 years.

$ 5-$ 6 lunch specials,(egg roll, fried wonton, soup, rice and entrée). Food is served in less than 10 minutes. Curious… gave me the feeling that the items on the lunch menu were all pre-made, and heated when ordered(food was piping hot). I went for the chicken lo-mein with fried rice, hot & sour soup. Soup had large amount of vegetables, not especially spicy, but decent enough. The lo-mein, nary a vegetable, and just a few bites of chicken. The fried rice lacked flavor and while it did have a small piece of egg… lacked any other ingredients. Restaurant could use a thorough cleaning for sure. Stickyness to the table and chairs, and dried sauce on the walls. Overall, a disappointing trip, yet not one that will keep me from giving it another go. I’ll skip the lunch menu next time though.

Ick. When Jack in the Box has better egg rolls, you should just give up the biz. We were in the airport neighborhood and wanted some takeout chinese when we ended up going to this place. The food was ready pretty quickly and it was hot. That’s *it.* The food was also: bland like a communion wafer washed in bleach, and overpriced. We ordered a hot and sour soup(which was *neither*) and needed both salt and soy sauce to bring it to vaguely soup quality. Egg rolls that had cabbage, but no cabbage flavor(or any flavor actually) and entrée items like General Tso’s chicken that was cooked, and *looked* seasoned properly but actually had no flavor and was more than a little dry once actually bitten into.

Well… We didn’t get sick from it– so it gets two stars. But anyone complimenting the food highly has never had good chinese, or even Panda Express. Soggy outside, jerky inside general tso chicken and slimy eggrolls, Sauces that have color but not much else to them and veg that are good but not actually cooked through. MIght have seen better days, according to some reviews but best avoided at this point.

Thumbs down… tried a dish from here for lunch one day this spring and haven’t been back since… enough said. poor qaulity control and total lack of flavor drove this rating to the pits of 1 star only… not inpressed, not at all

Good food — great prices — huge portions! Our group of 4 ordered Kung-Pow chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan, & Cashew chicken /all served with wonderful BBQ pork fried rice, egg rolls, & won tons. All of the food was made fresh and served hot — a little slow on getting the food, but worth the short wait. The location is not great — kind of in an industrial area, but the restaurant and the area felt safe enough and was well lit. The restaurant itself is «nice» enough(another review referenced a hole-in-the-wall, which is accurate, but, «never» what would be considered«fine» dining. Overall, we had a great meal at a very family friendly budget price. Dinner for 4 with leftovers for 2 more was $ 55 with tax & tip — we could have easily fed 4 adults for about $ 30 — and they offer their menu to-go. Recommended — good food.

Marginal at best. The prices are decent, but the food just wasn’t great at all. The flavors were indistinguishable where the chow mein tasted like my chicken fried rice, and everything, everything was far too greasy. The plate my meal was served on was«clean», but the heavy staining was reminiscent of my great-grandmother’s 1970s plasticware. In its favor, the service was friendly, exceptionally fast, and I was full spending only $ 8. Verdict: I won’t be back for round 2.

Yay, finally a good Chinese place in Tucson. It was only 4 miles away from where I live, so that made it even better. Sarah N. and I went last night and had a really good meal. I ordered the Sesame Chicken and she got some potstickers. We shared our meal and both were very happy with our orders. The place was packed for being close to its closing time. I could tell this place was extremely popular. The Sesame chicken was fried and covered in delicious sauce that had a hint of spice. I loved how light the pieces of chicken felt in my mouth. The potstickers were made traditionally, fried on one side and steamed the rest of the way for a doughier texture with a juicy inside. I loved the sauce that came with it. The portions were large, and Sarah and I could not finish one meal and one appetizer together.

The services was great. All of them can speaks English very well, friendly, and fast. The place very flat and quite clean. I ordered Mongolian beef and curry beef with total amount $ 20. The amount is quite big for 1 plate. The Mongolian beef was great, cooked fast and fresh. The curry beef was OK, sweet, and saucy. I was expected that the curry beef should have a thick gravy. Well, I believed that each regions of their city have an authentic food’s signature and maybe this is one of it. I definitely going back again to this place!

OH Mei Hon! Probably one of the best places to get chinese food. It is in the barrio but still doesnt mean that it beats out places that are suppose to be «superior» because Mei Hon is as good as it gets! Their mongolian chicken is very delicious… has just the right amount of kick! I also love their bbq pork lo-mein. Mei Hon has been a family tradition of our for years and I look forward to coming home to Tucson and making mei hon one of my first stops!

I wanted to give this more stars, the bbq pork fried rice is amazing! BUT the moo shi pork left lots to be desired… They totally hooked me up on my last night there. I pulled in as they were about to close and they still happily took my order(and the guy after me too, even though they had turned off the sign). The service was quick, friendly, and came with a smile. The bbq prok fried rice came with delicious(now I’m salivating just thinking about it)
