Chopstix is a quick and close delivery option to my job. I had their Mongolian Beef for lunch. It was ample enough for two or one person if you are famished. It was still hot when it arrived on the 5th floor which I found impressive. The flavors were nice, both sweet and spicy. The fresh scallions were excellent and pretty standard with Mongolian Beef. I could do without the fried cellophane noodle bed though. They were neither soft nor crisp but had an odd stiff/stale texture that made it difficult to chew. Lame. The dish came with complimentary white rice which I couldn’t even eat. It was just too much food. It seems like it would be the perfect way to soak up all those Mongolian Beef juices but I didn’t want to swell up and explode like the guy in Big Trouble in Little China.

I went here on Saturday with a party of 5. My boyfriend did not received his meal he ordered. I would have told the waitress however she never came to check on us after delivering all our meals or to refill our drinks. When she did come by I told her he didn’t get his meal. I told her to just refund the bill cause we didn’t want it. She said the new waitress delivered it to another table and would make is a new one. I told her no we don’t want it because we were going back to work and had no place to store it and it would just go the waste plus we were done eating. We had gotten a togo meal for a friend and come to find out she snuck the meal I told her I didn’t want into the bag and didn’t refund the money. Bad business! We will not be returning nor will the other 4 that were with us.

I ordered from here for the first time and I am not impressed at all. I ordered Kung Pao chicken and received Kung Pao Celery. The plate looked good until you noticed that there was hardly any chicken in it at all. It was primarily Celery and large cut onions to fill the plate and just enough chicken in it to call it a chicken meal. Maybe not even that. If the primary part of the dish is the least common ingredient on the plate something is not right. If I wanted to eat vegetables I would have ordered a vegan dish. Not impressed and not going back,.

Always drive by, finally decided to give it a chance. We came for lunch, which from what I’ve read from reviewers, never get buffet, but we seemed to be the only ones ordering off the menu. I ordered black pepper steak, my go to Asian fav… They toss it on a grill in front of you, which made several people come up and ask what I ordered… It was good. I’d order it again. My kid killed their egg flower soup. I didn’t even get to taste it, so it must of been good. Hubs got Kung pao chicken, big enough portions that he couldn’t even finish it. Service was great and friendly.

Food is awesome, portions are decent, unlimited rice, and quick service! Sesame chicken is definitely the best chicken dish they had. Love their potstickers and cream cheese wontons. Their noodles need more flavor and the other dishes are pretty good, not great.

No just don’t do it! Greasy burned Egg Fu Young. It was not eatable and because it was delivered nothing I could do but toss it.

I have eaten here a lot and mainly at lunch. They have a Panda Express type of set up, pick you sides and then pick your main dishes. They have a good selection from your traditional beef and broccoli, orange chicken and sesame chicken. They also have Vietnamese chicken with shrimp, Mongolian chicken, and Kung pow chicken. The food is well done and has only let me down once over the past year. Steamed rice is nice and sticky, noodles are wok cooked and you can taste the flavor. I normally play it safe with Chinese food so I’m big on the sesame chicken and Kung pow. Sesame chicken is a bit tangy and is very good. The Kung pow is marinating it some sauce that goes great with the peanuts, celery, and chicken. All in all a great place for lunch the is very competitively priced, $ 6.39 for a two item combo.

The«old» Chopstix was fabulous. We tried the«new» Chopstix a year ago and said«never again» but we decided to give it one more try last night. Yes, the service at our table was great. Wish I could say the same for the food which was pedestrian at best. Same old same old Chinese restaurant menu nowhere near as interesting as the old menu. Guess we were spoiled. No reason to return and try again.

The service is excellent. It is always so clean even the bathrooms. The portions are enough to feed two and the unsweetened tea is delicious(perfect strength even with ice). The servers are always so nice and attentive. Pricewise they are comparable to almost all other Chinese places in town, but the service and atmosphere make this the better choice. My mom and I were enjoying our lunch here on a Sunday, as we typically do, and a storm rolled in and honestly, their windows provide some of the best views to enjoy a storm and it was perfectly accompanied by perfectly steeped hot tea. I’ve never been there during the week to enjoy their lunch express which is set up similar to Panda Express or Chipotle where you walk through the line, chose from that says entrée selections, and speed through with your meal in hand. The entrees change daily and they post them online which is super helpful in deciding whether it’s worth your precious lunchtime minutes.

I got 2 items from the lunch buffet and while they gave you a large portion, I was less than impressed. It wasn’t bad it just wasn’t great, not even really good. I was hoping for better but it tasted the same as the mall Chinese food.(Even Panda is better than this place!) Maybe the food is better if you order off the menu? Not sure, but it was close to the hotel so thought I’d try it. The staff was super nice and friendly though.

Anthony was an excellent server. He worked very hard to ensure our meal was great. My wife can’t eat sugar or starches so Anthony explored options with the chef to come up with a good meal. Vegetable chop suey with light sauce, no starch and it was great. My pork chop suey dinner was excellent, with a fresh variety of vegetables. Their homemade mustard was very good. All in all, my only regret is that I live too far away to return often!

