For the 2nd time I ordered the BBQ Sandwich and requested no grilled onions. I got the sandwich and there were supposed to be crispy onions on it which I asked the guy says we don’t have those… Well it’s on the menu and the sandwich looked nothing like the pic— the cheese on it was a «sprinkle» of shredded cheddar cheese. I won’t be back!

Between the two Charley’s Grilled Subs in Tucson, I find this outlet the better of the two. The food prep seems cleaner than the other place. As a result, the food seems to taste better, too. My only gripe about the place is that some of the folks that work there don’t seem to speak English. The guy that was putting the toppings on my sandwich was challenged by my simple command/​request for «no tomatoes.»

Good Eats! Out of all the choices in the Tucson Mall, including the Subway next door, I consistently go with Charley’s. I recommend the Philly Steak Deluxe and the Ranch Fries. yum!

The BBQ Cheddar sandwich is so incredibly good!
Try their kimi lemonade, it is super sweet, but very tasty!
It is a must have! The location being in the Tucson Mall is perfect for groups. Once you get your grub on, you can go shopping right after!
