Chili’s

First let me begin by saying Allie was an EXCELLENT server. She wasn’t wearing a name tag and the receipt said «Allie» on it, so I am assuming she was Allie lol. The server had a nose ring and she was a beautiful young girl. She was darker complexion but lemme say, shes so pretty (slay girl)!!! She was beautiful inside and out and her kindness just radiated throughout her expressions.
We came after a down pour and we were informed the place had lost power so things were running slow. Allie offered us chips on the house because we were gonna have to wait. We received our food and she was just so nice. She didn’t pull any of that fake waitress crap and never faked a smile. She SO genuine and came off so real. Her customer service was beyond excellent. My entire table of four people was astounded of just how pleasant she was. We left a note on our receipt just telling her how wonderful she was. I have never received such kind service from someone who was just so willing to do anything. She didn’t use the usual «waitress voice» and she didn’t come off rehearsed. She was totally herself and was just on the ball about letting us know what was going on. Our food was amazing. I am so glad we decided to eat there that day. I hope management sees this somehow. You definitely have a winner on your team… She will go far in life with her attitude!!!

Waited 45 minutes to get get after ordering. Then food was cold! The waitress actually asked if I wanted them to just microwave it… what???

You can get a seat you just can’t get service… food is okay service is non existent and not a soul in the place cares including the manager. Had a plastic sleeve in a drink and no one cared… like oh well… when they got to the table (sitting in a booth in the bar for 10 minutes) I mentioned it would look good on the review and it was like busting a kid. almost like not again.

Our server was super nice and very friendly to our children. Our food was very tasty. The kids loved their pizza and my husband really liked his ribeye. I would definitely get the quesadillas chicken salad again.

Our waitress went on and on (and on) about having to work on Mother’s Day while everyone was having fun with her daughter at home. She said she had «PTSD» because of it. I didn’t say anything but my friend is making funeral arrangements for her son right now. Our daughter is serving in Afghanistan and hasn’t seen her 6 month and 18 month-​old babies several months. There are far worse things than working at a restaurant on Mother’s Day. I’m sure our waitress (Brittany WA) was just trying to get extra tips on Mother’s Day but it was ridiculously overdone; I don’t appreciate being made to feel guilty or manipulated into giving a higher tip. Her tip would have been higher had the burger not been so greasy and the fries ice cold.

No pretty lights in the bar. No atmosphere. AND… No Free Chips and Salsa anymore! WHAAAAAT???

Get the all you can eat soup and salad! It comes with unlimited chips and salsa, it’s pretty cheap, and it’s yummy. The staff is always very friendly too.

Wife and I stopped by for lunch. The nachos we ordered had beans that tasted straight from the can. A small amount of chicken, barely noticeable, was sprinkled on top. The Texas fries were dry and tasteless.. Appetizers not recommended at all.

We stopped in for lunch after being on the road for a few hours. seated quickly, drink and food orders taken quickly, server was friendly and fast, food came out within ten minutes and was great. Perfect lunch!

Yuck! Dirty bar. Crusties everywhere! Go to circle k instead! Bartender Jackie was busy bossing her Co workers around. «do this, do that «when you we were ready to order we had to wait for her (jackie) to be available to take our order. Others near us were seated and Jackie was washing a dish or glass, and she kept right on washing and doing busy stuff completely ignoring them. Bad service!

We had a really great meal at Chilis tonight! The food was all super good and the service was even better. Our server was a blonde girl named Johnna and she had a great personality and was a great server! Our drinks were always filled and our food was out quick! We will be back that is for sure!

Why aren’t negative stars an option? We went in on Super bowl Sunday and again a few days later (after being reassured by the manager) that the HORRIBLE Sunday visit was a fluke. Sad to say no it wasn’t. This place severely lacks direction from the management down to the wait staff. I’ve had bad service before but this place definitely has HORRIBLE service. I don’t recommend going here unless you like waiting forever, having to ask multiple times for simple things like silverware and oh ya having the food taste like it was prepared 3 days ago.

Beyond terrible! We went in for lunch, & waited so long, ended up eating dinner. And it was terrible! My soup was Luke warm, my salad had frozen tomatoes, my husbands burger was raw in the middle, my fathers salad had cold fried chicken, we waited an hour for our food! The only thing they didn’t screw up was the chips & salsa.
Last time we were here we had a similar bad experience, but I thought we’d try it again. What a waste of money. Can’t wait until the Jersey Mikes open up across the street.

From the onion rings cooked in grease that should have been retired in ’14 to my room temperature chicken to my wife’s nearly burned steak (that was never recooked and returned to her) it was pathetic.
Avoid this place like the plague

We live nearby, and thus often visit this establishment, but after too many bad experiences, I must share my concerns.
While the food is not stellar (it is what it is), the service is absolutely terrible. Every time. The restaurant is clearly understaffed and not trained adequately. Here’s the typical dinner here: we often show up and have to try to hunt down a hostess. Since they usually have 2 – 3, I don’t get why this is so hard. We are seated at a dirty table. The hostess says our server will be by shortly. We wait for almost 10 minutes and then get the five-​star question «have you been helped yet?» They apparently don’t know if they have helped us? The server asks for our drink order, and also mentions that they assign TWO waitresses per table. That’s their thing here. Be prepared to repeat yourself to two people every time. Shortly after, server #2 comes by and asks for our drinks. We say we already ordered. Server #1 does not come back with the drinks. Server #2 asks if we are ready to order. Where are the drinks? Server #2 doesn’t know and wants to re-​take the drink order. Server #1 then comes back with the drinks. The same trend continues with appetizers and entrees. At the end of the night, we have to correct almost every item on the bill. This is not a one-​off at all; we have a similar experience each time.
The food itself is pretty mediocre. Their fajitas are OK, but the rest of their «Southwestern» fare is pretty underwhelming. This is Tucson after all. Who are they appealing to? The entrees are riddled with mistakes: burnt food, mixing up chicken and shrimp, leaving off sides, shorting on the number of tacos…
We usually have so many bad experiences in a night, that the manager often comps our entire meal! Probably at least four times now. Maybe that’s why we come back.