Used to go here once a week for their combo meals at lunchtime since it was close to work and a great deal. Always been disappointed didn’t have the same deal for dinner and had to order off the menu, but then most Chinese restaurants are this way. The last two times I have gone there the service has been iffy, seems like new people all the time. Showed up on 11/18/2014 at opening(11am) and line was out the door because there was no food on the line. Then the manager was snappy and yelling at all the staff who were standing around. Even when they were working then, she was snappy and rude to them — I actually apologized to one of them and said how I felt bad how there were treated and she whispered«happens all the time, but thanks!» Why as a customer am I subject to your employee abuse? Manager then was acting as cashier and just as rude to the customers. When I got back to work, I realized that the Kung Pao Chicken was neither Spicy nor Chicken — totally devoid of flavors and found one teeny piece of chicken in the entire entrée and instead was nothing but veggies. Guess another Chinese place to scratch off the list!

Recommended to us as a close by Chinese delivery place ordered Mongolian stir fry in shrimp. There had to be 10 large shrimp in that dish very very good! Spent over 30 $ total they offered a free coke, I was expecting a small 12 oz can like normal, guy shows up with a 2 liter! Jackpot! Will absolutely order again!

I signed up for Unilocal just to write this review because I was so angry with the service I got. I order from Chopstix all the time. I don’t do the food on the line I order from the dinner menu. It’s quite close to work and is very convenient for me. Usually the food is acceptable but the last TWO times I have ordered Singapore rice noodles with chicken the chicken has been RAW! I took a bite off of one of the chicken pieces and it was bright pink inside. GROSS! This is the second time this happened. The first time I just let it go as a mistake. I get it. This time I called to speak to a manager. I was put on hold and then told the manager was not available. The person answering the phone asked if he could take a message or what I was calling about. I told him I just ordered noodles and the chicken was raw. He said«uhhuh ok» I told him I had to throw away the whole dinner because I did not feel safe eating it. That made him say«I’m sorry for that, I hope you have a nice rest of the day.» Great customer service Chopstix! I guess I should not have called the store, I should have called the health department. I won’t be ordering from there ever again.

Old, dry, bland food. Thumbs up for having sriracha there on the condiments table. That is all.

Have been here a few years ago and was not impressed. But last week I went to a similarly named place in Marana that was good so i thought i would give them another chance. Poor choice. They are obviusly different establishments, different values, I went during lunch time and they have an express which I got, basically a cafeteria line. I am not against such things especially at lunch in the interest of time, but quality should not suffer significantly. I got the Orange Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken with Lo Mein noodles. I also got a side of crab puffs. The crab puffs were the best part of meal. The Orange Chicken was soggy even beyond what I would expect for industrial food. It had no real flavor. The Teriyaki Chicken was tough and chewy. It had broccoli which was strange. One the plus side the staff was quick, responsive, and friendly. I would not recommend this place nor will I be back. I have had chinese food off of a food truck that was far superior. Two poor experiences out of two is enough to get the message.

Ok, it is what it is, it’s a fast food«asian» place. And I say«asian» lightly. I order here for delivery when I’m working at the VA on long call days. Whatever, it’s lunch. The luncheon express menu is edible, although, as expected, it’s a lot of fried meats covered in sauce. Whatever. Good enough for what you can expect from a place named Chopstix. Today was a different story. I mean, Chopstix, don’t put something on the menu if you don’t even have the basic ingredients to make it! I ordered a Chow Mein today, trying to expand from my usual fried meat covered in sauce with ½ 1⁄2 lo mein and fried rice, plus it’s Sunday and they don’t do the Luncheon express menu. I figured chow mein should be right up their alley. It’s typically(even at the real Chinese places who’ve gotten a little bit lazy) flash fried thin egg-based noodles that you coat with a stir fry of meat/veggies/sauce. You get a great cripsy outside while the sauce seeps into the center noodles and make them a good kind of soggy, loosening them up. But, that’s not how Chopstix does it. Listen closely Chopstix: chow mein does not equal fried wonton skin strips. Fried wonton skin strips do not equal chow mein. I got a stir fry of the meats and vegetables and sauce as expected, and a side bag of fried wonton skin strips. I seriously thought they had sent some as appetizers until I realized what was going on. Really? 1. Fried wonton skin strips have a terrible texture when soaked in sauce and soggy. 2. You call this dish chow mein and yet there is no actual mein at all in the dish? Come on! I have no words. Sticking to luncheon express from now on. Man…

Yummy aroma once we walked through the door! They have a good menu and their egg rolls were some of the best I’ve had. We tried the Sesame Chicken and the Orange Chicken and enjoyed them both. Our server was phenomenal keeping our drinks filled and very friendly. Overall a very good experience!

My first ever visit to Chopstix was in October of ’12 with a co-worker. Overall I was impressed with the feel of the place, relaxing and good hot food. I had the 2-item combo of piping fresh hot beef and broccoli, and mushroom teriyaki chicken. Both delicious, and healthy portions piled onto the plate. You can have rice or lo-mein noodles(I opted for half and half). I found the noodles quite good, but the fried rice was lacking. Perhaps it was just today, but I have tasted better. The meal came out to around $ 6 something. You can eat in, or take it to go. The setup and food options mirror Panda Express quite a lot. This place may have an edge over Panda for me. I’ll be back to evaluate it.
