Silver Mine Subs

Tonight I wanted a hot sub, I came here. Got the cheesesteak option and it was made in literally 2 min. Great, I’m out the door and headed home, opened it and it was barely and I mean barely warm. I live 2 min away and I’ve had delivery ones from here that were warmer.
Better luck next time perhaps.

Soooo good! I come from California and grew up eating Togos sandwiches, I have always thought they were the best but silvermine tops them! (sorry Togos) the bread is fresh and soft, they don’t skimp on the fillings. All of the sandwiches are great but my favorite is the outlaw Yum!

Rip off alert: they’re charging more for their subs than the posted price ask for a receipt and check it.
Here is my letter to the corporate office: I just wanted to let you know that I’ll be filing a complaint with the Arizona Department of weights and measures regarding your improperly posted pricing at your location on Oracle Road in Tucson Arizona.
Both the overhead menu board and the to go both indicate that the medium outlaw sub is for $ 5.99.I was charged $ 6.99. When I pointed this out to the employees an employee named Mitch indicated that they are well aware that the prices are being charged higher than what is posted «yeah, we get that alot people get upset». This practice is illegal in the state of Arizona. I was not offered a refund.
Additionally, this is my first time at your establishment and I was fairly disappointed that when I begin to pull up to the location an employee zipped in front of me from the cross traffic and parked directly in front of the location taking the only remaining parking spot. He had a car topper on his car so I’m assuming he’s a delivery driver.
When I went to leave the location another delivery driver pulled into the only remaining spot directly in front of the business and he was bumping his music very loudly with his car windows open.
I truly believe that the parking spots in front of the store should be left open to customers that are coming in and not employee parking or delivery parking. I previously owned a major pizza delivery franchise and would never allow my drivers to park in front of the store even though 90% of our business was delivery.
I hope you rectify both situations because of the image of your business is quite nice and the interior quite nice. This pricing issue and employee issue really negates what could be a very highly regarded business.

Great subs at times and the food is super quick. The delivery was okay but came back super messy like it was thrown in the bag. If I want a sandwich that’s quick and edible i go to silver mine subs. They have an interesting selection however not sure how great the chicken buffalo sub was as it was merely smothered in sauce and didn’t have much flavor.

Service and food were both good for the money. I eat here every few weeks on lunch brake and have had no complaints.

Silver Mine, I love your subs… but I think your employees need to pay a little closer attention to what they are doing! Earlier this week my husband and I ordered lunch – one Dodge City add ham on white, and one Georgetown with extra tomato on wheat. So in about 45 minutes we received our order, which was the time they quoted. Hubby’s sub is fine. My sub that is supposed to have EXTRA tomato instead has NO tomato. Hubby calls Silver Mine. They offer us a credit for next time on my sub. He says no, I want a sub with extra tomato on it… so they say it will be about another 45 minutes. They arrive on time again, and when they left, I opened the sub and it was a Dodge City on wheat with extra tomatoes (my husband’s sub!!). So I picked the tomatoes off of that one and added it to my Georgetown. Sad thing is, they had the receipt printed out correctly both times, stuck to the bag both times! How you gonna mess up TWICE in the same day when you have a correct order written out for you!!! Jeez.

Placed an order at 12:21pm this past Wednesday for two sandwiches and a bag of chips. At 1:20 decided to call and see if there was any chance the food would be arriving soon. Person on the phone said she had two drivers and they were both out with 4 deliveries, should be delivered any minute.
1:50 rolls around, still nothing.
We decide to go pick us up something else to eat, since I have to leave for work at 2:30. We called on the way to tell them we don’t want the sandwiches, and the guy on the phone says «I have them in my hand, I’m leaving right now» we say don’t bother, and drive the ¼ mile to the store. It takes us literally 2 minutes.
My boyfriend goes in to get our food, which I assume at this point has been sitting for almost 2 hours.
They claim they will offer us a credit, and but my boyfriend requests to have the card charge cancelled, they say they can’t do that. We have had a similar experience where Silver Mine claimed we would have a credit, that doesn’t exist when we go to use it. So bf asked to speak to the owner. It was supposedly reversed, it’s still pending on the bank statement but we’re watching it.
The print out on the bag, says the order was created at 1:25.
That means that they printed out the order to MAKE the sandwiches over an hour after we ordered them.
So the manager lied when she said that they were out for delivery at 1:20.

I have ordered from this location many times and had it delivered to my office. Today I waited for an hour for delivery, my office is 3 miles away. The sandwich was soggy and made incorrectly. I had a box lunch and the inside of the box was all nasty, something had leaked all over the inside. I was in meetings all day an didn’t have time to re order. Every time I order from them the quality get’s worse. Not sure if I’ll eat there again.

I stopped in because I just got out of running a late rehearsal and I was starved. It was Wednesday night. It was 10:30. Everyone was closed. Jimmy Johns, Chik-​Fil-​A, Jason’s Deli, etc. etc. I didn’t want a cheeseburger from In-​N-​Out because I had a cheeseburger for supper last night and as a leftover for lunch today. I had a hankering for a sub sandwich.
I called and Silver Mine Subs was open and open until 3:00 a.m.
3:00 A.M.
I drove over (Wetmore and Oracle) and there was a police officer taking his 7 (Code 7 = meal break) here. That’s always a good sign, right? The cops always know where the good eats are.
They serve their sandwiches in 5″, 8″, or 11″. Although you can specify addons and dressings, etc. it is not like Subway where you dictate what goes on it as all sandwiches are according to menu. But I’m sure you could customize it as you want it.
I ordered the Silver City: Salami, Ham, Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Oil, Vinegar, Oregano, and Mayo on wheat. Very tasty. Everything tasted fresh. Next time I think I’ll have them go just a hair lighter on the mayo. But really good.
I had the combo and that gives you a choice of chips, pickles, or potato salad. I chose the potato salad and it was a prepackaged serving of Reser’s potato salad. That’s a plus.
You can order online. They deliver.
Good stuff. I’ll eat here again, sure.

Great sandwhiches but please start making french frys and cheese frys as a side i hate having to stop at McDonald’s just to get some frys do that and you have 5 stars

First time eating here. I got the small Dodge City, which is pepperoni, salami, provolone cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato and vinegar and oil. It was only $ 4.39 and I was stuffed! Their sandwiches come in small, medium and large. Their small is the size of most stores medium and they don’t skimp on the meat. Good value and tasty

I love that you can order online and choose a delivery time for later in the day. I’ve done this twice now after getting to work and deciding the lunch I had packed myself sucked. Both times I ordered, my food was right on time. The prices are decent and the food is good – especially their pickles!

Waited over an hour and 15 minutes for a delivery before I finally called and cancelled it. The guy didn’t seem too bent out of shape about the super long delivery time. I’m really disappointed.

I had them deliver my subs for the last time. They said I was out of they’re delivery area even though theyve come several times.20 plus bucks for to crapy sandwiches w old lettuce and stale bread. With all the sub places in the area I will never order from this place again! stay away!

The sandwiches are great. Friendly staff every time. I love that they are open and deliver till 2 am. Nothing like a sandwich delivered when you are up late but too lazy to get food.
I’ve tried many sandwiches there. My favorite is the Georgetown.

Outlaw is a great sandwich. The small isabout the size of must places regular. Kind of scared to see the large.