I’ve debated on whether or not to write this review because it means I first have to admit that I ate at a Chili’s and second It means I have to relive the experience… but this was just over-​the-​top terrible.
Two weeks ago my mom and I decided to grab a quick dinner at this Chili’s. Our first warning sign that this would not go well was the fact that as we were led to our table our feet literally stuck to the ground with every step due to, what I’m assuming was, a spilled soda that no one had bothered to clean up. We were led to the only clean table amidst 10 empty but totally filthy tables piled high with other diners dirty dishes. At that moment we sat there, stunned, surrounded by plates full of other people’s half-​eaten burgers, looked at each other and debated on whether or not to stay.
We were absolutely starving so we thought we would chance it… Not a good call. The food was terrible the service was slow which I really don’t understand because the restaurant was not that busy. By the time the waiter showed up to take our drink orders we knew what we wanted to eat but he wouldn’t take the food orders because he wasn’t ready for them yet. Huh? Apparently he could only handle grabbing our diet Cokes at the moment… those ended up making their way to our table about 15 minutes later and we had to ask for straws and silverware about three times. The waiter was making a big show about how busy he was but as far as we could tell he only had about two tables so we didn’t quite understand what he was talking about.
We decided to split fajitas and I’m pretty sure that the meat Chili’s is buying it nowadays must be the cheapest lowest quality meat they can find. You can taste the preservatives in it so much it barely even tastes like something resembling meat. If I had been able to get a refill on my diet Coke at some point it might have been easier to choke it down, but unfortunately that did not happen either.
All that being said, I do understand that this is a Chili’s and I’m not expecting white tablecloth’s however I do expect a basic level of cleanliness and decent service. Pair that with a subpar prison quality food and we will not be returning… However at this point I highly doubt anyone working there cares anymore– it’s pretty clear they quit caring a while ago at this place.

Usually good service but not this time! My son and I came in for lunch sat near bar area I explained to both hostesses that we were kind of in a hurry we had only an hour and half before I had to be to work they said that was no problem at all they were slow, we ordered our food then 2 customers came in that all of the waitresses appeared to know then our waitresses spent about 20 mins talking them «catching up» and completely ignored us! I asked about 3 times for bill finally got it with 10 mins to be to work! Left bill $ on table walked out and not even a goodbye from front hostesses who were also too busy talking to pay any attention to us! If we do ever come back we will set in main dining area where the waiters and waitresses are very attentive!

Not sure why all the hate for this Chili’s!
Sometimes going to chain restaurants is a guilty pleasure I enjoy when I am traveling for work outside of LA.
I usually get the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, no bacon. As usual, sat in the bar. I like how they have the thing in the bar where you can pay at the table. Sometimes the sever forgets about you because of this, but not here! Tye came by to make sure the food was good, brought some badly needed extra napkins before I could even ask, offered me my watermelon lemonade to go, and brought a printed check in case I didn’t want to use the table thing.
All of the employees seemed friendly and this experience satisfied my Chili’s craving!

Went to have late lunch at 1pm. Two of us were seated immediately as there were empty seats all around. Shortly there after we ordered our salads. After new diners were seated all around us, after they all were served their HOT meals and bar drinks and after we had waited an HOUR for our COLD salads, we were finally served! We were told that our salad was made wrong and had to be remade. REALLY, does it take an HOUR to remake a COLD salad? We will not be back to this restaurant any time soon!
I do not recommend eating here if you want to get served in a reasonable amount of time.

Haven’t been to a Chili’s in a while. My friends and I always have a great time.
Never been to this location, but I’d say hands down, best service for a Chili’s in Tucson! The server was very friendly and attentive, especially since it was during the lunch time rush. We got our drinks right away and shortly thereafter got our food, probably 15 – 20 minutes in between. Not too bad!
At Chili’s the prices are always reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get. I ordered off the lunch menu… They got $ 6, $ 7, & $ 8 lunch combos that come with an entrée and a soup or salad. I went with the Southwestern Mac N Cheese with the Spicy Southwest Chicken & Sausage Soup. Ya, I kept it with the SW theme, plus the waitress said it’s a bit spicy… I like spicy! It went very well with my margarita! =)
I was surprised that the mac n cheese was very tasty! Lots of chicken and very cheesy with a little southern spicy kick to it! Good enough that my kids would’ve loved it too! The soup was as good as the waitress said it would be… Chicken, sausage & white beans with some veggies in a flavorful garlic chicken broth. Topped with crispy tortilla strips! MMmm!
All in all this was one of the better Chili’s experiences I’ve had. Didn’t have to wait long at all, and no need to flag down servers! Service was kind and quick! I like this location a lot.
